Ideas for Toon buffs/reworks
Finn- ability reworked - Reel In (Active) - Cooldown 10 seconds, Consume a charge to gain a 33% Movement Speed boost for 10 seconds, gain a charge every time a Machine is completed, and can store up to 3 charges at once
Notes- Finn is very similar to Shelly in terms of stats and ability, so this rework is intended to emphasize his increased suriviability against Shelly's better extraction. This ability would combo well with the Pepermint Icing trinket, but wouldn't be overpowered.
Rodger - ability buffed - Reveals all Twisteds when a new floor arrives for 15 seconds (Additional Rodgers will increase the durration of this ability by 15 seconds each), and will count as a Twisted encounter for Rodger, giving the corresponding research and tapes of every twisted on the floor(In addition to original ability)
Notes - Rodger's abilty contributes very little to teams and Rodgers often gets in the way of distracting for research, so he is consequently unliked by the player base. This buff allows him to contribute to the team and gain research without interfering with distracting.
Razzle and Dazzle- ability reworked - Comedy/Tragedy (passive)- on odd floors gain two stars in Movement Speed, on even floors gain two stars in Extraction Speed (Does not lower the opposite stat to one star anymore)
Notes- Razzle and Dazzle's downside of lowering stats makes them extremely bad, as Dazzle has even worse survivability than Vee and Razzle can't use Pebble's Speak! to compensate their three star stealth. Because you aren't in control of when you have these stats, and are forced to play each one equally, you aren't able to use trinkets to fully support either playstyle without sacrificing trinkets for the other. Even with this rework, I don't think Razzle and Dazzle would be very good, as you still wouldn't be able to support both playstyles fully.
Poppy - ability buffed - Panic Pop (Passive) - when attacked, after 3 seconds gain a 20% speed boost for the rest of the floor (in addition to original ability)
Notes - Poppy's ability is very underwhelming, as she only gains the speed boost for 3 seconds. While her ability is made to escape bad situations, I think it would feel more impactful if her ability was expanded to help power through bad floors, such as floors with a large amount of Main Twisteds. Her speed boost per health lost is on par with Looey, and while it can stack even more through the use of healing items, it would only last one floor.
Vee - ability buffed - Mic Check (active) - Now reveals all uncompleted machines on the floor for all players, and will mark machines that are currently being extracted (in addition to original ability)
ability reworked - Low Brightness Mode (Passive) - When near a machine (completed or uncompleted), base stealth is set to 5 stars (the range is equal to Bobbette's Festive Aura)
Notes - Vee's stats are specialized into extraction, but because of her lower survivability, is forced to dedicate more time into avoiding twisteds, often making her extraction worse then Shelly unless you have a dedicated distractor avoiding you, especially when extracting from a machine. To compensate for this, her new passive would allow her to extract far more safely than other extractors, while still having a low survivability. Her ability to detect machines was added to her active ability.
Bobbette - ability reworked - Festive Aura (passive)- Now gives nearby toons a 15% speed boost when in Bobbett's aura
Notes - Bobbette's Festive Aura is very hard to use for anything more than short periods, as you can't tell who has low stamina, need to be very close to toons, and can't be near toons in chase without taking agro due to low stealth. The reworked passive allows you use your aura more effectively, as boosting movement speed for short periods is far move useful than stamina regen for short periods.
Eggson - ability reworked - Fixer Upper (Passive) - All machines start with 10% completion (increased by 5% for every additional Eggson)
Notes - Eggson's extraction is outclassed by Boxten's in every situation except when doing a solo run, as Eggson finishes a machine in 40.5 seconds while Boxten can finish machine in 40.18 seconds with a single other toon. This reworked ability allows Eggson to have more total extraction when in a group with other toons extracting, as Eggson and Boxten can't extract machines others are extracting from, but has a higher time per machine than Boxten. The decreased completion for additional Eggsons prevents 8 Eggsons stacking to instantly complete 80% of each machine.
