My favourite thing about H.P. Lovecraft ever is that in every single photo he looks incredibly disgruntled and somewhat surprised that someone took a photo of him.

Even that one picture of him smiling looks more like he’s thinking “Yeah, you take your photo, motherfucker. I’ll kill you in your sleep for taking it”
