Global warming: how culture has affected the environment?
Environmental problems are all those that make it difficult to enjoy the human right to a healthy environment. Interestingly, it is the human being, by encouraging soil pollution or destroying habitats, who is making it difficult for this right to be effective. The culture of peoples has a direct influence on environmental deterioration, as it is reflected in the relations between individuals, society and nature. So culture and the environment are closely related. Environmental problems - which we ourselves have created - threaten our planet and all the current and future population. Without clean air and water, sufficient food or ecosystems rich in biodiversity, is it possible to guarantee their social rights? It is very important to know what those cultural actions have been caused many serious problems to the environment because it can help us to be aware that every small gesture matters:
1.Our abusive consumption: the large amount of waste aggravates global environmental problems: The growing consumption of disposable materials generates an enormous amount of waste that is, in great proportion, incinerated, with the consequent emission of gases. Responsible consumption is extremely important to curb climate change. In this sense the non-consumption and recycling is essential. Keep these ideas: -Try not to produce or reduce your daily waste. -Say "no" to the use of plastic plates, cutlery and straws. -Don't use plastic bags, use cloth bags.

2.The use of transport (motor vehicles): in the world of immediacy we forget to cycle or walk: Our pace of life is increasingly accelerated, which is why we avoid walking or cycling. However, we completely forget that cars emit 20% of total CO2, making it one of the most important sources of greenhouse gas. In this sense, walking or cycling is the solution. Stay with these ideas: -Avoid the bus when you are going short distances. -Remember that cycling is healthy and keeps you in shape. -If it is unavoidable to use a car, try to go with a full seat.

3.Our diet: it would be better to be low in carbon: A low-carbon diet means consuming more wisely and fighting climate change. -Reduces the consumption of meats -livestock is one of the biggest pollutants in the atmosphere- and increases the consumption of fruits, vegetables and greens. -Consume many seasonal products, to avoid other less sustainable modes of production. -Tries to consume more organic products, since less pesticides and other chemicals are used in their production.

4.Our commitment against the loss of forests: In the fight against climate change it is essential to seek protection of the forest mass: -Avoid practices that may pose a risk of fire such as barbecuing in a natural area. -If you have to buy wood, go for the one with certification or seal that ensures its sustainable origin. -Plant a tree. Each tree can absorb up to a ton of CO2, and in this way you will be contributing to the fight against climate change.
