A Decade Later
10 years ago I created this blog and then (like the vast majority of my 'projects') promptly forgot about it. Since then, I can happily report that I get up early every day (I have 2 lovely, early-bird children), my bedroom remains tidy (thanks to the herculean effort from my wife to break my bad habits) and I did the extra study and am now established in my career in education.
I actually forgot that tumblr was a thing and only came back to this account when I found a blog for language learning... that's my latest project. Needless to say, in the last 10 years I've attempted and failed multiple languages, but this time I'm changing it up (I might even use this blog as a diary for it... or not, let's be honest). I'm using the fluent forever technique to learn Romanian. 625 Flashcards to make and learn using Anki in the only romance language I haven't attempted before. Wish me luck!

Day 0
To start off this challenge, I'm going to make changes that need to happen sooner rather than later. I've decided to make at least three changes per 30 days and see how that goes!
So for this challenge, starting from tomorrow, I will:
Wake up early every morning, even if I don't have to.
Keep my bedroom tidy (will need to tidy it first).
And study at least an extra two hours outside of lectures.
Sounds a little tame to start with, but I'm a lazy student, so this would be a good place to start. I'm going to track it using a website called Chains.cc and updating thoughts and feelings, as well as other related stuff on this blog.
