It was 1886 and Sir Maxim Raeburn went missing. The news were all over the newspapers and everybody was talking about it. People kept whispering and making up stories, guessing what happened to the famous and extremely rich aristocrat, Mr. Raeburn's son. After all, he had such a bright future ahead of him– his dream was to become a doctor! Some said he went mad and took his own life, but many believed there is more to the story than what the police found. Which was... equal to nothing. Mr. Raeburn heard about the outstanding detective, Miss Pandora Lovelace. She was a sharp one, according to the rumors. That's why he hired the detective and her new pupil, Mr. Dawn Harvelle. The boy was a newbie and very clumsy, but Pandora saw the potential in him. The two of them started to search all over London and it's area. Only to find nothing... The detective duo did everything they could. They searched everywhere, talked with everyone, travelled across the country. After four years of hard work, they decided it was time to stop.

The Raeburn case was the only mystery the duo never managed to solve through their whole career.

it’s my cabin🥹🫶

okay, so our father is the god of artisans, blacksmiths, carpenters, craftsmen, fire, metallurgy, metalworking, sculpture and volcanoes

basically we’re very talented people

if you’re a children of hephaestus you like doing things your own way

you learned how to enjoy the process of creating/planning something

however, 🫵 you are NOT organized at all, you just learned to deal with how messy your life is

i don’t know who created that thing about most hephaestus' children being ugly because, honestly, i’ve never seen any of us who was truly ugly

so i’d say we’re all beautiful without trying😌

when you were a child you used to ask the adults questions about how the things worked, and if they didn’t know how to answer you’d just figure it out yourself

most of times you understand physics but just can’t get good grades on that subject (if you have it at school)

as a daughter of hephaestus, i know how awkward it is to talk about our feelings, especially about love, and that’s why we don’t talk about them to anyone☺️

and it’s not that we don’t trust anyone, (i mean, we do take longer time to trust other people but anyway) we just feel like we’re bothering our friends/family when we do it

you either never give up or is just freaking out after something goes wrong on the first try

we hate seeing someone being ignored

usually friends with cabin 1, 6 and 13 (maybe cabin 5 too)

aspen is the daughter of bacchus.

her mother, helen mckay, is a mortal stage costume designer.

aspen was born in 1992, making her a year older than percy jackson.

aspen went to the wolf house at the age of ten and has been going to camp jupiter ever since.

her demigod powers include some limited control of vegetation, mainly manifesting in an extremely green thumb, being able to befriend any cat (including big ones, like leopards), inducing a temporary insanity over people by touching them, and being able to identify wines easily.

her weapon of choice is a thyrsus.

she does theater at camp and at her school(s), too. she dreams of being a stage actress.

aspen is easy-going, a little eccentric, and often appears to live in her own little world. she loves a good party and is usually in a cheery mood. it might seem like she's incapable of taking anything seriously, but in a tight spot she's a reliable ally (if not in a way you would expect).

"I'm not - that's impossible. I was found abandoned and given to Lord Oceanus as a baby to raise. I'm not this... Penelope Jackson you seem to think I am. Why should I trust anything you say? You can't even see that the gods don't give a damn about you!"

A little known fact to anyone that is not Sally, Percy and Poseidon - Sally was originally pregnant with twins, a boy and a girl. But only the boy, Perseus - Percy - survived. Or so everyone always assumed. In reality, the Titans and their followers had discovered that not only had Poseidon broken the oath and set the Great Prophecy potentially in motion, but the woman was pregnant with twins: a flip of the coin, and either child could be the one of prophecy. So a plan is devised, one that is cleverly hidden from even the Gods - kidnap one of the babies and leave another in place, one that would be enough mix of sea and mortal to fool even Poseidon but the baby's soul was already in the Underworld. The baby that is kidnapped is born Penelope Jackson and is given to Lord Oceanus to raise as he would. And so Penelope Jackson is renamed Ariadne Paris - a reminder of the cruelty of both gods and humanity - and raised with one goal in mind: serve Kronos and destory the Gods and Olympus itself when the time comes.

When Zeus' bolt is stolen and word is recieved that Poseidon's demigod son is being sent on a quest to retrieve it, Ariadne is given the mission of infiltrating Camp Half-Blood as a spy for the Titans. But like calls to like, and Percy and Ariadne still find themselves drawn to one another, while the camp tries to figure out who's parent the mysterious new camper is and why their powers seem more aligned with the Sea God's more violent side.
