If you ever find yourself getting upset about your stretch marks, Gwil traces them softly and calls them your “battle scars” or call them rivers.

Plus, since he is of Welsh descent, he loves dating you! You two can talk in Welsh and have Welsh in-jokes. You even text in Welsh and exchange Welsh curse words in front of the Bohrap cast, much to their confused amusement.

Since he is toll, he especially loves calling you “fy mach i”, “fy cariad bach” etc.

Request: Hey so over the past few years I’ve been recovering from anorexia but recently I’ve had a few relapses and I was wondering if you could write a ringo x reader where he helps the reader with her anorexia relapses and comforts her

A/N: I just wanted to apologise for taking so long to write this for you. The truth is, this story has been hard to write because it’s such an emotional story. I have had no issues with eating disorders and I hope I never will, and the same goes to all of my readers. If you do, I’m here to talk to, anonymously if you want. Also, I would just Luke to point out that I have had no experience with anorexia, I don’t know anyone who’s dealing with it, so if I portrayed it wrong or if I offended you, I’m so sorry, let me know and I will edit it. Thank you.

Warnings: Mentions of anorexia and eating disorders. I don’t recommend reading this story if you get easily triggered by these sort of things.

You made it part of your routine to thank the universe that Ringo Starr was in your life every single day. You might be dead or seriously ill if it wasn’t for your best friend.

Ringo had been your best friend for as long as you could remember. You were there when he got ill as a child, he was there when you experienced your first heart break, you were there when he joined The Hurricanes and then The Beatles. He was the one who noticed you getting ill, when no one else did.

Ringo went to get you help when you finally told him what was going on. Ringo was there for every minute of your recovery, he was there to celebrate when you were discharged.

But he wasn’t there when you cracked. He wasn’t there when you relapsed. He wasn’t there when anorexia came to haunt you once again.

Ringo was on a very long world tour at the height of Beatle Mania, he was very worried about leaving you for such a long time as he knew how vulnerable you were, but he had to go and you were sure you’d be fine on your own.

You were wrong. After about a month of Ringo’s absence your inner demons crept to the front of your mind and they began to control your thoughts.

You’re not good enough for him they told you.

You’ve put on so much weight.

You’re disgusting.

You don’t deserve Ringo.

He could do so much better than you.

Those thoughts came up more often. You spent more time in front of the mirror. The demons became louder in your head, and the longer Ringo was gone, the quieter his voice was inside your head, telling you not to listen to the hurtful thoughts.

You began calling him less, telling him less. You closed your mind off to everyone. You tried to close your mind off to the demons, but they still got inside your head and their hellish words got to your heart.

After a month and a half of Ringo’s absence, the demons began to control you. They began to control what, when and how much you ate.

After 2 months of Ringo being gone, you were back in the hell that you had done your best to avoid for the past 5 years. You had relapsed.

A month later Ringo came home. You didn’t meet him at the airport like you usually did. You didn’t want anyone else to see you. You barley left the house nowadays.

Ringo walked through the door, he called out your name, but there was no answer, so he went to your shared bedroom. The door was ajar, he could see you, looking at yourself in the mirror. He frowned. You were a lot skinnier.

“Darling?” He called out.

“Ringo! You’re home!” You exclaimed. You turned from the mirror and leapt into his arms. He embraced you, and you were so glad that he was home, he could help you like he did all those years ago.

He pulled away, taking is time looking at you. He scanned your weak body with sad eyes, and with the same expression, he looked into your eyes.

“Y/N, what happened?” And you just broke down sobbing into Ringo’s chest.

“I’m here now, darling.” He whispered into your ear as he carried your weak body over to the bed.

He later you down and sat next to you, tucking loose strands of hair behind your ear.

“Talk to me, Y/N.” You commanded gently.

“I’m s-sorry” You stuttered through your tears.

“There’s nothing to apologise for, doll. Just tell me what happened.”

You collected yourself and drew a deep breath.

“I relapsed, Ringo.”

“Why? What made you do it?” He asked, trying to get more answers, but his words were never harsh.

“Because I thought you’d never love me if I wasn’t perfect.”

“Y/N, to me, you’ll always be perfect and I would love you no matter what, I just want you to be healthy.” He reassured you.

He later down next to you and you snuggled into his warm, comforting body. Tomorrow, he would take you to get help again, and you would get better again, he would be there for you again, only this time, he would never leave, he would stay to watch you blossom.

You both have rather strong opinions, and Roger loves that about you. It’s also helps that you have similar opinions. You often get into really deep discussions about all aspects of life and they can get really heated, even if you both agree. One thing you don’t agree on is a love for musicals, but Roger would do anything for you, including going to see shows with you, but not without a bit of grumbling here and there. When you’re on stage, he’s your number one fan. Always at every performance watching you and only you ( though you tease him and tell him to watch everyone). He loves to watch you write and is always down to give you feedback. Sometimes he’s a bit more blunt than you’d like, but it always helps nonetheless.

Now this man, this man does like musical theatre. Well theatre as a whole, but theatre nonetheless. You guys are always on dates to shows every other weekend when you’re schedules allow it.
