Sure, sex is great and all, but you ever have a really bad day and then you get home and there's an email from AO3 saying your favorite fic was updated and you can just melt into it and it makes everything better?

Ngl I was gonna choose the slowly one. The thought of having more time to say good bye and get the final things done that I've always wanted regardless of how much pain I was in would be nice.

Then I thought, oh, well then I'm just going to want more time. I'm going to want to do more things. I'm going to have more things to say. I'm going to be putting my friends and family through the pain of knowing that my time is slowly approaching.

Sure if I die without warning, it would still suck but that way none of us would suffer. I would die without as many regrets as I would if I knew my death was coming.

One year isn't a lot of time. Sure a lot can happen in that year but it's such a small amount of time. Time I'm gonna yearn for more of. Every night, going to bed, knowing that I'm one day closer to death. On top of that, having to deal with the pain that would eventually lead to my death. Like Death has their hand in my chest, slowly closing it around my heart.

I want to have my meeting with Death be a fleeting moment. Just them doing a routine, collecting souls. Me just being another one of the billions. Like a grocery store transaction. We acknowledge each other but never take the time to remember the other.

Knowing me, I'll die choking on pizza rolls. I'm gonna go make some now.
