Meet Rapunzel Kaede and Prince Amami!

((Although i planned to draw kaede with her medium-length hair. And Amami who finds her up in the tower, effortly climbs it just to give her advice on how to grow it longer and smoother..))

I can make a short comic about this if i find the motivation to.

Also i imagined this specific scenario (inside the tower): Kaede starts to play the grand piano beside her bed. Amami walked towards her leaning on top of the piano, his fingers slowly tapping with the beat of the music.

“Wow Akamatsu, for a girl who’s been stuck in this tower, you’re pretty—” Before he could finish his sentence, wind from the open window gently brushed the golden hair of the girl, Kaede still continued to play with passion not paying attention to her surroundings. Amami was struck as if he had witness something magical, moreover ‘she looks magical’, he thought.

“pretty..” Amami said under his breath.

“Pretty good huh?” Kaede said smiling at him as she removed her hands from the black and white keys.

“Yup.. P-pretty good— that was what i was gonna say hehe..” Amami blurted as his cheeks turned red.

My Amamatsu doujinshi came in!

I thought I’d share a few pages, in case anyone was curious. The art is pretty simple, but not bad. As for the story, I didn’t sit down to read it because lol kanji, but it seems pretty melancholy. Not a fluff story!

If anyone wants their own copy, I got mine from Otaku Republic. I’ve been using them for years, and they’re great.

I’m really hoping summer Comiket brings us some more Amamatsu  books!
