angelic self care, according to sari, pt 2

- paint your nails an opalescent color for the Aesthetic™, if you’re into that - make yourself some rosewater for skin care (can post a tutorial if you want) - seriously, drink some water. consider adding fruit (I like lemons and strawberries with some mint in mine) - stretch. stretch your arms, your neck, your back, your wings if you can feel them. just take your time to really stretch when you get the chance - humming hymns under your breath - volunteering - if possible, spend some time roaming your local library reading about all sorts of things - spending time in nature, maybe even gardening - sitting outside on a sunny day, basking in the warmth and sounds around you - sitting in a car with the windows down while closing your eyes. it’ll feel like you’re flying! - if you don’t like Enochian, Latin is a great language to use and learn for angelic purposes - wearing some angelic fashion (whatever that means to you! for me, that means lots of golds, roses, earth tones, softer colors and textures, and flowy tops) - listening to choirs and getting lost in the harmonies because it echoes home - listening to chants and being reminded of times long lost - being as honest and loving as you can - being as fierce and protective as you can - wearing some light lotion that smells like temples and gardens the world forgot - just taking the time to breathe and love yourself

Today, I had a very nice memory. I was in a library perched upon the rail of a tall winding marble staircase and reading what looked to be a leather bound book. The walls around me were white and had intricate carvings in them. Above me there was a giant golden dome roof as well as more floors connected by the winding stairs. Below me there were other angels, moving about the library, walking through high arched doorways. Oh! And there was beautiful sunshine coming through tall windows. I was so absorbed in my book that when a taller angel (I think they were masculine presenting.) snuck up behind me I nearly fell off where I was sitting. We had a good laugh, but I don’t remember much of what he looked like, or a name.... ☆ ☆ ☆ And then the homesickness sets in.. I want to go home, and be with Father, my Lord. I want to be with the other angels again. I want to be welcomed home, and come back burning in my full glory and grace. I don’t know if I’m fallen, or perhaps just incarnate to this vessel needing to learn something but I feel lonely, and lost in this world.

angelic self care, according to Sari pt 1

- holy water in a spray bottle that I spray where my wings should be (I swear, this helps them stop feeling so strained. I like to add rose and frankincense oils to mine sometimes) - making your own sugar scrubs that smell like temples long forgotten - doodling Enochian seals on yourself (my favorites include protection sigils and energy boosters) - listening to gorgeous choirs and getting lost in the thick harmonies because it sounds like home - sitting outside on windy days - eating honey with everything - actually, just remembering to eat is super important, love your vessel - don’t forget to drink water! I also love iced green tea. - wearing golden highlight for the Aesthetic™ - singing hymns that humanity has long forgotten - meditating - just basking in the love of your friends and family - sitting in churches (edit: or any sacred place) and soaking up the energy - gardening, because creation is kind of glorious - reading poetry - just taking the time to breathe and get acquainted with your own body.

really cool and rare- a stained glass window that actually shows the several orders of angels, (plus some archangels)- PLUS each order has the correct amount of wings to match their sphere!! this is from bath abbey, and I was SO HYPE to find it. even cooler than the revelation ones I found. I super wish I could have gotten better pics, the window is quite high up. They are good quality, so you can zoom in quite a bit.

I'm new to the kin community as well and would love to meet more otherkin! I didn't realize I was angelkin until very recently.

I would love to meet some otherkin, I’m new to the community and such. 

I personally am voidkin, fallen angelkin (I also use the tag demonkin for that), godkin, and glitchkin, all in reference to my past life, which I am slowly updating the memories of on my blog. I’ve been having memories for quite a while, but I didn’t quite realize I was otherkin until recently. So, I am looking for friends.

I’m mostly looking for:

-Dietykin -Angelkin (Dark, Fallen, or otherwise) -Voidkin -Glitchkin -Faekin -Alienkin -Galaxykin -Celestialkin -Demonkin

Angel Help

- Next time you’re with friends, or in any situation in which you can, sit alone in the middle of the backseat of a car with all of the windows down. Close your eyes. It feels just like flying.

- Eat a spoonful of honey when you feel out of touch because it will warm you up and maybe help you remember what it was like when streams of gold ran through your veins.

- Find a place up high where you can look down at the earth the way you used to. Look at how close you are to touching the sky!

- Give yourself a break. Just because you’re in this body now doesn’t mean you should consider yourself any less holy or beautiful.
