jesus entering jerusalem for the last time is meaningful. but it's wrong to think that there is a terminus here, or that we can talk only of him entering on a colt in the morning. because the gospel tells us that he spends the whole day in the city, looking around, wandering, engaging, ongoing, becoming, until it is very late--and only then does he go to find a place to rest with his friends. the image of palm sunday is not of a god entering holy ground. instead, it is a god entering holy ground for the last time--and he knows this. he's taking it all in. he's turning quietly down a side street to take a deep breath. he's staying out later than half of his friends want him to. this god is nostalgic. moving slow, dragging his feet. wanting one, last, good day

i finished reading your story and i must say that, while it's alright, there's so many plot holes because the characters made irrational decisions and didn't think logically 100% of the time. consider fixing this next time please

at some point you have to realize that you actually have to read to understand the nuance of anything. we as a society are obsessed with summarization, likely as a result of the speed demanded by capital. from headlines to social media (twitter being especially egregious with the character limit), people take in fragments of knowledge and run with them, twisting their meaning into a kaleidoscope that dilutes the message into nothing. yes, brevity is good, but sometimes the message, even when communicated with utmost brevity, requires a 300 page book. sorry.

young me especially would have hated hearing this but networking is literally the most important thing you can do to improve your situation like forget economic barriers to education etc just keep making friends with different people and eventually someone will offer you a hand up just because they dig your vibe and that is exactly all that's happening when undeserving people surpass you anyway

not only do i not believe that draco would cut off his family post-canon, i also see him as being one of those people who say things like "but they're your family" and "whatever they said can't be that bad" if he found out a friend had cut off their family for entirely justifiable reasons

I do like characters who do not exhibit any hint of sexuality in any way because they’re too busy being tormented by the narrative. like “yea I might be gay or whatever but the labyrinth is growing so I can’t worry about that shit rn”
