Most schools will host a Sexual Assault Awareness Day or Week. Hampshire’s Wellness Center hosts a Sexual Assault Awareness Month. And the organizers believe it’s something we should be discussing every day.
Headed by the Director of the Wellness Center, Jordan Perry, during the month of April various activities and workshops will be held revolving around sexual assault.
I’m one of the many student organizers involved and am helping to plan a workshop on the intersections of disability and sexual assault later in the month. Pictured in the photos are examples of yarn bombs that other student organizers put all around campus. I love them and the messages they’re spreading.
