• An angel and a demon sunbathing in Southern Italy •
I like to think of this one as a postcard Aziraphale would write to Gabriel and Beelzebub with a lot of kind words and exciting news... only for Crowley to seize it from him before he sends it off to keep it for himself ❤️
Next fanart will be... 🔥✨

New Chapter of Anchored - Scuttlebutt
From this chapter's summary:
Previously, Crowley and Aziraphale arrived at the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Beaufort, North Carolina, for an interview and photoshoot for World Sailing magazine. Crowley's agent, Bea, informed him that his boss, Nik, expected him to savage his rival.
In this chapter, Crowley and Aziraphale face a rude reporter determined to get the better of them. They have surprises in store--for him, and each other.
Tumblr media
C'mon, you know you want to read it. Crowley defying death filming viral sailboat stunts? Aziraphale defying everyone's expectations (especially Crowley's) at every turn? And sailing lore--so much sailing lore. If you read, make sure to click both links for Alex Thomson's mast walk. You won't want to miss seeing the inspiration for this story. Fic is entirely written and I will post new chapters every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. Chapter 4- Scuttlebutt is here.
Or read from the beginning of Anchored.

Conveniently Married (T, 1/3, 3.8 k)
Two broke guys, one chat, and a foolproof plan to beat the tuition fee system.
When Aziraphale agrees to marry his best friend, Crowley, to save money on student loans, he is prepared to deal with Crowley's carefree lifestyle and playful teasing.
What he isn't prepared for is this new and tender feeling that grows over the following months and years.
Perhaps this arrangement has more than just financial benefits.

Note
“His name is… uh…” Crowley pretended to be looking for it. “Luke Morningstar.”
“Duke Morningstar?”
“No, no, Luke, with an ‘L’ like Love.”
Someone kill me right now.

The Trouble with HELL (18/19)
A GO Podcasters/Investigators AU (rating: E)
Tumblr media
The Trouble with HELL by beerok23
Summary:
Award-winning true crime podcast Va-voom, sorted! has been on hiatus since his author, Anthony Crowley, has published his first murder mystery, Murder on the M25. When his associate Nina begs him to follow a story on a train crash, he meets PI Aziraphale Eastgate, and he soon realises that the charming Apparition in tartan is the real voice behind his favourite podcast, Mr Fell's Mystery Haven. Crowley can't possibly imagine that Aziraphale is starting his own true crime podcast to investigate the same story. Feeling the pressure of competition, Crowley goes back to his first love and wages a Podcast War against the angel until they both realise that the case is bigger than they originally thought. With so much at stake, will they keep working against each other, or will they put their differences aside and learn to trust one another to uncover the truth?

Chapter 18/19: Out of the Closet (and into the Closet) (5.4k words)
Summary: Our boys attend an Award ceremony. Regardless of who’s going to win, things will get steamy.
Excerpt from Chapter 18:
“You know you’re going to win, right?” “Don’t be silly, my dear. No podcast about literature ever wins in that category, it’s all about the Arts and less about the Culture.” They were in the lobby of the O2 Arena, waiting for the ceremony to start. Aziraphale had always claimed he didn’t care for awards, and he still firmly stood by this statement. But Crowley had a completely different opinion on the matter. “I was talking about Finding Clues, Aziraphale,” Crowley chuckled at his obvious attempt to ease the tension. “Just promise me you won’t be disappointed if you don’t win, darling.” “I will be very disappointed if you don’t win, angel. I will burn this place to the ground.” “I wouldn’t expect anything less from a so-called demon.” “See you after the thing?” Crowley asked, trying to sound as casual as possible. Aziraphale nodded his assent with a sheepish smile on his face. “I’ll sit with Ana and Maggie on the right side.” Crowley looked at him unconvinced. “Isn’t the angel supposed to be on the left side?” Aziraphale chuckled. “If you consider the viewer’s point of view, sure. But the demon is the one on the left shoulder, Crowley.” Crowley gaped at him and shook his head in horror. “See? That’s why I wanted you to proofread the manuscript. Oh fuck, this is just GREAT, now I have to go back and reread my draft from the start, because I think I messed it all up.”

Figuring it Out
Tumblr media
Ch.6 is up and that's a wrap on this fic! Endless thanks to @gaiaseyes451 @tybalttrouble and @harlotofupdog for the beta work and Britpicks on this!
.
.
.
“I’ve got to hand it to you, mister big artiste, this is fantastic.” Eric pivots on a patent heel from where he’s been watching the small crowd that’s gathered for Crowley’s art exhibition, taking a sip of champagne with a flourish.
“Thanks, Eric.” Crowley also takes a drink from the flute he’s been nursing.
“I mean, I had no idea you knew more than three people! And they appear to like you and everything!”
“Ha-bloody-ha.” Crowley props himself on the front counter of The Bean Queen—where his show is being hosted—and scowls at a snickering Eric.
Shaking his head fondly, Crowley’s so-called friend comes to stand on his other side, champagne cradled in one hand and a macaron in the other. He’s looking comparatively toned down this evening in black tailored trousers and the maroon vintage button up of Crowley’s (s’on loan for now…might maybe part with it permanently, he really doesn’t wear it.) But it’s none the less a dapper and distinguished combination. Crowley himself allowed the other man to drag him out shopping and put him in an ombre dark green to black button up shirt and black skinny tie, also with black trousers. He’s wearing heeled boots with red soles (in the style of Louboutin only; Crowley is a starving artist) and a shade of lipstick to match.
“In all seriousness, it’s wonderful, babe. And I trust your loyal admirers weren’t too expensive.”
Eric dissolves into a fresh wave of giggles, false lashes fluttering like bird wings. Crowley rolls his eyes. He grew up with brothers; Eric teasing him is like being licked by a unicorn compared to how his brothers used to taunt him. More than that, he’s resigned to the fact that when Eric jabs at him, it’s laced with that innocent and somewhat nauseating undertone of affection, good intentions, n’ friendship schmoop.
Read it here.

“Night Blooms” By @gaiaseyes451
Good Omens Human AU: Aziraphale visits the garden in which he spent so much time in his youth, finds a hauntingly vibrant flower, drinks a tea made from it, and dreams of the man he is missing. Beautifully descriptive prose reminiscent of Wonderland.
Still haven’t found the courage to read “A Little Life” yet, but this story is breathtaking.

Good Omens Fan Fiction Friday (7/4/25) - Memory Loss
Tumblr media
Fic writers have penned amazing memory loss fics after its central role in season two of Good Omens. Some are heartbreakingly tender. Others are ridiculously silly. Whether set in the canon universe or a human AU, stories of memory loss are amazingly rich. Here are a few of my favorites.
First up is Save Me (T) by atimefeeler/@atimesfeeler. Anthony wakes up in the hospital suffering from a concussion and no memories. He also finds a note, written in blood, threatening him. While trying to figure out who he is, he decides to keep his memory loss a secret. After all, anyone in his phone contacts could be a potential killer. Even the mysterious "Angel." This is a tense but also tender story. It's a lovely example of how our favorite demon and angel are drawn together even when one of them doesn't remember why.
In ain't no cure for love (E) by @may--hawk, Crowley experiences strange things in the bookshop after Aziraphale returns to heaven. This is a thrilling story I don't want to spoil any more than I already have by including it on this list. But it makes smashing use of Terry Pratchett's L-Space. Definitely worth a read--especially if you need a speculative season three to tide you over until the finale arrives. A couple sit at a table reading a note that says one of them is an angel and the other is a demon. They have half an hour to figure out which is which or face the consequences in guess who (T) by attheborder/@areyougonnabe. It's a silly bit of South Downs fluff.
Aziraphale wakes as a 38th order scrivener missing his memories with a cryptic note he left for himself in Light the Corners of my Mind (G) by cyankelpie/@ineffable-kelpie. He has to figure out what happened. Unfortunately, the one being who might be able to help is avoiding him. This is one of a series of amnesia flicks by cyankelpie that I haven't read. But I loved this one. It was tender and emotional.
@eggysoupy writes about Crowley telling Aziraphale he loves him through the ages in everything i've had but couldn't keep (T). But for some reason, he never remembers doing it. It's as sweet as the song that inspires the title.
After the Armageddon't, Crowley arrives at the bookshop to pick up Aziraphale for their date. But the angel has no memory of him. Strangers Again (patria sine memoria) (M) by doric_column tells the story of Crowley trying to figure out what happened. It's such a clever story that evolved as the writer watched season two. And it finishes in such a satisfying way. I loved it!
Moving on to human AUs, we have How Could I Forget (E) by JessnotJessie. Aziraphale and Crowley love each other and have never admitted it. When Crowley falls and suffers a head injury in his plant shop, bookseller Aziraphale stays by his side. Surprisingly, the injured man with brain damage is not the only person forgetting things.
Grab your tissues. You'll need them when reading A Little Life (E) by @gaiaseyes451. Professor Crowley and bookseller Ezra fall in love and create a long and wonderful life together. No spoilers. But mind the tags.
Let's finish with a WIP I've been enjoying quite a bit, Still We Know Each Other So Well (E) by @paperclipninja. More than half way finished, this story asks the question, "What would happen if both Crowley and Aziraphale lost their memories?" It's an engaging mystery. Give it a look. Hope you find some enjoyable reads. Of course, they're a small selection. Please reblog and share your favorite memory loss fics in the comments. Support our wonderful fandom writers by leaving comments and kudos. I'll be back next Friday with more great fics related by theme. In the meantime, check out my other favorite fics on this pinned post of weekly Good Omens fan fiction recommendations. And if my faves appear to be your faves, check out my bookmarks on AO3--all the fics I rate in my top 10% of everything I've read.
