It's not that he's intimidated -- okay, yeah he was kind      of intimidated. Gally was a big guy and he had a bad      temper. Zart was weary around most of the Gladers      that weren't his own and the guys that do all the heavy      lifting are probably the worst in his opinion. Which      doesn't count for much in the end. Still, he knows that      Gally tries, and it sets him at ease a bit more when      he tries to be more open. He offers him a light smile      that fades off pretty quickly as he rubs the back of his      head.
"Yeah -- I mean I brought it up with Newt. He said      it sounded like a good idea. I can show you where      I want it." He says, motioning for Gally to follow him      before he turns and heads over to the gardens.

Shifting his weight, it’s not hard to tell the Shank feels awkward. Not that it was a surprise, most around the Glade were intimidated by him, but he couldn’t quite grow accustomed to another Keeper feeling the same after always dealing with Minho, Alby, and Newt. Nevertheless, brows quirked, “Of course,” arms crossed with little concern of making Zart feel more welcome, "Just show me where and how high you want it. Did you bring this up to Alby?”

"Sure-- I try."      The Gardens only looked nice     because of him.

He gives a small, almost timid nod of his head at Alby      as the male approaches before he turns his attention      back to braiding the vines around the pole he'd recently      put into the ground.

He digs his shovel in a bit harder at the ground, trying      to get it nice and soft so they could plant some more      of the seeds they've been working on that month, a hand      coming up to wipe some sweat from his brow before he      looks over to Newt.
"Not that it matters," He starts, thinking each      word through carefully. "But everyone's been      talkin' 'bout the new Greenie a lot."

"What brings you over here?" It's not often Alby      comes to the Gardens, normally it was Newt who      spent most of his time here helping him. He wasn't      quite sure what Alby did all the time, but it didn't      really matter too much to him. If their leader needed      something from him, he'd give it.

"Do you think it's possible to build a fence around      the fruit garden? I've caught a few shanks getting      in there and picking things when it's not their job."
He's uncomfortable standing there, but he doesn't know      who else he should go to to ask for this and Gally was the      Keeper of the Builders. It was their job to, well, build things      that they needed.

"Pass me the trowel, would you?"       He holds out one gloved hand while the other is      still holding up a young weed by the stalk. It's a      bit too deep in for him to get it with his hands.

                  "Zart the Fart, you start."
There were a few snickers as Zart, the quiet                                       big guy who watched over the Gardens, shifted                                       in his seat. He looked to Thomas more out of                                       place than a carrot on a tomato plant.
