cid is the g.ordon r.amsay equivalent in the field of mechanics and technology .  .  .   roasting people on full blast and swearing up a storm at the slightest mistake or inconvenience .  .  .   but super nice to children under the age of 13 .  .  .   like my one hc states :   he’ll look to adopt a child from the Leaf House in midgar and that kid will be treated with such kindness and compassion ,   he’ll tell them to watch their language ,   he’ll encourage their dreams no matter what they may be ,   but god forbid you’re an Adult and you ask him for help lmaooo

little things i thought about on the drive home from the aquarium :

after all the diving they do into the ocean ,   cid becomes enamored with exploring the depths   ( less than space ,   however ,   which is still his ultimate dream / goal ! )   and commissions his own seacraft :   insolent !

he cleans and fillets every fish he catches out back because shera can’t stand the sight of all that blood 

his house is the largest in rocket town !   but it’s been built upon and built upon over the years as he finds inspiration ,   and therefore isn’t uniform across the rooms :   his house is large ,   sure ,   but mismatched in architecture ! 

he is proficient in math and science while his weaker points are reading and writing ;   he can correctly pronounce lengthy scientific terms but cannot understand the theory of double negatives and believes   “ ain’t never ”   is still wholly correct 

he and vincent always share hotel rooms because vincent can sleep through his loud - as - hell snoring   ( which only occurs when he’s sleep deprived ,   which is ,   unfortunately ,   commonplace  while on a planet - saving adventure )

speaking of vincent :   he’s one of cid’s best friends !   don’t get us wrong :   he’ll talk shit on vincent all damn day ,   he’ll talk your ears off ,   but at the end of that day  he’s still someone cid trusts with his life .   he frequently offers to upgrade vincent’s claw while simultaneously not blinking at the fact that vincent does ,   in fact ,   have a claw in place of a hand .   

he tips !   his momma didn’t raise no rude child :   he respects those in the service industry and always tips well .   this includes chocobo sam’s drivers and bell boys at hotels !

he ignores   “ no smoking ”   signs and  will  smoke indoors until told by security to  please smoke outside ,   sir ,   this is a family establishment 

he rents a three - piece suit when he first starts working with shinra’s space division ,   but the longer he’s involved ,   the less and less formal his attire becomes ,   eventually showing up in ripped jeans and a clean - yet - faded shirt 

@fataleflair and i have extensively plotted and ,   yes ,   we ship them ! 

he’ll blow his gil on chocobo races if no one is around to stop him 

he smokes out back of the honeybee inn and gets to know the honeybees who also smoke :   he’ll offer his arm to any man or woman in heels to help walk across the rough streets of wallmarket and watches the dances / shows in awe ;   one night ,   he bodily carries out a drunken man who harrassed some honeybees and drops him like a sack of potatoes at the front entrance 

he  has  received a massage from madame m !   now every time he sees her ,   he nearly stutters his words and even blushes if madame refers to his first massage ,   in which he moaned like a man getting fucked

flips the table  look i can finally post wth ,   earlier it kept giving me an error message and not letting me post outside mobile ,   but anyway hi i’m alive and spam following new blogs !   for future reference :   though my main fc is the animated version(s) of cid across media ,   i also have an irl fc for non - animated muses !   i am also willing to and interested in fitting cid into various different fandoms for cross - overs !
