Yesterday I signed up in a gym, got my first personal training plan and worked out for like two hours.
Today's workout was even longer, I drove to the gym at 10:30 and headed home at 13:15 - I just had so much fun! ๐๐ปโโ๏ธ

My plan for now ๐
I decided I don't need to wait until the new year to finally work on myself, so here's my plan for a healthy mind and body:
get enough sleep - aim for 8h ๐ด
wake up not later than 8am on weekdays, 9am on the weekends
don't hit snooze, but wake up and think about three things you're looking forward to today/this week
actually eat breakfast, like porridge or fruit ๐๐
less coffee or energy drinks, more tea ๐ต
drink at least 2 litres of water everyday ๐ง
eat a healthy lunch, maybe mealprep if you don't have much time ๐ฅ
actually eat dinner, but not after 7pm ๐ฎ
if you want to snack, make it healthy - you are what you eat!
try to avoid extra sugar, sweets etc. ๐ฌ๐ก
no fast food and the likes, with a max. of four times a month ๐๐ซ
stay vegan โบ๏ธ๐ฑ
plan your meals of the week in advance
don't weigh yourself during the week, if you want to, do so only weekly โ๏ธ
take your measurements every month ๐
go for a run once or twice a week ๐โโ๏ธ
dance practice twice a week ๐ฏ
go to the gym 3-4 times a week ๐๏ธ
don't go more than 3 days without training
train every monday
find the perfect shower gel, perfume, body lotion that matches
skincare routine!
try out new outfits that you feel confident in ๐๐
take pictures when you feel good ๐ธ
try new hairstyles etc
meet with friends once or twice a week, (plus dance practice where you meet everyone anyway)
read more, and learn something new every day ๐
appreciate what you have, and try to overthink less, even though it's hard
understand that you are a great person on your own, and are not dependent on others to know your worth
write in your journal semi-regularly ๐โ๏ธ
I'll add more when something else crosses my mind :)

What's this blog gonna be about?
See, I'm a psychology student (studying to become a teacher one day), and to be honest I first started to be interested in psychology in my early teens because of my own history of mental health issues (got diagnosed with depression when I was seventeen, after a year of self harm, but decided to end the therapy sessions before they even began).
And even though I managed to tackle many of the issues I had (stopped cutting and burning myself, worked on being more sociable etc.) I noticed that just accepted some pretty unhealthy aspects of my everyday life, like the way I didn't eat a meal without overthinking or feeling guilty in about four or five years, or how I still think so self-depreciatingly and won't stand up for myself till now.
I just don't want to accept that anymore. I want to live a healthy life, with both a healthy mind and body, and that's what I'll be writing about here :)
