Part I Part II Part III
warning: slight nsfw lol
It’s been almost two years and some months since you and Sawamura made your relationship official, and then about 9 months since he proposed to you. There has been a lot, and I mean a lot of adjustments you both had to make in order for this relationship to grow. A lot of arguing, crying, forgiving, and fucking your differences out. Both of you still have very deep wounds that have not completely healed, heck, maybe will never heal– that’s why you both always give your best, always putting in 100/0 effort.. Your parents love Sawamura, although they questioned why you would put 100/0 effort when something could happen.. afraid of what’s happened before, but they understood once you told them that you don’t expect anything back, you love him and that’s all that mattered– and he felt the exact same way.
0832 - Sunday morning
As the sun beamed through the blinds, you felt the warmth gradually increase onto your face. Looking to the other side of the bed, you saw him. The one man that made the pain of your late daughter, less painful.
“Good morning, my beautiful wife.” he quietly cooed
“Were you just watching me sleep?” a small chuckle left your lips as you sat up to stretch, bringing his shirt to lift over your stomach.
“As I do every morning, what can I say? I have the most beautiful woman sleeping next to me.”
“Yeah yeah, do you want coffee? I’m going to make myself some tea” you asked while standing and looking back at him seeing him nod.
Walking down the hallway, you peek into Manami’s room to check if she was still sleeping, knowing she’s likely to be knocked out. “As I thought, out like a light.. Maybe I’ll surprise her with pancakes.” You thought closing the door
Sawamura trailed behind you to join you.
“How is my second baby doing anyway?” He asked while rubbing her belly“Mm, she’s fine, moving a lot this week but that’s to be expected, I do only have a little more than 2 months left until her due date.” putting your hand on his you smiled softly.
7 months prior
Sawamura sat you down and asked how you felt on having another child now that you were married.
“I understand if you’re on edge about it.. I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately– I just didn’t kno–”
“I– am nervous.” You said cutting him off“I have been thinking about it.. I am just afraid, that I’ll lose another.. Lose you. You already know after I got pregnant with Nori that he left.. I just don’t want you to leave either.” you said stuttering, you felt the tears welling up around your eyes“I’m not like him, and you know that! I would never leave you! Y/n, you make me feel something, happiness that I haven’t felt since Kayo.. you brought happiness to Manami!” he exclaimed, feeling the tears as well. “I’m dedicated to you. And only you.”
“.. And Manami.” you laughed trying to lighten the mood. “Alright, physically, I am ready to bare another child, mentally, I am still afraid, but not as much now..”
Seeing that it would be a bit difficult to try for a baby with Manami around, you both decided to drop her with her grandparents for a little more than a week, as a ‘vacation’ for her. Thrilled she was more than okay with it considering Daichis parents had a dog.
After that, for the entire 8 days she was away, you both used any time (and anywhere) you could to try to have sex. “You think that was enough?” He said panting “I’m pretty sure the amount of cum I pumped into you over the week could amount to an entire gallon.”
Laughing, you looked at him and then down to your swollen pussy lips “Maybe, I guess we’ll find out in a couple weeks. If not, I mean your parents love having Nami over.”
A couple weeks later, it was official. You held the pregnancy test in your hand showing the clear plus sign. “I’m pregnant..” you thought thinking back to when you found out you were pregnant with Nori.Sawamura then found you crying on the bed because of it. Your fears and anxiety were getting the best of you, and it was hard since now that it’s real. It feels like this is an attempt to replace Nori. And he knew you thought that too since that’s what he felt when he met you, like he was replacing Kayo- it wasn’t that though.. This was and is you both healing wounds that have taken charge of your your lives since the tragedy happened.
Turning to him, tears flowing down your red tinted face “I’m pregnant… and most of all, scared..” He sat down next to you and hugged you tight, bringing your body onto his lap and kissing you everywhere.“It’s alright to feel the way you do. I felt the same when I realized I loved you. It hurts, it feels wrong, but it also feels right.” he said bringing your chin so you could look at him He had a point, before the thoughts ran through your head, you felt happiness seeing that plus sign glow on that pregnancy test.
Back to present day
1047 - Sunday morning
”Darling, can you finally wake that daughter of ours to come eat? I made pancakes!” you giggled “Yes, I’ll go fetch her.” he said walking towards her room
Peeking into her room, “Manami? You up?” “Kind of daddy, I smelled pancakes.. Did mommy make.. pancakes?” she queitly said under the blanket half asleep waiting for a confirmation“Yes. thats right, she did make them.. the chocolate ones too.”
Immediately, she jumps out of bed and runs towards the bathroom to freshen up “OKAY IM COMING!” she yelled out while visibly trying to rushYou set the plate of freshly made chocolate chip pancakes at the table and started to make everyone’s plate. Before you know it, Manami is sitting in her chair with fork and knife in hand impatiently waiting for her plate“GOOD MORNING MOMMY! I AM HERE TO EAT!” she shouted as Daichi sat down next to you“Well good morning pretty girl, you seem very energetic this morning.”“THAT’S BECAUSE MOMMY MADE ME PANCAKES! I LOVE PANCAKES” “Yes I sure do know that little one. Go on and eat up my love.” you said smiling softly while putting her plate in front of her and giving Daichi his
Sitting down, you rubbed your belly and sipped your tea. Looking at your two loves, you couldn’t help but think “How could I be so lucky with a family like mine..”

I don’t know why but i’m so... happy that he showed up more in the manga and in the anime! I recently brought myself to finish the last of the manga (that’s how much i was uninterested at the time i went AWOL). I do apologize to everyone who follows this blog who had submitted requests during that time and so they were never answered. And to everyone who never unfollowed us (probably because didn’t realize LOL) i thank you guys too for sticking around. I am going to be writing again, please be patient with me as I’m getting back into it again and need time to really collect my thoughts. haha. 42+kuroo for the drabble challenge please!
“Stop being so cute.”
Sitting at the coffee shop, you were having a study date with your bestfriend Kuroo. Twirling your pencil around, you couldn't get a problem right. Furrowing your eyebrows, you started to purse your lips.
Looking up from his English book, Kuroo slanted his glasses down to stare at you. You felt eyes on you so you look up just slightly. Looking at him, you tilted your head. “What?” you asked him.
“Stop being so cute.” he snickered as he crossed his legs.
“What do you mean?” you pouted and sipped your coffee. “Nooooothing.” he cooed as he went back to reading.
“You're a real jerk sometimes, you know that boy?” you said sighing and smiling at your annoying boyfriend.
“Yeah, but you love this jerk.” he said winking at you then looking back to his book.

#76 for tsukushima hahahaha
“Please put your penis away.”
Tsukishima was not a drinker, actually, he really hated drinks.. But after you had broken up with him, vodka seemed to become his bestfriend. After many shots, thirteen? twenty? he couldn't remember... He slowly and wobbly walked to your house. Knocking obnoxiously loud, you answered. “Kei?! What are you doing here? Its two in the morning?!” you said pulling your robe over you.
“I miss you ____.” he said hiccuping.“Kei, your words are slurring..” smelling him, you backed up. “Have you been drinking?!” you said pulling him in cause you don't want your neighbors to wake up from him cause ruckus.
He looked at you and he had to focus his vision. “You're so pretty.” he said hiccuping again.
You looked down and covered your eyes. “Kei Tsukishima! How indecent of you!? Please put your penis away!” you chided  at him.
Looking down, nothing was registering but whatever you said, he understood enough to do it. Putting it back in his pants he looked at you and fixed his glasses sloppily.
Sighing deeply, you took his glasses off and dragged him to your bed. “We’re going to sleep and you are shutting up until the morning. Do you understand?” you said firmly.
A slight nod was all he could give before drifted off laying his head on your stomach, your gentle touch rubbing his head.

71 with Ushijima please~
“I want a pet.”
Smashing your face into a glass that was the only thing between you and a cute kitten, your boyfriend Wakatoshi stared at you confused. “What are you doing?” he asked standing behind you
“I want a pet!” you cooed at your towering boyfriend. “What.” he said bluntly“I want a pet.” you said smiling nervously. Wakatoshi looked at you then to the kitten that was nuzzling on the window to you. With a sigh he looked at you and nodded. “Fine. We can get a kitten. But I don't want anything to do with it.” he said walking in
Jumping and cheering to yourself, you chased after him about to get a new love of your life! And of course, with a little persuading, you could get your boyfriend to be a part of the kittens life too.

55 and Kenma please (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)
“You’re a nerd.”
Studying for your chemistry final, you were planted on your bed. Kenma was over because he calmed you down when you were anxious for an important exam.
“You’re a nerd.” he said playing on his PSP. Looking at him you blew a raspberry. “I’m the nerd? Okay, bigger nerd.” you said looking from him to his PSP. Hiding it to his side he looked at you, “I don't know what you're talking about.”
“Yeah, sure you don't.” you said laughing at him.

6 and 28 where Kuroo's shy af crush gives a drunk confession? Idk how they got drunk but I'll leave the creative genius to you 😘😅 Thanks!
“I need a place to stay.”“How drunk was I?”
Invited to a party, you were hesitant to go, you weren't that type of person to willingly go to a party that involved drinking. But, your bestfriend somehow persuaded you and there you were... Eight shots into the night and a lot of blurred vision.
You couldn't find your bestfriend and you were ready to go home.. But she had the keys and you couldn't remember where you lived. Walking around aimlessly forgetting who you were looking for, you bumped into Kuroo, your crush.
“H-hey ____-chan.” he stuttered.
“Kuroo-kun.. I need a place to stay.” you said smiling adorably to the lanky man. Nodding hastily, he picked you up and walked to his apartment which was two minutes away from the party. He kicked closed the door and set you in his bed and covered you. About to walk out, you grabbed his hand from under the sheets.
“Kuroo-kun, I’ve liked you for so long.. But I’m just so shy that I could never say it... *hiccup* It would be so cool if you liked me back.. ya know? You're so cute, and your hair is wicked fresh.” you said giggling knocking out right after.
The next morning you woke up with a raging headache. Opening your eyes, you saw bed sheets that werner yours, and the smell of the room was so familiar? It was your favorite smell yet you couldn't pinpoint what it was from? Kuroo walked in with an apron on. “Hungry?” he said smiling.
Nodding your head, his presence wasn't registering. “Oh, thats the smell.” you thought. A few seconds later, your eyes widened and you hid under the covers. “Why am I here?! Wait... How much did I drink last night?!” you said out loud.
“About eight shots of fire ball.” he answered for you. Peeping your head out you hit your head. “And I asked if I can come over... Didn't i...?” you said shameful.
Kuroo raised his eyebrow at you “My hair is wicked fresh?” he snickered.
“How drunk was I?” you asked getting up and drinking the water he handed to you.
“Pretty damn drunk, but it wasn't for nothing. I like you too, I’ve had a crush on you for awhile... ____-chaaaan.” he cooed while walking back out to the kitchen.
You looked at him and tilted your head then your eyes widened again. “DID I CONFESS TO YOU LAST NIGHT?!” you yelled out running after him.
“I don't know? Maybe?” he snickered running away from you smiling.

Terushima with 29?
“How is my wife more badass than me?”
All Terushima could remember was a guy groping his girlfriend, you flipping him over your back and then him on the ground. Looking at you, you were telling the man off.
“How is my wife more badass than me?” he thought in his head as he realized what just happened.
Walking over to him, you grabbed his wrist and walked away. It was silent, other than the noises your bodies made while walking down the street. “Baby? Where did you learn that?” he said breaking the silence.
“You learn a few things growing up with a jerk of a brother who always wants to pick a fight.” you said winking.
“Remind me never to piss you off.” he said laughing.

8 and Bokuto for the Drabble challenge pleaseee
“You’re seriously like a man-child.”
“You're seriously like a man-child.” you deadpanned at your boyfriend who was blatantly riding a child’s play-thing. “What do you mean?! Its for everyone!” he yelled out laughing. “Yeah, everyone ages 8 and under!” you said pointing at a sign that literally stated that.
Bokuto looked at the sign and shrugged, getting up, he pulled out a Sharpie and added a 1 before the 8. “There.... everyone ages 18 and under! I’m 18!” he giggled as he went to go back sit down.
“You've got to be kidding me.” you said snickering. “You, are, a, child!”
“Yeah? Your child!” he said rocking back and forth on the spring rider.

12 and 60 with Iwa-kun and his s/o where they have a fight so the s/o leaves to a friends place cause they hate confrontations but Iwa goes there later to work things out? Soft hugs and kisses at the end? (And soft hugs and kisses for you)
12. “She’s hiding behind the sofa.”60. “Are you going to talk to me?”
Walking to your bestfriends house, Iwaizumi was trying to put together something he could say to you after the heated argument you guys had an hour earlier. Walking up to her door, he knocked softly. Your friend Natsu answered and sighed deeply. “She's hiding behind the sofa.” she said pointing towards the love seat.
Nodding, he walked over and looked behind it. There sat you. Hugging your knees, you looked up and just look back to the wall. Iwaizumi sat next to you and stared at the wall too. Neither of you broke the silence. Why should you? It was him who was being a little jerk about not telling a girl he was in a relationship when she was clearly flirting with him. At least ten minute passed in utter silence.
“Are you going to talk to me?” you asked still lookin at the wall. “I was still trying to figure out what to say.. I know why you're mad and it was my fault.. I’m in the wrong here, and I’m sorry.” he said looking at you with apologetic eyes.
You looked over at him and smiled, “Good, you know why I was angry at you.” you said leaning and looking at his lips. Iwaizumi leaned forward and closed the gap, soft lips kissed yours, and a strong calloused hand was so gently placed onto your neck. He was the only man who could make you melt.
After the passionate kiss, he pulled you into his arms and hugged you so tenderly. “I’m sorry, I’ll be more aware.” he said quietly into your ear.
“Good, I hate when girls flirt with you so shamelessly.” you said chuckling and rubbing his back.

#13 for Bokuto pls! :3
13. “I lost our baby.”
You walked into your home from grocery shopping, thirty minutes, you were gone for thirty minutes. Walking into the kitchen, you saw your husband Bokuto on his hands and knees looking under the couch.
“Baby? What are you doing?” you asked slowly putting the grocery bags done. “Uhh, I lost our baby...” he said chuckling nervously.
Blinking at him, you walked over and smacked the back of his head. “I wasn't even gone for an hour and you somehow managed to lose Rin?”
Seconds later a little girl came running from the bathroom. “Mommy!” the three year old yelled.
Whatever she did in there, you're cleaning it up.” you scolded him while picking her up.
“Y-yes ma'am” he said low and apologetic walking to the bathroom that was absolutely trashed.

Aww, can I pretty please request a super fluffy Kuroo scenario where his shy s/o asks him if she can stay the night because it's raining and she can't leave? 😚
look,, i like to call myself a professional at angst because it’s my ultimate favourite genre to write but after this i am reconsidering my branding. this was so fluffy and sweet i think i have a toothache and this made me want a relationship T.T
Walking home from school with Kuroo, you noticed grey clouds began moving in, often the sign of heavy downpour later. You chewed your lip, for this had not been forecasted and hoped it would be a lingering moment as you did not have an umbrella and if you were to walk home from Kuroo’s house, it would be extremely dangerous. But, you were an optimist so you hoped the clouds would pass.
Kuroo’s house was not too far from the train station, yet quite a distance from where you lived. Ever since you first visited his house, you were rather disappointed about the distance because you two would only share a stop before he parted at the second and you departed at the sixth stop. However, you quite enjoyed being in the vicinity of his neighbourhood, for his was a friendly and eventful neighbourhood.
Many of the senior citizens, who could afford to stay in shape were good friends with Kuroo often giving him (and you) volleyball tips. The children that played in the playgrounds on a daily basis knew Kuroo extremely well and would often request for him to teach them volleyball. It was a neighbourhood you wouldn’t mind living in, in the future.
“Looks like those clouds were just only at our school,” Kuroo remarked, staring up at the extremely clear evening sky. The sun was slowly setting, casting darker orange hues across the sky as you walked into his home. “I’m home!” he called. “_______’s here too!”
There was a flurry of footsteps and you saw the paper doors open to reveal Kuroo’s little sister, Hana, grinning widely. “_______-san!” she greeted, hugging your knees. You grew fond for Kuroo’s younger sister the moment you met her, and in fact, you were dating him the day she was born. Hana was a young toddler of three, and you and Kuroo were already dating in your first year in Nekoma.
Settling in Kuroo’s room, the two of you set about to do the work that was planned for today. As exams were coming up, you were determined to score straight A’s for your last streak was broken by an unfortunate B in Chemistry. You were lucky to have Kuroo, who was a genius in Chemistry and had notes worthy to be research papers.
You tried your very best to listen to Kuroo tutor you, for he was the best student to tutor anyone in Chemistry and even your Chemistry teacher knew that. However, with him being your boyfriend, you were still distracted. “Tetsu,” you cooed, lying down on the table and staring up at him.
“_________,” he said, maintaining a serious look on his face.
You pouted and pushed yourself up from the table. “You’re no fun,” you teased.
“Do you want an A in Chemistry or not?” he asked and you immediately dropped your teasing and focused on electrolysis, a topic you detested the most but Kuroo enjoyed teaching for he spoke about cathodes and anodes with a passionate glint in his eye, the same way he talks about volleyball.
Just as you began packing up, you began to hear the dreaded thunder. It boomed loudly outside Kuroo’s house to the extent the light flickered slightly. From the window, you could see lightning not too far away and you bit your lip. This was going to be a harsh rain and you hoped that whilst having dinner with Kuroo’s family, the rain would die down and you would be able to walk home with the shelter of an umbrella.
However, the rain had not accommodate your requests, for as you began dinner with Kuroo’s family, the rain thundered against the windows loudly, and the thunder didn’t seem to stop. With a worried look, you watched the pouring rain blurring the view of whatever was outside, but you could see the harsh wind practically slicing leaves off the trees and bending them at angles that you never knew was possible.
But you didn’t want to trouble Kuroo, so you decided that you would brave through this storm. “Tetsu, do you have an umbrella? I think I better start heading back,” you said quietly as his mother cleaned the plates behind.
Kuroo snorted. “As if I would let you out alone in the rain like this,” he snorted.
With a blush on your face, you quietly asked if you could stay the night. And Kuroo, being the giant tease he was, decided to ask you to repeat your request, a little louder. “What? Sorry, didn’t quite catch that,” he teased.
His mother was in the vicinity when he made you repeat and with an even darker blush, you repeated yourself. “Can I stay the night?” you asked, a little louder, knowing well enough that Kuroo could hear it and possibly his mother.
“You’re so cute when you’re shy,” Kuroo smirked, kissing your forehead. In a nonchalant way, he tapped his mother’s shoulder and you could feel your cheeks literally burning from the embarrassment. In your three years of dating, never once did you sleep over at Kuroo’s house and vice versa. You were often too shy to bring up such a request that could imply something more risque than the original meaning. “Mom, ______’s sleeping over tonight yeah,”
“My my _________, all grown up now, asking for such,” Kuroo’s mother teased and you covered your face to hide the redness. Teasing seemed to run in the family, for his mother too shared the same teasing tone that was constant in her son. “Of course you may! You’re practically family now,” she smiled. “Now, I think I have something comfortable for you to wear,”
Kuroo’s mother shuffled off to her room and returned with a simple pair of shorts, sending you a wink which made you blush even furiously. You were not surprised by Kuroo’s mother teasing, knowing that she was a young mother only in her late thirties and according to stories she tell during family gatherings, she was quite a wild teenager.
You returned to Kuroo’s room holding his mother’s old shorts. “So what did my mom give you?” he asked, lying from his bed. You held up a pair of shorts.
“Just this, and a wink,” you answered quietly, staring at the floor. The bed groaned and you felt a soft material covering your face. Kuroo had plopped a t-shirt onto your face and you washed up quickly and changed into those fresh clothes, thankful to escape from your school uniform.
With Kuroo being a six foot giant, his shirt hung loosely on you, the sleeves coming down to your elbows and slightly further, and the shirt stopping at your thighs, almost covering the shorts. It smelt exactly like him and you planned to secretly steal this shirt to wear at home, in case you missed him too much. You washed up and stepped back out, hoping for a good night sleep.
“I always thought that shirt looked great on me, but you look better in it,” Kuroo smirked from the bed. You blushed and lightly slapped his shoulder.
“So where’s your mattress?” you asked, seating yourself on Kuroo’s bed for the time being.
Kuroo raised an eyebrow and patted his own bed. “Here?”
“I mean-” you began and you realised he was being completely serious, and another blush crept onto your face. Even though it was cold and rainy outside, you felt like you were on fire. “Are you, really?”
“You’re so shy, it’s adorable,” Kuroo smiled, pulling you closer to him and leaning against his bedframe. “We’ve been dating for three years, the only time I’ll bite you is when I kiss you,” he chuckled after noticing that you were still quite stiff against him and kissed you. And for good measure, he nibbled slightly on your bottom lip in which you let out a tiny squeal.
“Tetsu-kun your sister is only three!” you heard his mother yell from outside and the two of you broke away rather quickly and you snuggled under the covers, which were extremely warm. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled him closer against his body. Kuroo felt warm pressed up against you and you weren’t complaining, this was something you could get used to.
“By the way, you’re not the first person that’s been in my bed,” Kuroo whispered. You suddenly pulled away and glared at him. “I’m sorry, but it was Bokuto,” he broke into a smile in which you whacked his chest lightly and snuggled back up against him.
“I’m assuming he said ‘no homo’ and wrapped his legs around you,” you remarked in a teasing tone.
“Surprisingly enough, you are right,” Kuroo murmured. “Goodnight _______, I love you,” he whispered before dozing off with a light snore.
“I love you too Tetsu,” you smiled to yourself, shutting your eyes for the most peaceful sleep in your life.

Like ur recent imagine. Can u write one like that except the guys turn into (animal) and theyre paniking, go out to look 4 so n clingds to them, finds (animal) as she walks home n want to keeps it except when she gets home they turn to be the guys?
aaa i got a little lazy to write for kenma & lev,, but if you want one just send another request in for them! this is a harry potter! au , but of course with different professors
BOKUTO:
Bokuto should’ve have listened to Professor Yamamoto when he said to never get drunk whilst learning to become an Animagus because one will end up slipping in and out of the form. But here he was, along with Akaashi and the other ex-third years in Gryffindor, having the time of their lives drinking Firewhiskey and partying.
He had dropped by the school to congratulate Gryffindor on their win, for he used to be in Gryffindor, and somehow got carried away with the after party that Gryffindor threw. Akaashi had walked him up to the entrance of the school, when he brushed his help aside and claimed he could search for you by himself.
That was before he slipped into his Animagus state, within seconds after Akaashi left and he was confused as hell. Panicking in his owl form did not help because all he could do was hoot and flap his wings about. The castle doors were already shut and he frantically flew around the castle windows in hopes to grab your attention but failed.
You were there too, catching up with old Slytherin friends. It was a miracle how you and Bokuto started dating, being from different houses and but now in the same university of magic. As the night began to slowly draw to a close, you began walking to the Gryffindor dorms in search for your boyfriend as you were still rather sober and would be able to Apparate home without a single problem, if you could find your boyfriend.
Turning up to the Gryffindor dorm, Akaashi told you that Bokuto had already left, which greatly puzzled you as you walked out of the castle. Most professors turned a blind eye to whatever parties the houses were having as it was the weekend and after their important exams such as N.E.W.T.S and O.W.L.S.
Bokuto’s phone was not ringing either, which worried you as you stepped out of the castle. That’s when you noticed an owl perched upside down on a tree. It suddenly woke up at the sound of your shoes crunching against the leaves and flew around you dizzily. The owl was not in a very normal state, for you had learnt care of magical creatures in school, and began to call out for the owl.
It seems that you need not call out for it, for it perched on your arm, unwilling to let go. Its talons dug into your skin, which you flinched at because when handling owls, one needed to wear protective gloves. With a steady hand, you Apparated home and suddenly, you felt a giant weight on your hand and you fell to the ground.
Instead of the owl, it was Bokuto lying on the floor, mildly dazed. “When the hell did you get home? And where’s the owl?” you demanded, rubbing your sore arm.
Not only was your arm sore, there were talon marks from the owl and you knew it was going to hurt like crazy if you didn’t heal it now. “Episkey,” you whispered, pointing your wand and the marks slowly cleared up and the pain subsided.
“_________, do you know what an Animagus is?” Bokuto asked meekly, still rubbing his back from where the two of you fell after you Apparated. You nodded and began to put piece by piece together and realised how you have an idiot of a boyfriend.
“You got drunk and slipped into your Animagus state didn’t you?”
Bokuto nodded, still smiling. “Do you know how dangerous that could be?” you chided. “Imagine if I had not left the castle, God knows what you could’ve done as a drunk Animagus!” Bokuto’s smile slowly faded away and you quickly pulled him into a hug. “Just, don’t get too drunk whenever I’m not around okay?” you whispered, hugging him tightly.
“Promise,”
KUROO:
Kuroo had kept being an Animagus a secret from you, in hopes one day it would be useful in scaring you around the house for jokes. However, that plan brilliantly backfired in an attempt to spook you during Halloween by turning into a cat, and you personally were afraid of cats. You were in one of the stores, purchasing something for dinner when Kuroo decided it would be a brilliant idea to turn into a cat and waited outside for you.
When you left the store, carrying a handful of bags, you had a confused look on your face. “Tetsu?” you called. Kuroo decided now wasn’t the time for jokes and attempted to turn back into human, when he realised how it backfired and now he was stuck as a cat. He mewed at you, attempting to gain your attention when you screamed at the sight of him.
You took to your heels, running back into the store to make a phone call. Kuroo could feel his phone buzzing, despite being in Animagus state and as a cat, it would be rather absurd if he could answer the phone call right? Kuroo started to feel guilty watching you from outside for a look of worry was on your face and he was the reason behind it.
“Whatever, I’m going to go home. I’ll kill him I swear,” you muttered to yourself, stepping back outside and the black cat was still waiting for you. “Shoo! Go away!” but the cat refused, rubbing its body against your legs. You shuddered and it flicked its tail against your leg. You hated cats with a burning passion but there was something about this one that didn’t seem as harmful as the other cats you had encountered.
You decided to pick it up and place it in your hoodie pocket. Knowing Kuroo was rather fond of cats, you decided to bring this one home then take it to an animal shelter because there was no way the two of you were able to take care of another living thing, just look at Kuroo for example.
The cat mewed happily in your hoodie pocket and began pawing at your arm. “What do you want?” you demanded rather angrily for you were left carrying two large shopping bags of groceries and Kuroo had disappeared to God knows where.
If you were in the wizarding world, you would’ve already used magic to carry these heavy bags but instead, you were in the Muggle world where use of magic was strictly forbidden because the two of you wanted to settle for a ‘different experience’.
Climbing up your apartment, you dropped the grocery bags onto the floor with a loud thud and a relieved sigh. The cat hopped out of your hoodie pocket and you saw the cat shift from a small black domestic cat to your boyfriend. He landed with a thud on the floor and groaned, pushing himself up.
“I always knew you loved cats but I didn’t know you were that obsessed with them until you had to become one,” you stated sarcastically, leaning against the door. Kuroo rubbed his sore jaw and stood up sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. “Well, do I deserve an explanation?”
“First things first _________, I’m an Animagus,” Kuroo began.
“I can tell,” you answered snappily. You were not in a particularly good mood already and Kuroo was still messing around.
“And I decided it would be a great idea to turn myself into an Animagus because it’s Halloween and I wanted to scare you,” he explained, looking down at the ground whenever he grew worried.
“Well you did a good job at that,” you stated. “Of all the Animagus, did it have to be a cat?” you asked, your mood slowly returning back to normal.
Kuroo smirked. “What can I say, I sure live up to my Slytherin title, and you’re still a prim and proper Ravenclaw,”
“Don’t diss ravens,” you teased, flicking your wand and shooting a tickling curse in his direction. Kuroo began to erupt in giggles and drop to the ground.
“_______ I swear,” he began, but was unable to speak further due to the giggles. “Stop it!”
“It’s punishment for you Tetsu,” you smirked. “You’re not the only one who can play jokes in this house.”

hanahaki disease (bokuto ver.)
this is for the lovely ever @jonin-goddess , also known as admin owl! she’s the most adorable human bean and the best partner in crime for these imagines <3 i hope you like this alex-san ^.^
also, this turned out wayyyyy longer than i had anticipated, and i’m assuming it is as long as a fic because 1) i love bokuto 2) i love royal! aus (oop spoilter hehe) i’ve placed it under the cut so that it wouldn’t be one giant chunk, i hope the rest of you enjoy this as well!
In the Land of the Rising Sun, people were segregated by the infamous social hierarchy of the rich and the poor. The rich were often born rich, and remained rich throughout their entire lives, spending their money lavishly on exotic items and balls. The poor, were born poor and remained poor forever, often working arduously for a living, or working for the rich.
Bokuto Koutarou was lucky. He was born into royalty, with his father being the king of the land. The Bokuto’s have been ruling ever since the land was discovered, and thus they remained rulers of the land.
You, were not as lucky. Born into a poor family, your mother worked tirelessly at the palace to keep you warm. Your other siblings weren’t as lucky as you, for they died in childbirth with you being the last one of your family. You lived in the palace, where the Bokuto’s had built and lived lavishly as the daughter of one of the servants. The previous queen had been kind enough to allow you and your mother to stay, thus with you working hard alongside your mother to earn your keep in the palace.
It so happens that the second queen of the palace had a son, which was your age but slightly younger by a few months. He was the spitting unique image of his father, save his hair which had streaks of white resembling salt and pepper. He was pampered splendidly by his parents, whilst you watched and served from the sidelines.
But he could not remain lonely for long. For Bokuto grew curious, just like any other child and wandered around the palace in search for a friend. It was fate that you had bumped into him whilst cleaning the corridors. He had bent over you whilst you scrubbed the floor, only seven at that time, “Why are you cleaning the floors? Shouldn’t you be playing outside?”
You had sighed and smiled sadly up to him, “Young prince, I am just a servant,” you answered his question.
He groaned and knelt down to your level, hugging his knees. “Do you take orders?” he asked, with a small twinkle in his eye.
You nodded, resuming the cleaning. “Then, as prince, I order you to come and play with me.” he requested in a firm voice, yet it came out slightly squeaky resulting in you giggling lightly. “It’s an order! From the prince!”
Chewing your lip, you placed the cloth back into the bucket. “Okay, but just for a while alright?” Bokuto grinned widely and took your hand, running out of the dusty and empty castle into the royal gardens. It was well maintained once by your father, who had been the royal gardener but died valiantly in a war to protect the land from rebels. Now, the garden was under your mother’s and a few other servants care. Sure it was flourishing, but it was not as beautiful as your father had once tended it to.
“Let me take you to my favourite part of the gardens,” Bokuto suggested, tugging your arm. You decided to entertain him, for you had already wandered about the garden many times before. You had only been recently ordered to become a servant, which meant you had five beautiful years of an innocent and carefree childhood before adapting to the life of a servant. Bokuto had taken you past the koi ponds, where the koi fish glistened under the afternoon sun, and past the blossoms to one lone tree at the end of the garden.
It was once a small training area for young princes and princesses, but after the master had passed, this area of the castle was left unattended. But yet, one persistent camphor tree remained rooted and grew. You had never ventured to this part of the gardens, for it was not as beautiful as the others such as the blossoms and flowers from different lands, but it would seem as if Bokuto had found a unique beauty to this tree.
“Let’s climb it,” Bokuto suggested devilishly.
You shook your head firmly. “Young prince, you mustn't! It’s dangerous, what if you fall?”
Bokuto scoffed and ignored your statement, placing one foot up the camphor tree. Within a few seconds, he was scaling the tree effortlessly and sat on the lowest branch, which was still high from the ground. “Come on uh… what’s your name?”
“__________,” you answered. “And no, I mustn’t. You shouldn’t either!”
He rolled his eyes. “You talk a lot for someone my age. Hmm, as prince I command you to climb up this tree,”
You were about to refuse when you realised that he had added the term ‘command’ which meant you were unable to refuse or risk death. Even if a servant refused a simple order could result in an execution, or if one was lucky enough, to be sent back to the streets. You hesitantly placed your feet on the tree, clinging to the branches for dear life. You were almost close to where Bokuto sat when he grew impatient and tugged you up.
You gave a sharp yelp, thinking that you had fell but you were sitting on the branch, next to him. “See, nothing bad is going to happen! Live a little _______,”
‘I would, if I had your life,’ you thought to yourself, but didn’t say it aloud.
It was that time where you started to fall in love with Bokuto and when you started coughing flowers.
~
As a prince, he had many duties already imposed upon him as a young boy and being the only child in the palace, you were automatically his friend ever since that day. He would often search for you in the kitchens, or amongst the corridors whilst you were doing your job - and often misuse his power to ‘command’ you to play with him.
He had many duties as a prince and was often busy with his private studies of the land’s history, political and economic influence of other kingdoms and etc. Often enough, when you walk past his classes, he would send you a bored look whilst all you could respond is with a sympathetic smile.
You were never born lucky, first to a poverty-stricken family, to a family unable to bear any more children other than you, and now, both your parents were dead. When you heard news about your mother’s passing, it came to you as a shock for she was healthy and never once shown a symptom of her illness. The village’s doctor had pronounced her dead from a weak heart, but you knew it wasn’t true.
The queen too heard about the news of your mother’s death, and kindly enough, she paid for your mother’s funeral. “Your mother was so hardworking, and never once did she falter in her duties,” the queen spoke sympathetically next to you. Tears flowed from your cheeks as you watched your mother being lowered into the local cemetery. Only the rich were able to afford such a luxury, and having good relations with the queen provided such a space. You were only twelve when she passed, and was taken under the care of the other servants.
Bokuto too heard about the news when you arrived back at the palace, tear stained. The queen again, kindly excluded you from your duties to settle the news of your mother’s death. Bokuto had snuck out from his weaponry lessons to console you under the camphor tree. “I’m so sorry,” he whispered, patting your back.
“That’s how life is isn’t it?” you muttered sadly, taking in mouthfuls of air. “It’s just one bad thing after another. Give me a better life in my next one!” you yelled into oblivion, knowing that your words meant nothing in a world like this.
Bokuto had stayed by your side, without saying a word. Just the presence of him made you feel slightly better, with you rubbing your eyes and wiping away your tears. The sun was about to set, and you pushed yourself up, brushing dust off your tattered clothes. “Well, time to get going,” you stated, plainly.
“To where?” Bokuto queried, getting up as well.
“Kitchen duty,” you answered. “You want a taste of tonight’s dinner? Apparently there are important guests from the Land of the Morning Calm,” you pursed your lips trying to remember. “And from Europe,”
Bokuto groaned and ran his hands through his hair. “I think they are trying to court me with one of the daughters of those royals! I’m only twelve,” he pouted sadly.
You felt your heart ache for a second, coughing slightly. “Engagement?”
Bokuto nodded. Suddenly, a servant appeared from the corners of the garden and once she saw Bokuto, she sighed in relief. “There you are young prince! Come now, the king wants you! _________, the kitchen wants you too,”
“Coming!” you answered. You sent a wave to Bokuto and touched the tip of your nose. Bokuto responded with the same action, touching the tip of his nose. It was a secret code created by the two of you as a symbol of “good luck” to each other. You would often touch the tip of your nose whilst walking past his lessons, and he touches his own nose whenever he watched you doing a particularly difficult chore.
~
A few years passed and without even realising, both of you were turning sixteen. You turned sixteen first, which was a jovial occasion in which the two of you celebrated under the camphor tree eating the fruits that bore from the trees of the royal garden. Your sixteenth birthday was slightly special, for the servants had prepared a generous meal of rice with pickled vegetables, and a slice of expensive royal salmon which you had often wished you were able to taste.
“Go on _______-kun, it’s your sixteenth birthday, this is the best we can give you,” one of the kitchen staff had offered. With a big smile, you hugged each of them, for they were the closest thing you had as family.
You decided to savour the taste of the salmon, thus leaving it last after the sumptuous meal of pickled vegetables and rice. The fish practically melted in your mouth and you chewed in delight, savouring the taste to your utmost ability. That day, you perform your chores on a high mood.
Bokuto had approached you mid afternoon, whilst you trimmed the bonsai trees in the garden. He had a cheeky grin on his face and you had to admit, over the years he grew more handsome and yet he would never lose the childish glint in his eyes. That was one of the things you loved about Bokuto, and could never have, for your statuses differed too much to happen.
He had a burlap bag in hand and ushered you to come down from your ladder. “Are you very busy right now? It’s your birthday I can’t believe you’re still working!”
“A servant never stops serving,” you tapped his head, climbing down from the ladder. “I’m assuming that’s for me?” you teased, making an attempt to grab it. Bokuto instead, held it even higher, knowing you were unable to reach it for he was just that tall.
“The others won’t miss you for a few hours right?” he asked cheekily. “Let’s go into the forest.” he suggested.
You gasped and shook your head. “Your mother would have me executed if I went into the forest with you!”
“Why?”
“Because,” you bite your lip. “You’re a prince, I’m a servant. It’s just not right you know?”
Bokuto rolled his eyes. “You’re human, I’m human, come on, just for a few hours?”
You hesitated. “I command you to come to the forest with me,”
“Now you’re just misusing your power,” you crossed your arms. And because he had commanded you, you had no choice but follow him into the forest nearby the castle.
The forest had a much more different atmosphere from the gardens. Unlike the gardens, which was well maintained and leaves trimmed whenever they got they got unruly, the forest trees grew tall and sturdy, leaves sticking out in all directions and the forest floor covered in soft soil and dead leaves that crunched whenever you took a step. Bokuto found a rather shady area of the forest and there the two of you sat.
“Now, this is the real deal,” Bokuto sighed contentedly. He pulled the burlap bag over his thighs and pulled out something wrapped in the royal colour, purple with gold trimming. The colour purple itself was a symbol of wealth and the royal family, except Bokuto (because he prefers gold over purple) flaunt their status on a daily basis. “This is for you,”
You unwrapped the cloth to reveal a kanzashi kushi* set. You gasped and marvelled at the beauty. It was simple, yet it was elegant enough. The comb was a beautiful shade of cream, with flowers painted in yellow, pink and pale green. The pin had a similar design at the end and too bore the same colour scheme. “Bokuto-san!” you exclaimed.
“Call me Koutarou, we’ve been friends for ages already,” he corrected nonchalantly.
You blushed. “I can’t believe this,” you marvelled at the beauty and the thought that was put into this. It was simple, which meant it wouldn’t stand out amongst the servants neither would it catch the eye of the queen, yet there was so much beauty in the simplicity.
“Let’s get rid of this tree stick-” Bokuto began, pulling the chopstick that you had used for years to hold up your hair, allowing your hair to tumble down to your shoulders. Bokuto stared for a while, before shaking his head. “You look better with your hair down,” he stated, coughing slightly.
“Your mother would never approve of this.” you sighed. Pulling your hair back, you twisted it into a simple bun and requested for the hair pin.
“Let me do the honours,” Bokuto offered. “You just stick it through right?”
You chuckled and entertained him. The pin went through smoothly but parts of your hair tumbled out still. You took the pin from your hair, twisted your hair again into a bun and sticking the pin in an angle that would hold it all up. “Better?” you asked.
“Much,”
That night, you tossed and turned in your sleep, thinking back to the small, yet intimate hour you had spent with the prince. It was like a tragic love story like the one you read in the books, where the prince was never able to be with the girl that he loved. You then shook your head. ‘He doesn’t love me, impossible,’ you thought to yourself, knowing that he was probably in love with some other girl, maybe a princess from a neighbouring kingdom that his parents had already courted him with.
And your predictions, as much as you hated them, were often right. Not long after your birthday was Bokuto’s and as prince, he had thrown a lavish ball in the palace. Princesses from different lands were invited, all dressed for the occasion ready to enchant the prince, whilst you watched from afar, as a servant, longing for one day to wear the dresses that the princesses flaunted.
Your present to him was not as lavish as his was to you, but instead, you had spent weeks sewing a handkerchief for him. It was made out of expensive silk that you had spent a hefty amount at the market and thread that the other servants had lent you. It was a plain, white handkerchief with gold trimming. You had embroidered a grey owl in the corner, for it was his favourite animal and he would often visit his pet owl in the owlery.
That night, as he walked down from the stairs, you noticed your handkerchief peeking out from his clothes and you smiled to yourself, serving others in joy. But suddenly, events decided to take a turn and you found your chest constricting, as if something was stuck in your throat. You ran outside into the cool night air, clutching your chest as you coughed out whatever was stuck in your throat.
A handful of sakura petals.
You almost screamed in shock at the petals that fell from your mouth. You couldn’t stop the stream of petals that came out with every cough. A kindly old servant, who was your motherly figure found you sitting outside the gardens, coughing up enough petals for a small sakura plant.
“My dear, you are one of them,” she rubbed your back with a sympathetic voice. It turns out that in every hundred women, there was a curse on them. Generations ago, a woman fell in love with a handsome young man, who didn’t return her feelings. Feeling angry, because she had known him for so long, she cursed every women who the man had any interactions with, resulting in a curse that was passed down from generation after generation. She cursed these women to cough flowers whenever the ones they loved didn’t reciprocate the feelings, to make sure these women suffered the same pain she felt in her chest when she saw her lover with another woman. It was called, the hanahaki disease.
You were about to question why you, when you realised that you were in fact, in love with someone. You watched the ball from outside, where Bokuto was dancing with another princess, with a different look in his eyes. He looked happier when he was with her, and so did his mother and that’s when you realised, you were madly in love with Bokuto.
That night, you slept in the garden, not wanting the other servants to be awoken by your sobs or your endless painful coughs with sakura petals. Your chest hurt with every cough, and every thought of Bokuto and how he would never be yours. Tears streamed down your cheeks, as your sobs grew chokier and louder. You rushed to the camphor tree, where it brought back even more painful thoughts, but there was no place you could go where you could cry in peace.
Everything was a curse for you, your existence itself was a mere curse.
~
Bokuto had gotten engaged with a princess from the land of the morning calm, Korea. She was exquisitely beautiful, and terribly rich. Her royal family had connections with many traders around the world and their military was of top class. Merging these two families together will create a prosperous and harmonious kingdom for these two to rule, and it was perfect. A princess for a prince.
From that day onwards, your interaction with Bokuto grew less, for he was extremely busy with preparations to become king soon, for his father was growing weary. You rarely saw him around the palace, neither did he sought after you.
This silence continued until you turned eighteen. Your cough never stopped, often having to stop and rest from your chores to cough up petals that could be presented as a bouquet. You still painfully loved Bokuto, he was a fairytale you would never stop believing in.
Soon enough, his engagement ball came up. Most princesses from both lands had attended, so did their princes, as an opportunity to create more profitable merges. You were still a servant, serving for Bokuto when you noticed something odd in one of the rooms of the palace. You had noticed Bokuto had creeped up onto you, until his arms came crashing on your back. “________! It’s been a while hasn’t it?”
How could he speak with such a cheerful demure after not uttering a single word to you for two years. However, he was still the prince and you had to respond with utmost politeness. “It has been, whatever brings you to this part of the palace?”
“I’m searching for my fiancee,” he spoke of her highly and with a smile on his face. “Maybe she’s in here-” Bokuto opened the door to find his fiancee of course, but with another prince. You saw Bokuto’s face fall at the sight of his now embarrassed fiancee and even more embarrassed prince. Without a single word, Bokuto fled from the scene.
The princess called after him, but the prince had dragged her back into the room, shutting the doors tightly. You ran after Bokuto, who ran to the comforts of the camphor tree that the two of you once played when you were younger. He ran his hands through his hair, and you knew well enough he was trying not to cry for he had a tight expression. Carefully, you sat next to him, just like how he did when you were younger and you patted his shoulder.
“I thought I am in love with her,” Bokuto began, a choked sob at the back of his throat. “I should be feeling something now, shouldn’t I? Anger? Sadness? Tell me _______, what should I be feeling?” he asked. His expression was like a lost puppy and you couldn’t bear to give an answer to his question.
Your chest heaved and you coughed. This time, there were no petals. You were in shock and stared at Bokuto who was staring at you. “Am I in love with you ________?”
“That is a rash thought,” you began hurriedly. “I’m just a servant-” Bokuto cut you off by pressing his lips against yours. A squeal almost escaped you but you lost yourself in the softness of his lips, his arms wrapping around you and you found your fingers entangled in his hair.
“It’s you ______,” Bokuto breathed, pulling away.
“About time you noticed,” you teased, pulling him again for another kiss.
When you pulled away, the two of you were breathless. There’s no denying the sparks between you two and you knew that Bokuto was the one, because the only way to break the hanahaki curse was for the other person to reciprocate the feelings. And Bokuto did. Was his love for the princess, merely just lust? Or did he think he was in love, to please his parents?
“What now?” you asked. “We can’t return to the ball like this,”
Bokuto thought for a second and with a evil grin, he pulled you up. “Let’s run away in the moonlight.” he suggested.
You pulled your hand away. “Are you insane?! What if your mother finds out?”
“Just one night,” he requested. “I command you to run away with me,”
Yet again, you were unable to refuse, and Bokuto whistled for his horse. “My lady,” he offered and you giggled as he hoisted you up onto his horse. With his arms securely around you, you rode into the moonlight, just like any other fairytale.
