It was only you, Marc, and the agent - whose name you had never learned and didn’t care to learn - on the quinjet. You held Marc’s hand the entire time. There was no denying the anxious fluttering in your stomach as your two lives continued converging. Each second brought Marc closer to the Avengers, and you’d be lying if you said that didn’t scare the shit out of you.

You read through the briefing notes, getting occasional comments from the agent now piloting the quinjet. Rogue artificial intelligence, not Ultron level, but dangerous nonetheless. SWORD suspected some alien involvement, but that wasn’t the concern right now. The immediate issue was an army of robots hidden underground waiting to be activated.

At some point you started to fall asleep against Marc’s shoulder. He gingerly shifted you into a laying position resting your head on his thigh in a familiar comfortable position. His hand settles in your hair and strokes the curves of your face, soothing you into sleep. You hardly sleep for an hour before Marc shakes you awake.

If i had a nickel every time Charles was caught on camera being jealous of Lando shaking Carlos’ hand, i’d have 2 nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it’s happened twice.

So there’s Lando who is in love with Carlos, who have been together since the moment they met, but Carlos is also probably sleeping with Charles, even though their relationship seems to be falling to pieces, but Charles is also in love with Max, who is his literal soulmate and they’re obsessed with each other, but Max is also in love with Daniel, who was his older, cooler teammate who he pathetically fell in love with, but Max was also kinda in love with Carlos when they were younger, and now that’s over but Lando now has a weird thing going on with Oscar, who is his younger much calmer teammate, but Oscar has a thing going on with Logan, who is his childhood friend, and Logan is teammates with Alex, who loves his girlfriend but also kinda loves George, who is also his childhood friend, and George also loves his girlfriend but also kinda loves Alex, but George also has a weird thing for Lewis, who is his teammate and a big thing in f1, and Lewis had a lovers to enemies thing with Nico, who used to be his best friend, but he also had cute little thing with Seb, who was his rival but in a cute way, and Seb was basically married to Kimi, who had a soft spot for Seb, but Seb also had a toxic thing with Mark, the promising Red Bull driver that never accomplished what he wanted, and Mark was absolutely gone on Fernando, who was also absolutely gone on him, but Jenson was also gone on Fernando, who was his teammate at mclaren, and Jenson also could’ve had a thing with Seb and a thing with Nico, but—

I remembered in 2021 (?) you posted a video of Daniel breaking down in the cool down room otw to the podium a couple of days after Jules' death and I thought "that's sad, the drivers were really impacted". But my moot on twitter is posting about Jules and she shared that Jules and Daniel lived together and how Jules helped Daniel settle in Europe when he felt so Alone ☹️ do you still have it by any chance?

yeah :( Hungary 2015 he broke down and Charlie Whiting (Race director) and a couple of people from the FIA really freaked out, I think they thought he was gonna collapse or had a health related thing. + he was also uncharacteristically withdrawn on the podium :(
