Hello hello! I am once again back to strain my fingers and so-called “bilingual” brain with yet another unknown-outside-of-China drama, Song of Life (三悦有了新工作, lit. Sanyue Has a New Job).

Produced by our dear Bilibili, this 13-episode webdrama covers the Millennial/Gen Z struggles of finding purpose in life by following Zhao Sanyue as she goes from freeloader to working as a mortuary makeup artist at a funeral parlor. I just watched/subbed the first episode and cried as I went. So it seems like it’ll be a fun ride :)
