In a nutshell: a knight without a coat of arms and a polar bear are collecting alms while telling the crowd "Dragon Wisdom". Some say the knight is speaking to the dragon, others say that's not true. Who knows...

I tried his snarky profile so many times and just didn't get either his nose or his mouth! I even tried to give him his toothpick, but eventually I feared that he would only hurt Tahny or himself with it being like that! 👿🔥

And you precious bb drew again one of my Owl Squad boys and it's soooo long overdue that I draw beautiful Tahny! 😱💕 I'm a bit proud of that glossy platinum hair 😎

I'm doing a massive overhaul on TD atm, I'll post about that stuff in a bit. the top was originally inspired by Luke's RotJ look but I realised the whole silhouette is kinda similar to Korra from TLoK, so I'll cite her as inspo as well. I could not be bothered to do the diamond tattoos over and over so it's just the vibe, you get it. lips are tough man 😔

Tahny's mermaid name is Tah'lassa- kind of a bastardization of Thalassa, a Mesopotamian sea goddess. Unwritten lore is that the name would be passed down to her from her mother who inherited it from hers, etc etc.

Also a note on Tahny's tail design- You may notice her tail starts on her lower hips rather than upper hips. I based her design on vintage nautical art with similar depictions like the illustration below.

We'll see if I do more Castaway this year but the next half might wait till we're in Mermay proper again. It's getting late in the summer (and my birthday is this weekend!) And I have other parts of the main story I want to tell and might have to work on my Fall special early.
