Do you have a fav Lupin rarepair?

I think my username precedes me here UM. but. heres a bunch of shitty scribbles. My fave rarepair me thinks is anyone else other than lupin with zenigata, but i think goezeni sits at the top of the zenigata pairings there because nobody gaf abt it. Earlier i reblogged art of them and omg the person who made that made the most mind exploding life changing comic thats also about them and you should read it. I dont think i can do the meta of goezeni justice so you get my strong-suit of horny comedy comics 💔

Fujiko and zenigata gossip buddies is a concept me and my bf find really amusing, and jigen is just a grade a freak for men bigger than him. MY OTHER TOP ANSWER IS LUPGOE. Like what are we doing where are they. Its really evil and a shame goemon gets so shafted in majority of lupin media. I really like what moments they get in part 1 (that peters off unfortunately) Part 5 was kind of crazy but #notcrazyenough👎Shouldve been more than like 2 episodes of exploration

And then the manga.. I think its a bit hilarious that there was such a role reversal like. In the manga goemon is more of lupins right hand man than jigen. Hes the one he always brings along or is relying on and jigens more of the "Hes there because theres supposed to be three of them" guy. Their camaraderie/friendship/respect is probably one of the most endearing parts of the manga hehe.

Ummm My conclusion is that I think they should let goemon be a character with feelings and relationships again its so fun and awesome when he is💗 - opinion from internet user goemonbooty

I have only watched the animated stuff so my jiglup thoughts are purely on the anime. I’ll have more when I read the manga. Also it’s not even my favorite standalone pairing outside of polygang I just have symptoms of the final stages of jiglup virus.

I like the different adaptations of how Lupin fits into changing Jigens life. I remember when me and my bf watched Lupin zero for the first time after rewatching WCFM for the second time. It was like the jiglup virus jumped from stage 2 to stage 7 immediately. The fact that depending on when Lupin comes into jigens life determines how he views his own and what his work means to him. Lupin zero Jigen eventually growing into what would be Part 1 Jigen is like mind numbingly sweet like he is so happy and joyous and smiles all around bcus he had Lupin in his life to early on vs most of the 2000s Jigen /wcfm where he met Lupin later in life and has faced so many pains and death. He’s still love and kindness just with the burden of everything horrible in the world ever.

Lupin finding the same thing he likes every time in Jigen no matter the adaptation is awesome. He’s got the Monkey D Luffy effect where someone so different from him fits perfectly into what he wants in life and he knows he’ll get them to share their life with his own goals in his own weird selfish but not way. Jiglup is my zolu . Lupins sense of living is contagious and it’s something you find yourself not able to live without no matter how much it clashes with your own way of being and I think anime Jigen has it BAD (cough mystery of mamo …. Ermmm anyway that’s all I can think of rn. I hope that suffices.

Looking through old lupin fanart and fan comics ive talked abt it with some friends but its kind of crazy how people would like. Woke their way into being misogynistic to fujiko😭 the struggle of having her as a favourite character and then theres like nothing ever of her interacting with anyone ever that isnt lupin (for the usual betrayal, usually for a joke) and occasionally goemon or jigen but thats sparingly (also usually for a joke)

What i mean by “wokeing into misogyny” is that i saw so much.. “they (the men) dont deserve her shes too beautiful” “shes too good to be around them” “she should be with a woman” “shes a lesbian” (crazy ass thing to say abt a canonically bisexual character😗)

Duh there should be more women in the series and fujiko should get to interact with them too but thats Not what people were doing👎 under the guise of thinking shes too good for the men or whatever All content would focus on the men anyway and shed just never be there.

Ofc that is mixed with just genuine outward misogyny and double standard about fujiko being deceiving and evil but like. Hello! THEYRE ALL CRIMINALS!!! Lupin wouldnt have the life he has without her actions being that way. WHO GAF! Trying to play the morality card when it comes to the lupin crew is so stupid lmfao

Its kind of insane and crazy to me that the woman called fujiko mine as a show Exists. I swore nobody ever spoke about it when its so thematically dense and id say the most interesting use of the characters and their dynamics since Mamo. ITS INSANE. OT BOGGLES MY MIND HOW INTERESTING IT IS AND THAT ITS NEVER BROUGHT UP ANYWHERE😭

The way with which it navigates displaying all of the mens misogyny (which is varying in levels) where it manifests in their interactions with fujiko and how it comes to frame their view of her vs the way fujiko lives her life, her self assured nature about who she is and what she wants to do, where the show never ever demonises her or punishes her for her actions in some kind of comeuppance how some of the older stuff would frame her vs the men (cough part 2 when theyd make her seem stupid and just blindly betraying lupin and then everything blows up in her face and all the guys go heh.. thats what she gets!)

The show displaying just what about all five makes them so engaging and endearing, what ends up making their group function, what drives each of their lives on a level that actually gives the time to their individual thought processes. All while centring it around how Fujiko navigates the four of them (not Lupin!) WHILE ALSO BEING A PREQUEL TO PART 1 is insane. When women get to write and direct Lupin🤯🤯🤯🤯

Anyway. All that to say. Crazy how the blueprint on why fujiko is important and how good she can be when written with care and with a womans perspective in mind is Right There its crazay that it doesnt seem to influence alot of fanwork. My opinion is that fujiko should actually be included in everything ever forever and she makes everything infinitely more interesting (crazy how the official media somehow does this better😐 im working on something myself to display what i mean about this tho)

OBSESSED with the tender way you draw Goemon interacting with Fujiko. Is he like that with the others too??

I just woke up so im like too lazy to go find more examples but. also should be here is goemon in part 2 and his gram gram recipes. I like that goemon is the only one who outwardly verbally expresses his care and feelings about his friends.

So I think he doesnt take his interactions with them lightly and when it would come to his intimacy hed be very. Normal. (he is also a Freak like the rest of them but he's Contained about it) And earnest methinks. His affection towards them would mean alot in his mind which is where the tenderness comes from.

Im just so fujigoepilled but i need to draw him doing these things with the others too. THIS GUY! LOVES HIS BEST FRIENDS!
