Not to be too much of a hater but it's kind of horrifying how quickly umamusume successfully rehabilitated the establishment of horseracing. All my life it felt like horseracing was this outdated and cruel sport that only gamblers and old people liked, but now I see people younger than me posting clips from real life horse races. I am in the perfect place to study art for real, so I cannot stall it. I have a stable job in a good house with a good workstation. I have years of commitment to this hobby and I cannot reasonably call myself bad at it anymore. I have a stockpile of useable reference material that I actually want to draw.

I need to become good at art, and I can only do that by drawing every day. I've done three finished ones in the last week but really I need to do 30, and to do 30 drawings I need to kill my pride. I need to stop caring about the result and focus only on the process of studying a reference.
