I have made the decision to permanently relocate my tumblr.

I will not be sharing the new blog name publicly. I’ve had people from real life I’m not comfortable with seeing my tumblr find me and use my personal posts against me.

Okay, I think i have it now and i appreciate it.

I’ve just made a bet against my Dad that if this post gets 2 million notes then i can get a Puppy. [like the one underneath]

I didn’t realise how much 2 million was and i couldn’t take that number down now. It should look like 2,000,000 in the notes bar.

He’s convinced that this will never reach that number, and very confident about it so Let’s prove him wrong!! He thinks this will get about 25 notes beofre it’s left in the dust.

You don’t have to do it for me. But for the point and to prove him wrong. He has to pay and everything so let’s make him suffer with it!!

Trope: Age Regression

The first Tony said to him when the smoke cleared was:

“My father won’t pay the ransom.”

His voice was about three octaves too high and his head a foot and a half too low.

Peter’s heart was so loud in his ears he could barely hear.

“What?” he rasped.

Tony’s dark eyes darted around the room, his chest visibly rising and falling with each frantic breath. When he spoke, his voice trembled, but he straightened his shoulders and jutted out his chin like he wasn’t afraid at all.

“My father won’t pay you to get me back. He told me.”

Suddenly Peter’s heart was pounding for a whole different reason.

“He told you?” Peter hissed. Tony flinched and Peter took a step back, taking a deep breath.

He looked around him, at the time travel device he and Tony had been working on. Peter wasn’t sure how it had gone so abysmally wrong. But the evidence was standing in front of him, fidgeting and trying not to cry.

“I didn’t kidnap you,” he said after a long moment.

Tony looked dubious at best.

“I swear I didn’t,” Peter insisted. “I was doing an experiment and it went… wrong.”

Despite himself, Tony glanced back at the device, looking curious. He hesitated, glancing back at Peter, then asked, “What kind of experiment?”

“A complicated one,” Peter hedged, crossing the room to examine the device. Half of it was still smoking slightly, the complicated wiring burned and shriveled. Peter sighed.

“Well, clearly you screwed it up,” little Tony said, crossing his arms over his thin chest with a huff. Peter raised an eyebrow.

“Clearly,” he said, unimpressed. Tony’s eyes darted away again, nervous color on his cheeks. When Peter shifted, Tony automatically flinched away, his eyes flashing to the door like he was considering running.

Peter looked at Tony a little closer. He looked exactly like he did in the pictures Peter had seen, him with his circuit board, his computer, the things he’d built at such impressively young ages. But even without those pictures, Peter would have known instantly who was standing in front of him: His eyes were exactly the same—dark, intelligent, sizing everyone and everything up within seconds.

“How old are you?” Peter asked.

Tony hesitated. “Eight,” he finally said.

Peter took a deep breath, letting his cheeks puff up as he blew it out.

“Um, FRIDAY, let Pepper know. And Bruce.”

“Of course, Peter,” FRIDAY answered, and Tony jumped, looking up at the ceiling with wide eyes.

“That’s FRIDAY,” Peter said, then bit his lip. Could he tell eight-year-old Tony about the AI he would create in thirty-five years, or would that affect the timeline of Tony’s life? Was the Tony standing in front of him a fifty-three year old turned eight? Or had Peter pulled the eight-year-old Tony out of his time and sent the adult Tony back to 1978?

He changed the subject. “Are you hungry?”

Tony shook his head, looking wary, but then his stomach audibly growled. Peter snorted.

“Come on. I make some mean grilled cheese.”

What about Peter realizing that Pepper is pregnant before Tony, you know superpowers, improved hearing and all that!

“Ms. Potts?” Peter and Pepper were standing in the kitchen. Tony had gone downstairs to get the take-out they had ordered. “Are you okay?”

“What do you mean Peter?” Pepper asked, confusion in her voice. She took impeccable care of herself. She took vitamins every day (vitamins which she had to basically bribe Tony into taking as well), exercised regularly, and did her best to get a full night’s sleep. Not to mention, she always looked like the picture of perfection with perfectly ironed clothes and pin-straight hair (she had retired the ponytail years ago, but Tony often complained that he missed it). So, she truly didn’t know what Peter meant. 

“I don’t mean to be rude,” Peter said, realizing how awful his question sounded. “I just noticed that your heart…it’s like beating really fast.” Pepper pursed her lips and then checked her watch. 

“Heartbeat monitor says I’m good,” Pepper said. “Tony made this for me. Do you want one by the way? I’m sure he’d be happy to make one for you.”

“Oh I’m okay,” Peter said, looking down at his feet. Tony was nice enough to him already; making his suit and constant updates, letting him work in his personal lab, having him over for dinner, even letting him stay at the Tower when May was out of town (like that weekend). He didn’t need a fancy watch on top of that (although it did look really cool). Pepper noticed the look in his eyes and nodded. 

“You know when I first started working for Tony,” Pepper began. “I always thought he’d throw money at random things. But the more I got to know him, the more I realized that his spending of money and gift-giving, that was his way of showing people he cared. Did you know that he only started buying Audis because Happy mentioned he thought they were interesting cars?”

“Oh,” Peter said, his ears slightly red.

“When’s your birthday?” Pepper asked. 

“August 10th,” Peter said and Pepper smiled, already making a mental note to write that down so she could tell Tony to make Peter his own watch. “You really don’t have to tell Mister Stark.”

“Tell me what,” Tony asked, walking in with a few take-out bags. Peter’s ears grew even more red and he just sort of stuttered out a response as Pepper chuckled. “Never mind kid. Anyways, sushi’s here. And I got your favorite roll Pep.” Pepper smiled as she started to help him unload the bags. As she caught a whiff of the food, she felt her stomach turn. She covered her mouth, feeling bile rise up in her throat.
