"Have you ever heard of the occultism club? It's located in the old school building, close to the third floor staircase. The club has no active participants and the room remains abandoned, but somehow it's always well organized and clean, even though it's locked most of the time. Some say you can hear footsteps and voices inside, even if all there are just candles that never go out. If you're brave enough to enter, be careful: you may never be seen again..."

Shion is a Hannya, a snake-demon woman made from unstable human emotions. She feeds of negative feelings, and settled in Kamome because it's the perfect place to find her food. She lives among humans, luring them into the occultism room, where she imprisons and torments them for the rest of their lives.

Shion is a kind of antagonist, despite helping the main trio at times due to her own interests. She has no friends, but she likes to talk to Hanako as she lives close to the bathroom on the third floor, and is also sometimes seen walking with Tsukasa through the corridors (no one knows what they talk so much about). When Amane was alive, Shion was a kind of an older sister, even though her interests were just feeding on Amane's negative feelings.

As selfish and unstable as she is, Shion is calm and kind most of the time, especially in her human form, but she transforms completely as soon as she lets herself be dominated by bad feelings. She doesn't consider herself evil, just someone following her nature in order to survive.
