Wolfsbane: Chapter 3 Update

May 19th, 2022

Oh boy, another chapter! And the first one where the whole gang is together for the entirety of it!

Update

Bad news first: Emotionally, the last few weeks have been an absolute rollercoaster of emotions and I kind of crashed hard enough that doing anything more creative than building greenhouses in Sims was...exhausting. It's looking like the next few weels are going to continue being a little turbulent in that regard.

Good news:

I've been binging Ghosts (BBC), and it's gotten some of those creative juices flowing again. I also reread some of the character stuff I scribbled down for Helios a while ago and I want to write those. It's not the main story, but it's something.

I am also thinking about putting up the demo for Vampire in the next couple of weels despite not being totally happy with a lot of the background code.

In personal good news: I finally got a prescription both for anxiety and for testosterone. As...honestly, as freaked out as that has made me, I'm looking forward to coming out the other end of this and learning how to give myself grace for feeling negative things about positive things.

Got to my destination safely and am now also the proud owner of three new books. Gonna be spending this week relaxing and recovering, and maybe revisiting my childhood by rereading The Wizard's Map.

Fun fact: Cedar Oak isn't fanfic of The Wizard's Map by any stretch of the imagination, but it was inspired both by that book and the small town one of my sets of grandparents lived in.

This is a fan game that takes place in the Vampire: The Masquerade Universe!

During the day, the sun shines. The light from the sun makes plants grow, makes the day brighter, and makes for a beautiful view.

And you will never feel the sun again, because you are dead.

You are the childe of one of the Barons of Summerview. You were never meant to truly be in the spotlight, but unfortunately things don't always go as planned.

When rumours of the Second Inquisition coming to Summerview prove true, a meeting between the Barons is called to discuss what will be done to drive them out.

This meeting is never brought to frutation. When something goes wrong, and takes out a part of the Unbound's leadership, you and the rest of the anarchs are left scrambling to maintain control of the city. To make matters worse, the night after the attack, a Prince has declared Praxis and is demanding the vampire population to bend the knee.

A Custiomizable MC!! Choose your style, your abilities and skills, and your job before everything went to hell

Choose your allegiances, Will you stay with the Anarchs? Will you go with the Camarilla? Or will you only stay loyal to yourself?

Romance one of six ROs! Or don't, romance in this game is extremely optional!

Once a Civil Right's activists, now a Brujah that roams these modern nights with helping the less fortunate kindred that have been scorned by the Ivory Tower. She dreams of a more equal system, where all kindred have a voice, not just the few, old and powerful. (Is romanceable only if you are allied with the anarchs)

Drew | The Truth-Seeker of the Clan of the Hidden | Cis!Male

A journalist who now spends his time seeking the truth in kindred matters and maintaining the masquerade. He has an extensive network of kindred, ghouls and mortals, and will do whatever it takes to find who and what caused the event that took out the current anarch leadership. (Is romanceable if you are allied with the anarchs)

Ophelia/Octavius Klein | The Royal of the Clan of the Moon | Cis!F/Cis!M

Arrogant and cunning, Klein has worked to establish a princedom for a very long time. They refuse to back down, not even for the Second Inquisition, and especially not for the brats running around the city calling themselves "anarchs". They have come too far to stop now. (Is only romanceable if allied with)

Reagan Adler | The Turncoat of the Clan of Shadows | Nonbinary

The sheriff originally from Clan Lasombra, they followed their sister to the Camarilla and now serve Prince Klein as their Sheriff. A laid-back counterpart to their "sister", they are in charge of investigating and enforcing the prince's will. They may appear lazy or complacent, there is much more that meets the eye. (Romanceable only if allied with)

Rosa Alves da Silva | The Deceiver of the Clan of Shadows | Cis!F

One of the scourges of Prince Klein, she was the one of the pair of siblings that wanted to join the Camarilla along with the other Lasombra turncoats. The complete opposite of her "sibling", she's stern, serious, and someone who believes the traditions of the Camarilla are the only thing keeping kindred in check, and she will do everything she can to uphold and make sure others uphold these traditions. (not romanceable)

Jackson/Jacqueline Black | The Prodigal Child of the Second Inquisition | Cis!M/Cis!F

The Special Agent in charge of the task force of the FBI: Special Affairs Department that have come to Summerview. They were the mastermind that drove out the "blank body menance" in the other neighboring cities at least a decade ago, it seemed that they retired with grace after accomplishing a monumentous task. But now, they're back, and seems like they won't stop at nothing to wipe out the kindred in Summerview. (possible romance)

Alexis Miller | Local detective and Private Investigator | Cis!F/Cis!M

A semi-famous private investigator, who has no idea about the things that go bump in the night. After one too many things get covered up by the SCPD, they've decided to investigate what exactly is happening in the city and drag the truth into the light, no matter the cost. (Is romanceable no matter who you are allied with)
