Yesterday we lost, if not the greatest, one of the greatest rappers to ever grace this earth
One of the most technically gifted artist and one of the most notorious villains, his mask and his personas marked a whole generation
From old school to new school the most influential rapper/MC to ever live, he blessed us with some of the greatest music to ever be heard
It is impossible to think of rap or hip-hop without thinking of one of his many personas from MF DOOM to Viktor Vaughn to King Geedorah his music and his personas are unparalleled and although the person behind them may not be with us anymore they will live on forever

A few things I learned from writing my feature screenplay
I figured I’d share a few things that I think helped me take the idea I had for a story and turn it into a first draft.
- The only way out is through: I had been writing this screenplay on and off for a few months, usually getting to around page 30 and then going back to the beginning and rewriting - I found it was an endless loop and I was never making any progress past those first 30 pages. It seemed the only way for me to make any real progression towards finishing was to not allow myself to back peddle for rewrites and instead just keep pressing forward. (Any ideas I had for rewrites I jotted down in my notebook for future reference.) Once I stopped allowing myself to go back, I finally made it past page 30 and eventually finished a first draft.
- Write consistently: I was always bad with writing only when “inspiration” hit, which basically meant I was never writing. I decided that the only way I was going to get this done was to give myself a schedule. I have a day job, so I decided I would write at night, Monday through Thursday and had to, at the very least, write one page before I could stop. Some days I barely got a page done and others I got multiple pages written. But all in all it only took about 6 or so months before I had a first draft.
- Give yourself a lead for the next day: at the end of each night of writing, I got into the habit of leaving myself what I would call “leads” (like a lead a detective would pursue) which was basically ideas or a brief description of what could happen next in the story so that I was never stuck at the start of my next writing session wasting time wondering what to do or where the story would go.
While I’m far from an expert when it comes to writing, hopefully some of this stuff might be helpful for people who have an idea for a screenplay or may have already started one and are struggling to finish it.

Let's take a good look back at Tommy Heinsohn's spectacular career
Tommy is one of the only 4 people to enter the hall of fame as both a coach and a player
He won 8 titles with the Celtics as a player alongside Bill Russell
And 2 titles with the Celtics as a head coach
He is also a
6 time all star
4 All NBA
And the 1956-57 ROY
For his career he averaged
18 ptg and 9 rbg
And he always turned it up in the playoffs averaging roughly
20 ptg and 9.5 rbg
He is one of the most polarising players to ever play and he was one of the first true pioneers of the game
He is Boston's golden boy and meant so much to the organisation being there for them for 60 years
Later attributing as one of the best commentators of any sport in sports history
With his most iconic saying "the little guy"
Tommy Heinsohn you will truly be missed may your soul rest in heaven

In his return to the NBA with the Wizards, Michael Jordan stated that he did just because he missed basketball and he meant it, while making himself have the smallest contact on the team he didn't make a single cent out of it and all the money that he made went to charities
In his contract he wrote "for the love of basketball" and he meant it
