1965 Targa Florio. The Sicilian sunshine is beating down, and the Autodelta mechanics cannot help but take a momentary break from working on Cabral’s stricken car, much to the delight of the young race-goer who’s been afforded the chance to ogle the Alfa virtually uninterrupted. All that’s missing is a makeshift lunch and several bottles of Chianti (for the crew’s consumption, of course), and this could be the quintessential Italian snapshot.
