Also shared dreams/having dreams with stuff from the other's mind. Newt dreams about being bullied as a kid and stern authority figures; Hermann dreams about his mom never writing or calling and nobody listening to him.

Sudden appreciation for each other's music. They make the world's WEIRDEST playlist.

Once the ppdc closes down or whatever, if they find jobs more than an hour away from each other, they call, text, and email each other CONSTANTLY. Vanessa knows Hermann needs his one hour phone call with the bestie in the evening; Illia knows he can't call during that hour bc Newt's on the phone with the bestie, ect. Lunch break? Texting time. Just woke up? Check email. They have 20 different conversations going across ten different apps and no one but them can keep up with it. They're also fully capable of transferring conversations - if they're been emailing about a theory and one brings it up during a phone call, the other just instantly is prepared to talk about it. Same brain.

I think it really does speak for just how deeply there is something wrong with the online queer community that trans guys & mascs reaching out genuinely to say "we're dealing with a lot of issues that have gone completely undiscussed and it's bad enough that some of these things are killing us, and none of you even know they're happening" results in such a vitriolic response that there's been targeted harassment at every major blogger who's talked about it. like that's the immediate honest response to a plea for pain and suffering to be heard. what the hell.

idk if cis women are aware of this but u can actually talk abt how difficult it is to be a woman living under patriarchy without wildly misrepresenting the experiences of men living under the patriarchy. i’m watching a comedy special where a thin white woman just said that men aren’t affected by weight gain and i would like to know on what planet being a man protects you from the disgusting and deadly culture of fatphobia we’ve cultivated. i would like to know on what fucking planet a thin white woman is more affected by gaining an inch around her waist than a fat man having to deal with being dismissed by doctors, passed over for jobs, and treated horrendously by fellow human beings. like. trust me, i lived as a woman for almost three decades and still am seen as a woman, i understand the urge to vent about the patriarchy. but you can so easily do that without completely ignoring intersectionality or speaking on experiences you don’t understand or quite frankly don’t care about.

Why do I feel like in every BNHA/DP crossover fic that I’ve read no one seems to be inclined to give Danny a believable cover story for his powers, when a really easy one popped into my head the first time I ever thought of it.

Quirk: Archetypal Ghost

This Quirk gives the individual the potential to develop any ability that is/was correlated to Ghosts in mythology, folklore, and pop culture (with in the human collective conscious).

Why can Danny produce ice? Because ghosts cause cold spots everyone knows that. Why can Danny affect radio waves and cause tech to glitch out? Because ghosts can affect radio waves and cause tech to glitch out. Why can Danny be invisible, intangible, and fly? Because ghosts do those things.

And just on and on for every single one of his powers.

There’s not a single one of of his innumerable abilities that doesn’t fall under the category of “It happened at one point in mythology/folklore/pop culture and has since been adopted as a Ghost thing by the collective conscious”.

Even his more unique and obscure powers like Ghostly Wail, Dream Walking, and Entering forms of media, fall under this explanation. Because Banshees, the idea of spirits of the dead communicating via dream, and the movie The Ring, are all ideas that have existed for more than 200 years by the time BNHA starts, and are firmly entrenched in the collective conscious by the time the story starts.

So yeah, don’t know if writers are intentionally going with “Danny doesn’t know how to explain how all of his many superpowers are just one highly versatile super power (even though the boy is the most generic ghost to ever ghost when it comes to powers)” on purpose. Or if they just don’t want to come up with a proper Quirk name and description for Danny’s halfa status.

Text: PSA to anyone with a tree nut allergy who frequents starbucks. We have a new drink called the pistachio cold foam cold brew and our pistachio sauce not only has real pistachio in it, the syrup sticks inside the blender and will 100% not fully wash off with the rinsers we use (its just water). I highly suggest if you want a cold foam drink during Jan-March you request it done in a sanitized blender to lower the chance of having a reaction if you are at risk.

Heyo DP (and possibly BNHA?) fandom! I’m trying my hand at writing fanfic for the first time in uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh six years? I don’t know if this will go anywhere at all and want to keep it super low pressure to try and trick my brain into liking writing for a bit longer, so pls don’t ask for more (…yet. We’ll see if this turns into something). Anyways, here’s a snippet of a dp x bnha au that’s been beleaguering my brain for the past week. Enjoy!

Morals Hurt AU

The last thing Danny remembered was hurtling through the ghost zone and towards a small-ish purple door. 

The first thing he noticed was the smell of blood and day-old chicken pot pie. Ew - he thought - he also felt it, soaking into through his left shoe. It wasn’t even comparable to ecto-contaminated sausages, but the forceful and unpleasant odor did well to wake him up fully. He categorized his surroundings:

Taste: Rotting trash, someone’s old moth-bitten sweaters, possibly weeks-old chicken pot-pie.

Touch: Left shoe: bent underneath him in a perfect baseball slide, but almost fully soaked in pot pie (now mentally placed at nearly two-years-old. Chicken and deliciousness should never get to this point of putrid.)

Body: Ragdolled on top of a dumpster two times his width (but comically, half his length. His other foot (with the shoe half off) had marked the end of his cramped leg by sticking out like the little red flag on a mailbox would.) 

Sight: Gray sky, towering concrete on either side and probably behind as well. An alleyway, at best guess. A once-green dumpster, now streaked with grime and– 

Blood. Ectoplasm. 

And then sound burst in - the final sense (other than his ghost ones.) He hadn’t noticed before, but Danny’s introspection had taken place in the vacuum of just-got-the-shit-kicked-out-of-me silence. It ended with a swoosh, and then sirens, helicopters, and honking horns (oh my!) blared loudly, with no concern for his building headache and, he sniffed to check, his probably broken nose. 

“Gh!” He exclaimed, jerking a bit as he eloquently finished assessing the situation. He touched his nose with one hand and then with both as he hissed out a quiet “ouch ouch ouch motherfranker.”

Well.

His nose was definitely broken. And with each movement, he was folding further into the dumpster (any more and he’d actually fit, god help him), and the freaking chicken pot pie had splorged to cover his entire left leg and butt. 

What a great welcome to this new world.

He would be terrifying in the bnha universe with how many powers he has and paired with the experience of fighting enemies that can go intangible and being able to be intangible himself, unstoppable. I am so close to writing a fic

I wanted to make my own vigilante AU with these 4.

I always loved seeing people’s vigilante designs and just wanted to draw them in some casual vigilante clothing. Just some stuff you can get at a sport center. I imagine they change their hairstyles and wear masks when they go out and their weapons aren’t anything too fancy. Fights quirkless as to not give away who they are. Probably get into some mischief as they troll the heroes and cops.
