The Astronomer

The Astronomer is an excitable aquatic slugcat who barely ever takes off his 'astronaut helmet' (an ancient fish bowl Adventures came across on one of his excursions, hoping Astronomer may be able to get over their fear of drowning if they had it).

Astronomer has a great reputation with scavengers as he is happy to trade and draw with them. Astronomer's favorite past time is sneaking out of the facility at the end of each cycle to gaze up at the stars.

Their main purpose aboard the Borealis, is to maintain and keep the ship's drainage pipes clear to avoid blockages. He also however keep tabs, and reports on the movement of neuron flows in Five Choir's data banks.
