every single one of my friends should be playing Laya's Horizon. it reminds me of the wingsuit sections of Rider's Republic, only they created this gorgeous, low-fi world filled with people that want nothing more than to fly around with their little capes.

you can travel to any point you see on the map, and there's so much to do. my favorite mobile game in years

I wasn't sure I'd like it when I first tried Palia but I'm falling more and more in love the more I play. 😊

Palia is a Free to Play MMO that was just released as an open BETA. As far as I've played it works super well to play solo though if MMO isn't your favorite thing.

You play as a human character that arrives to a beautiful world and embark on a quest to unravel the mystery of what happened to the human civilization to make all humans disappear and their world fall into ruins.

In true cozy game style you'll get your own plot of land where you can craft, farm and decorate. You'll mine, forage, fish and hunt while befriending all the villagers and eventually romanzing a special someone!

I recently got a secondhand copy of Tamagotchi Corner Shop 3 for the DS, and for some reason I cannot figure out how to do the card shop bit properly, the instructions are really unclear and it’s confusing. Would anyone be able to help me with that section? I’ve looked up guides etc and there doesn’t seem to be anything for the third game.

i think “video games aren’t really the violent child-corrupting threat some parents worry they are” and “certain circles of gamer culture are incredibly toxic and can lead people down dangerous/hateful ideological rabbit holes” are ideas that can absolutely coexist

Just wanted to put a plug in for one of my new fav websites, Can I Play That?, which focuses on accessbility reviews of video games by disabled gamers. As someone with a dexterity/mobility disability in my hands (carpal tunnel) I NEED games that allow easy and convenient ways to push buttons to do stuff and let me rebind keys at will. I’m now checking Can I Play That? before buying games since their reviews are ++. They include accessibility reviews for deaf/hard of hearing and cognitive disabiliies too.
