oh okay if we're playing that game, on top of being late and unmedicated:
the two other permanent staff in my room will be away today, so i will be on my own with two random casuals who do not know the children or the routine. we also do not have extra support for some of our higher needs children because, of course, that's only funded for the school term, not the "holidays", even though the program runs as per normal over the "holidays" and we still have all the same children in !
i also have to attend an unpaid meeting this evening for some union stuff, and while i am jazzed to support the union and my co-workers, i do not think this action will go anywhere or achieve anything and i am already exhausted. this means i won't get home until probably after 8. whatever happened to the whole 8/8/8 ? where are my hours of play?
#on the positive i bought some mandarins and some teeny tiny nashi pears from the market this morning#and i have my socks to knit and i'm loved and yadda yadda all that

my housemate is knitting and T is knitting and em is always, always knitting and it is inspiring me to go through my yarn and start to knit my way through it. i'm going to start getting rid of stuff as well and making space for fleece and fibre. i am not realistically going to knit all of this yarn! i have never really liked half of it!

should be about 280gm of corriedale singles, if i keep going without plying for too much longer i have to use the bobbins i like less or, idk, buy more bobbins, but i feel like i have enough bobbins. there's something satisfying and efficient about this as opposed to little dinky 11gm spindle cobs that have to be unwound constantly to free up equipment
