Hello everyone! The admin team has been talking and unfortunately we don't feel like we have the time to properly give the efforts and dedication that the group deserves. As such, the main is closing. Since we love this group and don't want to shut down entirely, we're making the switch from being tumblr based, to discord based. Cecelia’s existence was a mistake and she’d been told that her entire life. Her mother was only nineteen when she was charmed by a half-veela, a man nearly twice her age who used his beauty to prey on her. A one night stand that led to Cecelia’s birth, a bastard child and what was even worse was the fact that she was a girl. It wouldn’t have been so disappointing if the family was given an heir. But instead they were given Cecelia, at least the girl was beautiful.

Her mother, Evangeline, found a man that accepted the two of them and even gave Cecelia his last name. However, that was the only nice thing he’d ever done for her. After her brother Cedric was born, she was no longer the favourite. Ced was the real heir, the real child, the one that was planned. And Cecelia… Well, she was simply a ghost living in the halls of the manor. She quickly learned, after a few stern back hands, that she wasn’t to speak unless it was an emergency. She wasn’t to be seen unless she was asked to be seen. Her place was to be off in the sidelines, and the only thing she was useful for was her looks.

Hogwarts proved to be an interesting time in her life. She was expecting for things to be the same, that she could simply blend into the shadows of the Ravenclaw Common Room and get through without being noticed. That was not the case, however. Being part-veela, Cecelia had a charm about her that she realized quite quickly could be used to her advantage. People had a hard time keeping their eyes off her, and just about every female-attracted person seemed to be constantly fighting for her attention. She got used to it quite quickly, coming to accept that she would almost always have an entourage following her around.

It was, however, confusing. Cecelia could never tell if people liked her for her, or if they liked her charm. She could never tell who genuinely wanted to be her friend, and despite being surrounded by people all the time, she was incredibly lonely.

And things got even worse when boys decided it was okay to do things to her. They told her that she owed it to them, she wouldn’t look like that if she didn’t want it. She shouldn’t flirt with everyone if she didn’t expect this outcome. They were wrong, and Cecelia knew that, however she was quite small and easily overpowered. Sometimes she stopped fighting back, simply closing her eyes and waiting for it to be over. She hated men, she hated that they thought they would get away with this. They wouldn’t get away with it, Cecelia wasn’t going to let that happen.

Whispers through the castle caught her attention. A war, a fight for equality vs purity. Cecelia didn’t care what the fight was for, she knew she could use war as an excuse to get her revenge. An excuse, just like her abusers used on her. She’d gotten in with some of the Slytherin girls, a group of girls who actually wanted to be her friend. A group of girls who could bring her into their inner circles and let her have her revenge. 

Not being welcomed back at home now that she was considered an adult, Cecelia had to do what she could to survive. She began dancing at a club, her veela charm enticing many customers, oftentimes leaving for the end of the night with more money than she could even count. The club life proved to be the best thing that ever happened to her, especially when she’d run into familiar faces. She would dance for them, let them empty their wallets and most times she’d even go home with them. However when two people entered a room, Cecelia was often the only one to leave. They deserved it after what they’d done to her.

Despite having the Mark, she managed to keep herself out of Azkaban. Not very many people missed the men whose lives she’d taken and she managed to slip under the radar. Cecelia doesn’t plan on leaving the club life anytime soon considering she was making more than a liveable wage from her job.

BIOGRAPHY:

Mundungus Fletcher was born the illegitimate son of a trashy British pureblood wizard, and a French muggleborn witch. They met when he was on a years-long business trip for the ministry, and when they discovered she was pregnant she moved back to Britain with him. After returning home to a disapproving family, Fletcher’s father abandoned his mum before Fletcher was even born. His mum did her best to manage without him but despite her efforts they were poor, and she became sick. She died when Fletcher was seven, and from then on he grew up in a wixen orphanage. He didn’t remember ever knowing his father’s name, and couldn’t remember much about his mother either. Fletcher learned quickly not to put too much trust in any person, that it was safest to think only of his own needs. No matter where he went, he always felt displaced. The orphanage never felt like home, it was never able to feel permanent in any way, with other kids regularly coming and going. He was enrolled in Hogwarts through a random lottery offered by the orphanage, but even after he was sorted and settled into his dorm room, he couldn’t shake the feeling that he didn’t belong where he was. He couldn’t trust anyone other than himself to take care of him. He caused a lot of trouble during his time at the school, and he was inept at his studies. He failed out in the middle of his seventh year, choosing to drop out rather than take any more remedial studies. As hard as he’d tried, his mind had never taken well to schoolwork. He didn’t return to the orphanage, instead setting out on his own. From the age of seventeen, Fletcher’s life was solidly lived on the streets. Resourceful, small and quick on his feet as he was, and with a keen eye for valuable items, he found himself adept in the acquisition and trade of illegal goods. He crashed on friend’s couches and in the back rooms of various businesses who somehow managed to trust him while he worked on renovating a busted old train car that had happened into his possession, moving into it immediately once it was finished.

People who ran in the same circles as Fletcher knew how selfish and unreliable he was. Early on in his time on the streets, he’d had a partner who he had loved. He had claimed that he would do anything to keep them safe, but when it came down to it he threw them under the bus to save his own skin. They were caught doing a B&E job on a pureblood family estate that should have been empty at the time, with minimal magic in place to prevent any theft. When confronted, Fletcher ran. His partner was killed, a murder which would never see justice after the pureblood claimed it as self defense against a violent burglary. It was by sheer dumb luck that Albus Dumbledore happened to be investigating the property for what would later become the Order, and that he happened upon the scene in time to save Fletcher from meeting the same fate, or being thrown into Azkaban for it. After being saved by Dumbledore, Fletcher then owed the man his life.

If it weren’t for Dumbledore, Fletcher would never have taken as much part in the war as he did. Even working in the shadows, passing along information to the Order and the auror department alike was a much bigger risk than Fletcher would have otherwise taken for anyone other than himself. He was relieved when the war finally ended, but despite the fact that Dumbledore was dead, he continued to report regularly to the auror’s office with whatever news he heard through his darker dealings.

BIOGRAPHY:

Pandora Eleanor Greengrass is the youngest of three. From the moment she was born, there was something unique about the witch. One that was found marching to the beat of her own drum and found herself interested in the peculiar. There was a sudden deep love for magical creatures at a young age, that she often begged her parents to take her to the magical zoo. She could be found running bare foot outside through the woods or down by the water edge, lost in the beauty of nature.

She is the closest with her middle sibling, learning BSL at a young age to be able to communicate with them. Pandora always felt there was something different about them at a young age that it did not surprise her that they made the transition to Oz and loved him regardless. He was always the person she could turn to for advice and did not chastise her for being different. The two youngest of the Greengrass family did not live up to daddy dearest expectations of purebloods. That was left solely on their eldest, and heir, brother.

When it came time for Hogwarts, the sorting hat contemplated two different houses for her, teetering between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, that at the end, she was sorted into Ravenclaw. The love for knowledge, wit and intellect was true to who she was, despite being one that didn't mind thinking outside of the rules. It was here that she started her love for experimenting with spells and charms, seeing how far she could test the limits and what she could come up with. Pandora may have tested her professors patience one too many times.

It was in her seventh year that she found her true passion, magical creatures, that with some of her spells and enchantments, that she could help them. She excelled in her Owl's and Newt's and went off to study veterinary school for magical creatures. It was a place where she felt like she finally had a place and found it easier to talk to animals than people. They didn't judge her. During the war, Pandora remained neutral, aiding where she could but also found herself protecting innocent creatures that were in the crossfire, which led her into a situation where she went to protect a creature that she was hit with a spell, facing a near death experience, giving her the ability to see certain creatures now. With the end of the war, she has focused back on her work, her love for experimenting and trying to find a spell/enchantment that will help with her brother's hearing that he won't need to wear the hearing aids he has now.

BIOGRAPHY:

Born into Greecian Nobility, Xanthos was afforded every luxury growing up. His father’s family were some of the most respected in the country and are considered experts in the rearing of elite magical creatures, specialising in Unicorns and Pegasi of all species. His mother’s family were considered foremost experts on Wixen history and oversaw several Wixen museums and magical archaeological endeavours worldwide. Thus, it was no surprise that these two topics became Xanthos loves in life. Growing up, he found that unicorns in particular seemed to like him and before even attending his schooling he knew all there was to know of breeding, raising and caring for them.

It wasn’t till he attended Magisfalis Academy (riding in on his own Unicorn named Achilles) that his love for Wixen history began to grow- learning where they came from was crucial to moving forward and avoiding the repetition of mistakes; at his status, one couldn’t afford to make mistakes. Despite the pressure, he remained an affable young man who could most often be found in the library or school forest rather than on the Quidditch pitch- though managing magical creatures was a far better workout than riding on a broomstick to his mind.

His parents were keen for him to begin making the correct connections and alongside starting school, he was forced to start writing to a pen pal in the United Kingdom. Through their own connections, his parents had him begin corresponding with Rabastan Lestrange- a boy his own age of a respected, though not titled, family. Far from enthusiastic, Xanthos nevertheless did his duty and, to both boys’ surprise, they formed a fast and long-lasting friendship, often spending summers at one another’s homes. 

The connection turned out to be highly beneficial since, following his schooling, Xanthos became published for his historical studies and began training for a position as an ambassador to Britain’s Ministry of Magic. Throughout the Wixen War, Xanthos, and many other international Wixen, quietly withdrew until the dust settled and then promptly returned to their engagements. Currently, Xanthos splits his time between Greece and Britain, forging connections within the social elite of both communities, continuing his historical studies and ambassador duties and, should time permit, lending a hand to his father’s magical creature rearing.

A closed ceremony will take place at 2:00pm sharp on Friday, August 20th, 1982, in the Malfoy’s indoor orangery. A more open reception will follow shortly afterward in the Malfoy Manor ballroom and outdoor garden area, where entertainment and refreshments will be available. Lucius and Narcissa request that guests stick to a pastel palette when dressing for the occasion, though black would also be acceptable. White is forbidden to anyone who is not the bride herself. Wands and invitations will be checked before entering the premises to ensure that only invitation holders are present. Hello Members! Here is all you need to know about the wedding reception, everybody that was invited got a message in their inbox.

Locations:

Ballroom - An elegant ballroom located on the first floor of Malfoy manor, decorated in countless white roses and orange blossoms for the occasion. Local punk rock band The Weird Sisters will be playing a full set of planned covers, guests are invited to dance. Garden - A lush and quiet garden located directly out the open back doors of the ballroom, with space for guests to rest and mingle amongst themselves. Refreshments Pavilion - A big white marble pavilion with a glass top located in the center of the Malfoy manor’s back garden. Here you will find a seating area and all refreshments tables, catered by Greta’s Cheese Grotto and Gentle Confections. Cake and an assortment of other desserts will be served later in the evening after toasts to the newlywed couple. 

Backgate - An unscrupulous security team member enjoyed too much champagne during the wedding ceremony and left his post unguarded. This lapse in security wasn’t discovered until much later, allowing wedding crashers to enter the event.
