Description: #24 - A tempura roll that incorporates cream cheese, crab, spicy mayo, and sriracha hot sauce. The more you eat, the more of a kick you get. I am a person who absolutely loves spice. This was the perfect kick. It didn’t overwhelm the senses, but it left a slight burn in your mouth once you neared the end. It was light and perfectly fresh. As this was my first time here, I can honestly say I cannot wait to go back and see what else they have in store!
Atmosphere: I absolutely loved everything this place had to offer. The decor was just gorgeous. Sakura trees lined the back walls, small chandeliers and dainty fans hung from the ceiling, abstractly colored panels plastered a corner wall, the woodwork was so well-done, and deep blues and comforting hues of brown complimented one another within the patterns of the booths. Not only did it hold a timely charm, but jazz music pored from the rafters. The music definitely added to the ambience. Listening to the light air of a trumpet while admiring the scenery was truly something special.
Fun Fact: Miyoko Omori was a Japanese native who came to America in 1970. After waitressing in Minneapolis for seven years, she found herself determined to open her own restaurant in 1990. Her enthusiasm alone gave her a restaurant she could have only dreamed of, and Sakura has been happily standing ever since (https://sakurastpaul.com/site/about-us/).
