my favorite part about Date Everything is that it becomes a horror game when you actually think about it for even a moment.

everything in your house. is alive.

every appliance, every piece of furniture. the air you breathe, the water you flush down the toilet. the goddamn toilet itself.

they've been alive, the whole time. watching, listening, judging. there is nothing they do not know. they've seen and heard everything you thought was private.

think of all those moments you have when you're alone in your home. the things you would never let anyone else see. every gross, embarrassing, intimate, heartbroken, and painful moment. even your nightmares were laughing at you.

and you were never actually alone. for any of it.

those nights you cried yourself to sleep? your bed could feel your tears soaking into her.

that time you got so sick you spent the whole day on the bathroom floor? the floor could feel herself grow slippery with your sweat.

and it's not their fault, of course it isn't. i'm sure Betty would have held you if she could, stroking your back until you fell asleep. i'm sure florence would have gotten you a cool rag and a glass of water if she'd been able.

it's as much torture for them as it is for you.

maybe when you're mad your slam your doors. or maybe you throw your dirty clothes into a corner and wait too long to wash them again. maybe you once plugged in one too many things and blew a fuse.

and none of them, not dorian or dirk or eddie or volt were able to tell you that you were hurting them. they could only suffer and endure.

and that's not your fault. if you'd known they could feel, you'd have been much more careful. but you still hurt them all the same.

also almost every single one of them has probably seen you naked.

Aphrodite, Peitho and their army of winged gods

Anteros, god of requited love

There is two versions of his birth, one says that he is the son of Aphrodite and Ares and the other says he is the son of Poseidon and Nerites (A male nereid) I went for the ladder because it is more funny

Anteros avenges the unrequited love, because of that I wanted to give him a more serious look (I think I heard somewhere he is the emo brother of Eros and I never got over it). There are many things on his design there are meant to compliment Eros’, Anteros’ blue color scheme vs Eros’ pink, Anteros’ straight & dark hair vs Eros’ wavy & colorful.

He ties his hair with a net (Fishnet, you get it? hahaha…). Butterfly-like wings just like the statue. Guills, fins and scales because of how both of his parents are related with the sea, the orange is because of shrimp... (It makes sense I swear)

I HC him as left handed, also I think it is very funny how many arts there is of him wrestling Eros. The girls are fighting

Himeros, god of desire

Many of his designs choices are the same as Eros and Aphrodite so I am not going to explain much.

Eros’ twin brother so their clothes and colors are matching, they also have the same heart beauty mark. His pink is on a slightly lighter tone then his brother and mother because Himeros hangs out with Aphrodite less than Eros.

He doesn't have a hairstyle as tidy as Eros as I wanted to make him look more "laid back". Lipstick because I think he would love leaving kisses marks on people

Hymenaios, god of marriage

Minoan sun make up….

The necklace he is wearing frame around his neck like sun-rays. He puts flowers on his hair, this was inspired by the statue of him with Eros. I don't know if it is clear here but I HC him to be the tallest of the Erotes, because when he is portrayed with Eros many artists make him a teen/young adult while making the other a cherub, but also because marriage is the most mature aspect of love.

Loads of yellow and you probably can guess why… his father is Apollo, I took that information and ran with it

Hedylogos, god of flattery

(Oh boy.. why isn't there anything about him?)

I had to assume his mother is Aphrodite since it is never stated otherwise. Like the other children of Aphrodite his hair color lies on the pink/red tones. The strips of cloth around his chest are inspired by the only ancient reference I have of him (I find it absolutely hilarious that Aphrodite makes the Erotes pull her chariot, imagine the talk they had before they relented to her desires lol)

Silly hat inspired by a fresco, I think Hedylohos is quite deceitful sometimes (Flattery can be just a sweet lie) and since I gave my other two deceitful fellas hats (Hermes and Odysseus) I thought I could follow this trend by giving him a hat too (Moral of the story? Don't trust people with hats)

Hermaphroditus, god of intersex

The orange ribbon is a gift from his father Hermes and the pearls is a gift from Aphrodite. I wanted to make him look as if Hermes was an Erote, Hemaphroditus have the iconic wings on his head and a boyish look, the golden pattern on his chiton is a reference to the snakes of the caduceus

The vitiligo markings shows where Salmacis embraced him, it serves as an analogy of how he will never be able to get rid of the changes that the incident caused his body

Pothos, god of lomging

Pothos is another erote that sometimes is the son of Aphrodite and sometimes not. The version I went for this design is where he is the son of Iris and Zephir, the goddess of rainbow and the the god of the west wind.

I wanted to give him a lamb/dreamy look, his hair has a cloud consistency as his parents are both linked to the sky.

He is the only one I drew not looking at us, he is daydreaming, looking far away with longing eyes (see what I did there?)

Peitho, goddess of persuasion

MY GIRL I LOVE HER

Fin ears because her father is Oceanus, the father of the Oceanids, personifications of rivers

Some ocean/river gods (Like Poseidon) are described with having green hair, thats why I gave Peitho green hair

Same makeup as Aphrodite, they are best friends, they are matching. The hairstyle was supposed to be the same as that one vase art of Peitho. Pearls and shell necklace are a gift from Aphrodite.

Red eyes… Look I wanted to make her eyes’ color had some meaning so I searched “what is the color of persuasion” the first result I got was red and I just thought “yeah that sounds bout right” her mother is Ate so you could interpret it with how Ate is the goddess of blindness/error and how red is associated with being wrong…. but it is not that deep and I am just making stuff up xD

I made a tweet about how Six The Lamb and The Knight are little critters with massive amounts of aura but like the more I play the more I see resemblances like the memory of the Knight and that one scene in Little Nightmares 2...

Wondering who's the tallest between them now. Six is apparently 20cm, The Knight is bug sized, and The Lamb's height is unknown as far as I know but otherwise small in their universe. Plus I hc that they're short even for those standards (and I'm not the only one hehe)
