The first fanfiction to be placed on ❝Haru's Bookshelf❞, and what a masterpiece to begin with! It was important to me to start with this one and to be honest, I couldn’t see myself to reblog any other work before it.

First of all, this little gem is one of my favorite short fanfictions of all times and among those I reread once a month. It has something addictive that makes the reader want to discover it over and over again, without ever stopping.

The thing that immediately made me fall in love is the description. The writing style is pleasing to the mind and it makes you feel all the emotions that the character - Minho - experience. The second paragraph was enough for me to understand the love that united the characters and this effect of repetition accentuates this love and this cute daily life of a couple.

One of the reasons I love this drabble so much is that I can identify with Minho, being an only child myself, I always preferred to have my space and renounce any affection in favor of my bed. Many will think the same, identification to the character is difficult but here, it is done really well.

Minho's evolution is adorable. He goes from the urge to be alone to the need to have the reader in his arms, and why? Because he's jealous of a pillow. This feeling, jealousy, which I find hard to write, is understandable here quickly and the indignation is felt instantly. The idea to trigger it is just adorable, and perfectly thought out!

The words are carefully chosen, and the character's thoughts are perfectly described, allowing the reader to imagine the scene instantly. And what a scene! The descriptions of the feelings are just... Perfect. A pure mixture of bad faith (assume your soft side, Lee Minho) and tenderness. But that's not all, love is ubiquitous and the boy's admiration for his s/o is magnificent.

This story always lifts my spirits, it has this calm effect on my mind that makes me forget all the little worries of everyday life. I highly recommend it, it is not long and I can assure you it will brighten up your day!

Don’t get him wrong, Minho absolutely loves touching you, in every single way possible.

He loves wrapping his arms around your waist and how instinctively he does so when you sit on his lap, he loves sliding his hands up and down your sides whenever gentle pecks turn into passionate kisses and how you still shiver beneath every whisper of his fingers, he loves holding your hand at the most random, unnecessary times of a day and the way you always reciprocate his gentle yet firm grip on your hand.

But cuddling in his sleep just wasn’t really his thing, he thought. Growing up taking up all the space in his bed, Minho had fully convinced himself that sleeping with someone, anyone, in such a close distance just wouldn’t be his cup of tea.
