Dimitri chose Rose for the first time.

In this scene when Rose keeps repeating

"Fight back! Fight!"

it's how she urged him to choose duty, because that's what he always did, and that's what he did with her. And you can clearly see that he shakes his head as if to say "No this time I choose you Rose, not the duty". He think he deserves this and that Rose needs this.

It was the most beautiful and most significant scene of the episode.

In this moment Dimitri chose Rose, he put her first.🥀❤️

Daemon: "I need *Rhae...* nothing."

Daemon was going to say that he needs Rhaenyra😍

I love how even after a lots of years have passed they still love each other like the beginning, and I love how with Rhaenyra and Daemon is a matter of NEED, it's like they are each other life, one live only with the other, when they are separated they are not living but surviving.

Rhaenyra is Daemon life and Daemon is Rhaenyra's life. They are soulmate, kindred spirits.

And a special mention of this moment.

A room full of people but actually so empty, the only ones present were the two of them. A moment exposed for all to see but in reality so intimate. I honestly felt like a third wheel, only the two of them could make me feel that way.

I love the fact that Daemon unlike all the others wants to make Rhaenyra understand that, although she is a "woman-grown", she can still be in control of herself and her being.

Viserys still sees her as a "just a girl" (most likely because for a father a daughter is never old enough) and as a political pawn so he forces her into that role that is tight for her.

Alicent sees her as what she couldn't be so with jealousy, which is why she reacts badly to the virginity argument, because Rhaenyra could choose her lover.

Otto sees it as an obstacle to be eliminated and to do so he uses any means possible.

Only Daemon sees Rhaenyra for what she is, a young woman discovering her being. I love that he explain her that marriage is a duty but that marriage doesn't preclude to find pleasure elsewhere.

"Marriage is a duty... Yes. But that doesn't stop us from doing what we want. From fucking who we want."

I love the fact that he wants to free her from labels, free her in general and make her discover her sexuality.

Then I believe that everyone is free to interpret their relationship as they want, I personally do not think that he is using her to get to the throne indeed I believe that he is really fond of her and this scares him because it is a situation out of his control. I believe that his:

"I want Rhaenyra. I'll take her as she is, and we'd her in the tradition of uor house."

is an explanation of Daemon's feelings.

And above all I find it amazing when Viserys exclaims that no one will want Rhaenyra in marriage since she is no longer a maiden, Daemon replies that he does not care what the Lords think, because for him Rhaenyra is not a trophy to be exhibited, but a person, and that the fact that she is no longer a maiden says nothing about the woman that Rhaenyra really is.

Daemon and Rhaenyra are two sides of the same coin just as Viserys points out.

"Daemon and Rhaenyra shared the blood of the Dragon. They are restless and chaotic."

I love the relationship between Daemon and Caraxes, I think it's the perfect description of the phrase "one soul in two bodies".

As soon as Daemon draws the sword Caraxes appears and comes to his aid, it is as if Caraxes feels all the emotions that Daemon feels.

In fact, as soon as Rhaenyra appears on the scene together with Syrax both Daemon and Caraxes relax and calm down (also because let's face it Daemon is Rhaenyra's whore).

It is as if Daemon and Caraxes were united by the red thread of destiny.

Kanat in fetal position, the most vulnerable one, that taken by emotions shows this vulnerability to Ekim... The only person with whom he feels so safe enough to show this vulnerability, knowing that despite everything she will never judge these weaknesses.

Kanat is a soul that must be protected from the toxicity and violence that surrounds him.🥀🖤

I think there isn't a sentence that can better describe this feeling. Kanat has finally decided to listen to his heart, while Ekim's mind somehow manages to take over her heart every time she gets close to Kanat. Kanat understood the situation very well and in fact says:

"Forget my eyes. Hear me"

He knows that the only way to make Ekim understand that he's not lying and that he's really him only with her is to make her feel his heart, and that's just what he does.

Scent have a power of persuasion stronger than that of words, appearances, emotions, or will. The persuasive power of an scent cannot be fended off, it enters into us like breath into our lungs, it fills us up, imbues us totally. There is no remedy for it.

DETAILS

This whole season is based on details that slowly develop everything that happens between Anthony and Kate.

HANDS

I don't think that there's much to talk about this topic. The hands were the true protagonist of the story. They communicate through the hands. Hands were their bond. Hands were the expression of their unique love.

LOOKS

The looks that the give to one another. When the room or the place were full of people and they look at each other it was like they were the only one left in that space, it was like everyone else disappeared. They have the power and the magic to make every other person superfluous, they were the one and only in that place.

Their looks express desire, longing, crave, love and all the emotions that they cut off just to fulfill their duty.

SCENT

Anthony is overwhelmed by Kate scent, it's his personal aphrodisiac. Anthony go crazy every time he smell her scent. And when Kate is near him it's like he can't control himself, he has to smell her and drown in her scent, in her essence.

PANIC ATTACKS

The fact that Kate understood when Anthony was having a panic attack and calm him down is the ultimate expression of care. The whole bee scene was superior. Anthony hands placed on her and on his heart just to make him feel that they beat in unison.

Anthony panics every time Kate mention to go to India, he literally go crazy, like he can't stand to be even one centimeter apart from her.

THEY ARE THE ALIKE

Anthony is Kate and Kate is Anthony. It's like they are the same person. They sacrificed their lives in order to protect their family. They had duty to fulfill and that is what they do, not always is the best or right ways but in the best way they can do. Anthony is the only person that can understand Kate completely and viceversa. They even have the same competitive spirit.

UNLOCKED EMOTION

Kate is the only one that make Anthony laugh and cry, he laugh with her and cry for her. She is the only one that can unlock his emotions. It's like he can finally breathe when he's with her, he is alive around her.
