Sano: “If you say deadass after one more sentence I’m going to put you under again.” He knows it, mainly cause Akira uses it (too much according to Sano)

Rire: “What does ‘Lmao’ mean?” ah Rire, doesn’t even know the simplest of terms. When MC makes tentacle porn jokes, he doesn’t take it well.

Strade: “What do you mean I need to check my vibes?? What is a vibe??” He thinks it’s a weird insult he’s never heard of, and when the drill makes a funny noise and they laugh, he loses it.

Lawrence: “No cap? You’re beautiful.” Lawrence understand/uses Gen Z slang/ humor very well, having spent almost half his life online. 

Ren: “On god, if you don’t kill him, I’ll do it myself.” Much like Lawrence, Ren is very up to date on lingo. He laughs at the furry fox boy jokes.

Vincent: Doesn’t care what you’re saying, he’ll shut you up if he needs to. When he says to piss on the floor, MC giggles about “pee” for a solid ten minutes and Vincent loses it.

Cain: No. He doesn’t tolerate it, thinking it lowrate, and he’ll put a stop to it at once.

Exactly!! I also would like to think of him getting into the claymation dolls, and not making films, but appreciating the amount of work that goes into making one of those dolls. (He also would LOVE the Laika films like Coraline)

If you’re asking me personally, I would be interested in what he wants to pursue instead. I would support him in no matter what!  I think he’d probably go into making dolls full time, and just becoming a caretaker to his MC. He wouldn’t stress so much about funds since Akira was the main one who brought money home anyway (he’ll never admit that though)

Hey! I hope you're okay during these times :') I just want to ask what Strade, Law and Ren's voices would sound like? Like what characters from other series would sound like them or if their voices have any specific traits at all. Thanks btw!

I don’t really have good info for this! I honestly just have a very weak imagination when it comes to audio, like its actually genuinely hard for me to imagine sound, and when I do, I have no idea how to explain it LMAO

I can give as much as I have though?

Strade: Noticeable, but not super thick German accent, sometimes ends sentences deliberately slowly in a playful way, two different laughs- a hearty genuine guffaw right from the base [ he does this one almost all the time ] and a sharp loud bark of a laugh which is rare but he does it when he’s angry or being very cruel. Not particularly high or low, a ‘medium’ voice.

Law: Low voice, but usually softspoken. His voice naturally carries further than others [ due to the pitch ] so he compensates by speaking as quietly as he can. Really something to behold when he’s shouting. Has a bit of a stutter that comes up when he’s anxious. His laugh is awkward and stifled usually, he’ll automatically try to cover his mouth when he does. If someone could make him truly unabashedly laugh, it would be booming. [ good luck with that though ]

Ren: I don’t know the right word… husky? Ren has a lighter voice with the slightest bit of a rasp to it. Gets louder the more excited he gets. Has a very nice clear laugh- unless it goes too far, then it does that weird honking from the chest thing. Has a lot of range- he has both the capacity to be high pitched, borderline whiny, and he has the capacity to speak lowly and carefully. His screams have a tinge of roar to them and he does have the ability to growl.

Sano Headcannon Dump!

IT’S SANO PREESH TIME OH YEAH!!!

I actually made some of these while talking to a friend about Sano, you know who you are! Thanks for letting me gush to you dude! 

-He's really cold. Even when he admits that he loves you, you're unsure of its value. Slowly, he warms up, letting you peel back those layers. 

- It may not seem like it, but when you talk, he does actually take it in. He's a doctor/scientist, his whole job is observing and taking things in. For example, yesterday you were talking about your favorite meals, and he was just kinda nodding off, seemingly not paying attention. The next night, that's what you're having for dinner. small things that mean a lot. 

-He's LOADED, like, he's RICH RICH. He's not afraid to pamper you with anything. Certified sugar daddy. Although he insists on pouring money into doing self-care, eating good meals, and overall great health, anything recreational he leaves to you. Making you happy makes him happy! 

 -He has shelves upon selves of old Japanese action/sci-fi movies. When he's not working, you cuddle up on the couch and watch them together, and he'll translate things for you if you get lost. 

-On nice days, he’ll take you out to the backyard and have a picnic with you. You’ll eat sandwiches and salads, and he’ll surprise you with a special dessert. There’s always flowers involved somehow as well. 

-He loves painting your fingernails. He just finds it so relaxing, and he’ll spend hours just layering it on, and doing intricate designs. He always does a great job, and he has surprisingly steady hands. 

-He gives. The best cuddles. He just does. There’s no explanation, he just knows exactly where to put his arms. You fall asleep cuddling him often.

-Fangs. This isn’t even a headcannon. His fangs need more love and appreciation, so I’m adding them. Sano Kojima’s fangs.

~Request~ Scarred!MC x The Boys

Strade: is upset. He hates someone’s already broken you. He doesn’t get the satisfaction of doing it himself. He asks you about it though, he wants to hear what happened. He wants to make sure he does it better. 

Rire: makes it a point to trace over them with his tentacles, slowly. “Tsk, tsk. It seems you’ve always been this rowdy, little human. Hmm...interesting.” 

Sano: is determined to clean them up. He can’t have his doll looking all beat up and worn down, now can he?

Ren: uses it as a bonding experience. He asks you how you got each one, and then he’ll show you his, and..half heartedly explain. 

Lawrence: thinks they’re so beautiful, and will trace them, while remarking how beautiful and perfect you are. 

Cain: won’t ask you about it immediately, but when you two become closer, he’ll ask you who did that to you, and why. 

Vincent: will take you to get make them tattoos, and he’ll even get matching ones with you!

~Request~ Shy! MC x Sano

(He doesn’t!! It’s a crime, quite frankly.)

Sano kept to himself quite often, and while he wasn’t shy, he avoided interaction until quite necessary. Which is why when he saw them, closed off and cold at the bar, quietly mumbling to the bartender, he knew that was his next target. 

It was difficult at first, having a patient refuse to talk to you about their medical history, unable to make a plan best for their needs, Sano didn’t even know their name. But he was patient. He could tell there was so much going on inside, and he wanted to learn. So he waited.

It was when he was attending a wound that they had, and all of sudden, they moaned out his name. He was taken aback, flushed a deeper shade than their’s. 

They slowly opened up to him, and if Sano was attached before they even muttered a word, he most certainly was now. He decided that they would make a lovely doll, and that they would never have to worry about being shy ever again.

Sano x Mc - Dissecting somebody for the first time

(Takes place immediately after the You joined Sano in his studies! ending.) 

(TW: Knives, blood, syringes, cutting into people, all the usual Sano Kojima shit)

I was shaking. I had no idea where to even start. The man tied down beside me was thrashing all about, and Sano stood behind me. Directly below me were a series of medical knives, all different lengths and sizes. I looked up at the man standing over me. He smiled slightly. “Are you lost, doll?” I nodded bashfully. He picked up my hand and caressed it slightly. “You’re going to to great. I’m excited.” He guided my hand to one of the knives. I lifted it up. He then guided my hand to a part of the chest. He leaned down and whispered gently in my ear: “It’s just like cutting anything else, you line up the knife, and....” Sano slightly added pressure to my hand, letting the knife cut slowly into the tied down man’s skin. He let out a loud scream, and I instinctively jolted away, pulling the knife out of him quickly. He screamed even louder. I felt Sano put a hand on my shoulder. “It’s ok...hang on” He had a syringe full a liquid, and he quickly injecting it into the victim’s arm. The movement quickly ceased, and the man’s breath got deeper, and slowed. I looked back at Sano, and he nodded at me. “Try again.” he said, looking at the knife still in my hand. I lined the knife up along a new patch of skin, just above the victim’s stomach. I slowly pushed down, and slowly started to cut a line. Sano was right, it was just like cutting anything else. Once I made one line, I looked back at Sano, face flushed and grinning. I smiled at him, and started to cut a square around the man’s stomach. 

I don’t know how long I had been cutting, but eventually, Sano stopped me. “I think that’s enough for today, love. Let me stitch him back up for tomorrow.” He kissed me on my forehead “I’m proud of you. You did better than I expected you to.” He got his sewing supplies, and I sat down in his desk chair. Maybe staying with him won’t be so bad after all...

A Quick Thought (TM) I had while working: Ren snapping at an “ungrateful” MC (slightly inspired by this song)

“Is...is that what you really think of me??” Ren was so hurt. He had been so nice. So gentle. So caring, and there they go, calling him crazy. “I’m not crazy...” He looked at them shaking under him. Are...are they scared of him?? He did nothing to them. He’d only shocked them once. ONCE. That would be a blessing for him. And they’re going to disrespect them like that?“You think I’ve been bad to you? You think I’ve hurt you? Been unreasonable? I can’t believe you. I think you need to realize how lucky you are.” They were shocked with fear, tears streaming harder down their face, but Ren didn’t care anymore. BZZZT. They were on the ground, crying out. Ren dragged them across the floor, not caring about being gentle. He opened the door to the basement, and dragged them down the floor. Each thud felt more satisfying to his anger. He tied them to the pole and shocked them a few more times. Each time they cried out was more powerful to him. He turned behind him. He looked at all the tools he could use. The knives...the hammer...but something was calling out to him. “The drill gun...” He picked it up and weighted it in his hand. He looked back at the sniffling mess of a person tied to the pole. “This is exactly what they need.”

~Request~ Sano x Mc!

Sano has little fangs in his mouth, so he has to be careful when he kisses you. Though when he smiles you can see them! 

He gets very embarrassed if you point them out though, so you do it a lot. 

Somedays, he’ll sit you down and teach you some Japanese words and phrases. 

He’s really bad about leaving his lab coat in random places around the house, so you usually put it on and walk around in it. He thinks you look really cute in his lab coat. 

There was this one time where he was trying to figure out what went wrong in one of his experiments, and he fussed over it for weeks. You finally asked him what the problem was. You solved it so quickly he was mad, but he came back a few hours later and ordered a nice dinner for a celebration. 

Since then, although you’re his doll, he comes to you just to bounce ideas off of. It doesn’t scare you, it’s almost like when you had a partner during a science experiment. Except he did all the work. 

He’s not very physical at first, but after the first few month of being together, he sets into a pattern. When’s he’s relaxing on the couch, his arm is out for you to cuddle into. When he works, he’ll usually work cross legged so you can easily slip into his lap and be comfortable. When you sleep together his arms start to fall and wrap in the same places every night. Small things. 

On your birthday, he takes the day off for all sorts of fun stuff. The time you’re allowed to go out and do anything you want. (That and the winter holidays)

Sometimes you’ll catch him doodling you in his notes. It’s very cute.
