I need help!
Tumblr media
To all my fellow witches, pagans, and spiritualists of all types—please send some good vibes to my boyfriend currently in the Philippines.
He’s just been admitted to the hospital two days before he’s meant to come home. The doctors think he’s severely dehydrated and lost a lot of electrolytes so they’re attempting to rehydrate him.
Please, if you can, send positive vibes for a speedy recovery and that the rehydration is all he needs.
I already gave an offering to Morgana for this. Combining my research into alchemy as a way of honoring her with a plea for his health as a way to do something.
Thank you for hearing me out!
Update:
My boyfriend just has a parasite and will make a full recovery! He was discharged from the hospital a small while ago with about five different medications to take for about a week or so. And he should be safe to fly home on schedule! Thank you to all those who have sent good vibes and positive energy his way!
(He says thank you as well!)
Have a wonderful rest of the full moon!

My six images from typing in my name and core on Pinterest. I have to say, it actually kinda fits well… even if I’m not as feminine as one would expect by the photos that popped up.

If we’re going with soul, I would say earth or fire, but more so earth. I’m finding, as I grow older, I tend to be an anchoring point in quite a few friend’s lives, tend to want to heal others, a place to set roots would be nice when I’m ready, and (surprisingly) I’m quite practical with more things than I originally thought.
Granted I also have emotions that burn bright and fast if uncontrolled. I tend to allow my emotions to control my actions at first before my right mind takes over—which I’m slowly working on to improve that because it’s gotten me into trouble before.
Hope this answers your question!

I bought myself a scrapbooking journal for Christmas with a gift card my boyfriend’s mom got me. I’m using it as a reading journal to catalog all the books I read throughout the year.
As I’ve started working with the Morrigan, the first audiobook to get crossed off the January TBR is Courtney Weber’s The Morrigan: Celtic Goddess of Magick and Might. As someone new to honoring this goddess, I have to say, I found the book quite helpful as a primer.
Aside from the popular translated and abridged Morrigan myths, the book involves anecdotes, some (if personally not enough for this history buff) Irish Celtic history to give context, brief quotes from other people who have a relationship with the Morrigan about their own experiences, and little DIYs to start making your own connection. It was accessibly written and didn’t shy away from either the harsher or the softer sides of the triplicate goddess.
Next up the Green Witch, finishing the Magician’s Nephew, and the book that deals with Floriography in the paintings in the Louvre.

My friends and I are a “coven” in the loosest sense of the word. We’re a group of friends who consider ourselves pagans and witches following different paths and just talking about it. If we need readings, we go to each other first out of trust and understanding that we wouldn’t bullshit each other.
We’ve been friends for a while before we agreed to do this and mainly, it’s been fun. We check in on each other daily and are more open with our lives and it’s kinda just a group of solitary witches checking in on each other and asking for advice.
So many people in local facebook witch groups starting a coven or wanting to join a coven with absolutely no information on what they are looking for, are interested in, or if they currently have a practice. The idea that you just randomly throw out there sometimes like that is fucking wild to me. It's so disjointed.

The Morrigan! I worked on it for almost two hours. The knife motif is due to a translation of The Morrigan’s name being made as “Keen Edge” according to Lora O’Brien. The scar is to represent one of the injuries she gained from Cuh Culaine (spelling is off). The wings are representing her associations with Crows and Ravens, while the Crown indicates her title as “the Great Queen”.

I completely understand. I like to joke that I got all of my dad’s health problems, but the constant back pain at 23? Probably somewhat genetic. I also need to replace my insoles now that I think about it.
Honestly at this point I just need to be slathered in tiger balm and then thrown down the stairs or smth. All my muscles are aching and I don't know why. Is this aging? Due to the cold weather? A mineral deficiency? Curse?

Oooh I might use this when I have time!
Starting with a New Guide Tarot Spread
Tumblr media
(I'm going to re-type all the questions under the cut in case anybody needs it for whatever reasons, I know they're kinda small on the image and the image description is not for it).
This is my main megaspread! I use it for when I'm, as it says, starting with a new guide -- but also when I'm checking back in after a year or so with old guides I feel need it (though I sometimes harvest some questions and not do it all).
I know it's long, but I hope at least one person likes it.
As with all my spreads, feel free to edit them to your liking, but if you re-post them or post your edits, please link back to this blog. Thank you! Happy reading!
Pull either all at once, in chunks, or one at a time, returning cards to the deck, for the last two depending on preference.
01 . Signifier Card 02 . Traits (1/2/3) 03 . Associations 04 . A story including them 05 . Personality description 06 . Kind of relationship they want
07 . What are the main things you wish to work on with me? 08 . ^ How do you suggest I work on these? 09 . What are your long term goals with me? 10 . ^ How do you suggest I begin to work toward these? 11 . What is your main aim for working together? (ex. improvement, learning, etc) 12 . What is something you want to warn me about? 13 . What is something you’re wanting me to encourage? 14 . What is something I need to learn? 15 . What are some positive traits of mine you want me to enforce? 16 . What are some negative traits of mine you want me to improve? 17 . What kind of person do you think I am? 18 . How do I stand to develop from your help?
19 . How would you typically describe yourself? 20 . What would you say your strengths are? 21 . What would you say your weaknesses are? 22 . How can I best honor you? 23 . How can I best notice you when you are present? 24 . How can I be more open to your messages? 25 . How can I deepen our connection? 26 . A main message, encouragement, and advice they wish to leave me with. (Draw one card each.)

IT’S HERE!!!!!
Homemade Pumpkin Spice Creamer!
Tumblr media
Hello, everyone! It’s Clover and I know it’s been a long while, but here is the Pumpkin Spice Creamer recipe for all my kitchen witches out there!
So the Pumpkin Spice creamer recipe is a bit of a spin on Jennie Blonde’s/the Comfy Cozy Witch’s Pumpkin Spice Syrup—my mom found out how much sugar goes into it and was like “NO! That is way too much sugar!”… and then proceeded to not fully wrap her head around it being a syrup versus a creamer. So, with her help, I tinkered a bit and came up with my favorite pumpkin spice creamer ever.
It’s great magickally as well, a lot of the spices used tend to have some sort of connection to abundance, vitality, and health—looking at you guys, Ginger and Cinnamon—as well as having some good relaxant effects on the brain (like Nutmeg). Plus a pinch of salt goes a long way to balance the taste and add a small bit of protection to anyone or anything!
Now, let’s talk about ingredients!
Tumblr media
What You Will Need:
1. Two cups of heavy cream
2. At MOST a can of condensed milk — as much to taste, but don’t exceed a can. Condensed milk has a lot of sugar.
3. Three-quarters cup of pumpkin puree (I used the canned puree but homemade is fine too)
4. Pumpkin Pie spice to taste
5. Pinch of salt.
6. A small saucepan
7. A funnel
8. A glass, air-tight jar – I used the bustelo instant coffee jar. (Side note, those jars are amazing! You can use them for anything!)
Tumblr media
Steps:
In a saucepan, pour two cups of heavy cream and stir as it’s brought to a low boil.
Pour the rest of your ingredients into the saucepan and continue to stir as creamer boils on low heat for about five to fifteen minutes.
Taste your creamer with a cup of coffee.
When finished, take your creamer off the stove and cool for an hour. Then take your glass jar, place a funnel on top to avoid spilling, and then pour the creamer into the jar.
Seal the jar up tight, and date it before putting it in the fridge. This lasted me for about a month.
Enjoy with your morning cup of coffee!
Tumblr media
How To Add Some Kitchen Witchery:
When I made this creamer, I mainly used it as a protection and abundance spell. The weather was slowly turning and the nights were getting longer. I decided to ask for protection and help with survival from the gods as my family and I are not in the best of financial situations. My parents are doing all they can to get us out of it relatively unscathed, and we still have our house which I am entirely grateful for, but I figured some prayers and magick wouldn’t hurt either.
Salt is a great seasoning for protection due to its cleansing properties (protecting you from infections and cleaning wounds), and its connection to the earth which is an element I always connect with stability and protection. As for the pumpkin pie spices, they include spices commonly associated with spells dealing with abundance—cinnamon, ginger, all spice, etc.
While the pumpkin, and squashes in general, get associated with protection and abundance in my head due to their tough skin and, in Indigenous Agriculture, their use in the Three Sisters Farming method which allows for a plentiful and healthy crop when paired with Corn and Lima Beans. (I learned about that fun fact from Braiding Sweetgrass. It’s a book I highly recommend as someone who had no knowledge of any American Indigenous culture beforehand.)
But what really makes this spell work is its dedication.
The Pumpkin Spice Creamer I dedicated to Sir Cei/Kay, King Arthur’s foster brother and Steward of Camelot (at least in the Death of Arthur).
Across Arthuriana, Sir Kay has a lot of roles—trusted right hand of Arthur, Steward, the boastful foster brother, cook, and teacher to the next generation of knights being a few. With this in mind, I always considered Sir Kay the Arthurian Deity/Spirit of Hearth and Home. He protects his family (Arthur, Guinevere, and the Knights of the Round Table), in some kinder versions of the mythos, is a good steward and cook, and has a soft spot for kids.
Therefore, as I mixed the pinch of salt in my spice bowl with pumpkin pie spice, I asked for his protection over my house. As I stirred the ingredients in the saucepan, I asked for his blessings to help us pay bills and to be able to make the money we need to live happily.
I asked him for wellness of hearth and home—meanwhile offering my creamer and cup of coffee I used it with every morning to him as a thank you.
And it worked, which is all I can ask for.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
The conclusion is quite simple. This Pumpkin Spice creamer was more of an act of honoring a hearth and home deity, as well as my own hearth and home in general, which makes this spell a lot more personal to write about. It worked because I wanted to connect with a certain deity that I felt a strong connection to despite not reading much about him yet.
Sir Kay slid easily into my life and practice as a Kitchen Witch that I was thoroughly surprised and thankful for. And honest to the gods, this creamer represents that entirely with how I made it and treated it.
But with that out of the way, I hope you enjoy it! If you make it, tell me how it goes and how much you liked it!
Sincerely,
Clover Constantine

Just bumping this to see if anyone that follows this blog has any ideas.
Also I should be writing the coffee creamer post this weekend. My family is hosting Christmas Eve so we’ve been busy.
Please Help if You Can!
Tumblr media
So the Morrigan has reached out to me, and, considering I feel more connected to her than I did with Lady Hecate, I am going to answer the call and hopefully have a better, longer-term relationship with the Morrigan.
With that said, I do need a bit of help.
I’ve started some preliminary research and was wondering if anyone who is working with or has worked with her had any tips? Like, I really can’t do a physical altar right now so would a devotional journal like my Arthurian Grimoire work? Is there anything specific she likes when she’s being reached out to?
Thank you in advance for your help!

Teach me your modern alchemical ways!
I just accidentally made un-tea?????
I made green tea, but I forgot there was an old bag of chai in the kettle, so I mixed chai water with decaf green tea, then I mixed in like a half table spoon or something of that honey from the dollar store that they aren't legally allowed to call honey because there's too much corn syrup in it and some almond milk and a single drop of coffee creamer because we ran out and???? It tastes like??? Nothing????
It has LESS flavor than my tap water! HOW do you EVEN-
I think I made a flavor that's only perceptible to shrimp, that's the only explanation

I wrote a “Left Shoe Jinx” that I never used, despite coming very close to it a few times—and once, right after fully comprehending the toxic relationship I was in and how (depending on who looked at it) abusive it was, I wanted to curse someone real bad. I never did either.
The left shoe jinx required me to know a person’s full name and the people I work with that I would use it on I only know the first name of.
The curse, well, at the time I was very much caught up in this idea that curses were never meant to be done—certainly not by a witch who never practiced the “black/dark” arts. I was still relatively new in the community and bought into a few racist ideas at the time (which I will openly admit). It took meeting people who walked these “darker” paths to realize they weren’t horrible people. They were people who just knew more than I did and understood that balance was key in all things.
They told me their stories, why they performed curses, years down the line.
They had similar stories to me—taken advantage of, felt worthless, felt unlovable because of how they were treated—but others did it for protecting their loved ones. Made peace with their pain but gods damn the person who hurt their friend, their child, etc. and I realized it helped them heal.
And maybe, just maybe, if I did it back then, it would’ve helped me heal too.
Like the other people in the reblog said, don’t deny yourself a chance at healing just because we’re told “Cursing is bad for XYZ”. Take the time to learn for yourself and decide for yourself. It may be useful later down the line, and you might thank yourself later.
I made that mistake. And it took me a while to realize that I would curse someone if I had to, and I’m okay with it. I consider myself a better witch for it because I learned and I know the seriousness of that statement.
Learn, it can only help in the long run.
Witch Tip
Dont deny yourself the right to write curses. Down the line they may evolve into excellent healing and protection spells. It’s silly to deny the human and neutral aspects of magic. Sometimes great things come out of the worst of times.

^^^ AGREED!
As someone who needs to take heart medication daily, it doesn’t make me less of a witch. It helps me be more of a witch because then I won’t have as high of a possibility overworking myself as I would without them!
Take your meds folks!
just wanna put this out there. taking your meds doesn't make you any less witchy or spiritual. you can still worship and speak to the gods of your choosing if you're taking medicine to make your health better (mental or physical). in fact they're probably happy you are taking care of yourself.

Yoinking for research purposes. Thank you OP!
could you tell me about arthur's bastard (and legitimate) children?
(Word of Caution: For various reasons, including inaccessibility of source materials, I am not fully read up on all the details of the source materials involving the following characters. Nor am I aware of all known children of Arthur. Therefore, I should advice discretion)
First are the two major sons, both of whom changed legitimacies as the legend evolved:
Mordred - Originally a nephew by Arthur's full sister Anna/Morgause in Historia Regum Britanniae, Mordred is later converted into Arthur's bastard son, conceived incestuously, in Vulgate Cycle. The Welsh Dream of Rhonabwy suggests that Mordred was fostered by Arthur (a normal practice of both Romans and Celts)
Loholt/Ilinot - First appeared in Erec and Enide and apparently based on the Welsh character of Llacheu, Loholt was originally a Legitimate son of Arthur by Guinevere in Perlesvaus and the German Tradition. But Vulgate Cycle alters this so that Loholt is instead another bastard son by a certain Lisanor prior to Arthur's marriage to Guinevere.
Next are the ones with Unknown Mothers (and thus of ambiguous legitimacy and relationship to Guinevere):
Amr/Amhar - Son of Arthur mentioned in Historum Brittonum as being killed by Arthur himself. His grave is described as naturally changing size with every look, implying supernatural influence. He is also mentioned in the Welsh Geraint, as one of Arthur's Four Chamberlains
Gwydre - Son of Arthur mentioned only in Culhwch and Olwen. He is killed by Twrch Trwyth alongside two maternal uncles of Arthur.
Llacheu - The most celebrated of the Welsh sons of Arthur, with mentions in Pa Gur, The Welsh Triads and other Welsh Poetic Material. Is usually identified with Loholt, with the Welsh adaptation of Perlesvaus - Y Seint Grail - being the most notable in that regard.
Duran - Son of Arthur only found in a 15th Century Welsh Manuscript, where he is said to have perished during the Battle of Camlann
Archfedd - Daughter of Arthur, found in the Welsh genealogical work Bonedd Y Saint, where she is said to have married Llawfrodedd, one of Arthur's warriors, and bore two children, Efadier and Gwrial
Apollonius, Iron and Hilde - Two sons and a daughter found in the 13th Century Icelandic Thidrekssaga.
Aristes - Son of Arthur mentioned in the Old Norse Mottuls saga
Legitimate Children of Arthur (Although not necessarily Guinevere's children)
Samson the Fair and Grega - Son and Daughter of Arthur by his wife, Queen Silvia. Both found in the Norse Samson saga fraga
Adeluf III, Morgan the Black and Patrick the Red - Three sons of Arthur, from Eldest to Youngest, from Rauf de Boun's 14th century chronicle, Petit Brut. Presumbly, sons of Queen Guinevere, but Rauf de Boun fails to mention the name of Arthur's wife. However, Adeluf III is made heir and assumes the Throne of England whilst Patrick and Morgan are given sizable inheritances in the form of Scotland and Wales. (Note: Wikipedia claims they're Arthur's sons by a fairy queen, but the cited source does not say so. Link to source HERE)
Seleucia - Daughter of Arthur by his first wife, Liscanor (Lisanor), in Jorge Ferreira de Vasconcelos' 16th century Portugese novel Memorial das Proezas da Segunda Tavola Redonda. (*This technically makes her the full sister of Lisanor!Loholt) She married Arthur's successor, Sagramor Constantino (a combination of Sir Sagramore and Constantine, son of Cador) and may have even bore a daughter, Princess Licorida
Huncamunca - Daughter of Arthur and his wife, Queen Dollalolla, from Henry Fielding's 1730 Tom Thumb play
Melora - Daughter of Arthur and Guinevere from the Irish romance Eachtra Mhelóra agus Orlando. One of the more well-known daughters of Arthur and one of the very few warrior women in Arthuriana.
Merevie/Smerbe/Smerviemore - Son of Arthur by his second marriage to a french princess, Elizabeth. Figures primarily in the genealogical legends of Scottish Clan Campbell, who claim descent from Arthur through Smervie.
Rowland, Ellen and Two unnamed older brothers - Certain versions of the Ballad of Childe Rowland and Burd Ellen portray them as the sons and daughter of Arthur and Guinevere, apparently due to the mention of Merlin.
Tryphine's son and daughter - A certain mystery play collected by François-Marie Luzel in 1863 merges Saint Tryphine from the Conomor legend with aspects of Queen Guinevere, with the primary antagonist being the lady's brother Kervoura. The two children are unnamed, but the son goes by an alias, "the Malouin"
Iduna - Daughter of Arthur and Guinevere from Edgar (1839), by Adolph Schutt
Blandine - Daughter of Arthur and Guinevere from Les Chevaliers de la Table Ronde (1937), by Jean Cocteau
Bastard Children of Arthur:
Kyduan/Cydfan - Son of Arthur by Eleich ferch Iaen. Mentioned in Culhwch and Olwen and Bonedd yr Arwyr
Arthur le Petit - Son of Arthur from Post-Vulgate, born of Arthur's deliberate rape of a daughter of Sir Tanas. Arthur le Petit serves as a "good" counterpart to Sir Mordred. He loyally serves his father incognito for many years and despises Lancelot's faction for causing the destruction of Logres. He is slain by Sir Bleoberis.
Tom a Lincoln - Eponymous hero of the 16th century romance Tom a Lincoln, by Richard Johnson. Son of Arthur by Angelica, a daughter of the Mayor of London. Fathers two additional characters, the Black Knight and the Faerie Knight.
Gyneth - Daughter of Arthur by a half-genie named Guendolen. From Walter Scott's The Bridal of Triermain (1813). A huntress whose Marriage competition results in the death of many knights including Vanoc, who is implied to be Merlin's son. As a result, Merlin puts her into an enchanted sleep for many centuries until her true love awakens her with a kiss.
And finally, those with a tenuous link to Arthuriana:
Nathalia - a supposed daughter of Arthur who accompanied St. Ursula according to De Sancta Ursula: De undecim milibus Virginum martirum (1183), by Herman Joseph
Baeddo - Wife of the Visigothic Spanish king Reccared. Claimed to be a daughter of Arthur by Compendio Historial, by Esteban de Garibay y Zamalloa
Tortolina - a daughter of Arthur according to Pantochronachanon (1652), by Thomas Urquhart

As extreme as it is for some (including me), do remember Morgan and Merlin are called gods in the Vulgate narrative. That said, they're both called that to highlight their "unchristianess" and "exoticness" to a medieval audience and isn't supposed to be taken seriously - there is no hard evidence of any association with any confirmed deities nor any real historical religious movements surrounding those two (despite the efforts of some scholars).
