01 Closeted furry. Platonic / brotherly love is great, but romantic love is fake and if Hooguro catches any of you being in love, you’re blocked. He gets incredibly annoyed with anyone and everyone who has romantic feelings towards him, the more intense and the harder a person strives for his approval, the more he grows to dislike them. Granted, his name isn’t Hooguro for no reason, he does sleep around a lot, but it’s purely a matter of sexual gratification and physical attraction — he likes attention and validation as much as the next person, but he also resents the people who give it to him, not that he’d be outright nasty but he doesn’t have a particularly high opinion of anyone he beds, thus why he sleeps exclusively with human women, he’s predisposed to resent humans! A big part of the reason why being that prior to joining the whitesuits, he got by in life by working in a host club (made lots of money, ate the customers who weren’t paying off their debts, etc...) and in doing so got very wrapped up in the disillusionment a lot of the men working in these establishments feel towards love  — he spends the best days of his life faking affection towards people for money, it becomes a nuisance to him and a threat to his job if they grow sincere feelings in return, etc...
