Hello
I haven't been here for a long time
I hope you missed me~ ;)
I drew Mandarin in flowers... I like to draw monkeys when I want to relax. Something familiar...
Well dude... I hope you were good once
Sometimes I really imagine him as a nasty older brother who, although he loves the younger ones, doesn't show it

I KNOW RIGHT? BABY'S FIRST EXISTENTIAL CRISIS
SAME WITH I CHIRO
LIKE
YOU JUST GONNA KILL OFF A MAIN CHARACTER?
LIKE THAT?
FULL ON STAB IN THE HEAD?
The Halloween episode of Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go was not as scary as just about any other episode.
Also we don't talk about the code switching colon enough and it's wild how he got to appear in another episode.

"You know, maybe living in Jersey ain't too bad. At least we ain't Shuggazoom. What the hell is that eyeball thing?!"
The social media in the world of SRMTHFG must be wild to other planets.
Get like, so far back, like EARTH and they hear about all this crazy shit happening across the galaxy.
Frog rain?
EVIL SKELETONS INVADING?
A GIANT ASS SKY SKELETON?
ROBOT MONKEYS?
"Are the Shuggazoomians okay?" is probably a trending tag and to anyone local, they're like "Only in Shuggazoom City am I right?"

The Halloween episode where we expected it to get especially fucked up, turned out to be the most chill episode.
Meanwhile, every other episode was a new trauma for the team

"Deprecated Fandoms" Spam Bot Alert!
If you get a comment that says AO3 is "deleting works to conserve server space", that is a Spam Bot. There is no such thing as "deprecated fandom content", nor is there any limit on the number of works that can be posted to a fandom tag (regardless of how "popular" it is). AO3 has not changed its content policies. We are committed to upholding our founding principle of maximum inclusiveness of fanwork content, and will only remove content that violates the AO3 Terms of Service. While non-fanworks are not allowed on AO3, we consider both original works and real-person fiction to be fanworks. Please don't listen to anyone telling you otherwise.
Unlike the previous round of art spam, so far these comments have all been from guests, so our advice for handling them is different! We're working on filtering these comments out, and flagging them as spam is how you can help. Read more below the cut!
To help train our automated spam-checker to block similar guest comments in the future:
If the comment is on your own work:
Note: The "Spam" button only appears when viewing a guest comment directly on your work. This is because the AO3 comment inbox is merely a copy of the work's comments – deleting a comment from your AO3 inbox does not delete the comment from the work itself.
Go directly to the comment on your work, either by clicking on the link in your email or in your AO3 inbox.
Click on the "Spam" button to mark the guest comment as spam and remove it from your work.
That's it! You don't have to do anything else.
If you see comments like these on someone else's work:
Feel free to let the creator know the comment is from a bot and that they should mark it as spam.
You can also report the comments as botspam via the Policy Questions & Abuse Reports form linked at the bottom of every page on AO3.
If you are reporting multiple guest comments, please submit only one report and include all comment links in your report description. (You can get the direct link to any comment by clicking the "Thread" button on the comment, and then copying the URL of that page.)
AO3's Policy & Abuse committee (PAC) does not pre-screen content on AO3; they only investigate if they receive a report. All reports are reviewed by PAC volunteers, who are real human beings. You don't need to worry that your or anyone else's fanworks will be taken down due to a baseless report or a mass-reporting campaign.
If PAC were to determine that you had violated the TOS, you would receive a notification of the violation via the email address associated with your AO3 account—not via comments, social media, or any other method.

[Image ID: A monkey team comic. Chiro is out walking with the hyperforce in his civilian clothes. He turns and asks them, "So...I'm the only human you guys ever talked with?"
"Indeed," answers Antauri, "I believe it is due our mutual connection through the Power Primate that allows us to understand one another."
Nova remarks, "It sure makes things a lot easier!"
"Then how did you communicate with people before?"
Gibson explains, "Oh, you would be surprised by how far simple gestures can carry a conversation."
The scene shifts to random citizens close by with shocked expressions. It is revealed that they are watching the hyperforce's conversation, only they see the entire team, including Chiro, jumping around and acting like feral monkeys all the while jabbering "ook ook eek eek ah!" /end ID]
You know how regular people that don't understand the monkeys see them as regular monkeys? What if Chiro looks like that when he's speaking to them?

In case anyone gets any ideas, since this inbox almost got shut down too, since whoever was sending me gore, also found this blog for a dead show and sent it here too.
This is the one warning I will give before putting asks back on
The first time I get a rude anon or ask, they're getting shamed. Publicly. I am not going to play nice.
You act like an ass, I will treat you like an ass.
If I get sent gore, ship hate, OC hate, or character bashing in my inbox, I will give a swift reminder, that ANONS CAN BE BLOCKED. You can be IP blocked from someone's account this way.
I don't wanna have to open up my inbox with guns prepped to blaze, but I'm really fucking sick of how I get treated in fandom sometimes.
So
Behave
I'm not joking around. I'm not going to put up with anyone's bullshit.
If I have to make a post about this on my other blogs, I will NOT be happy.

Things that I think about more then I should
(This is me trying to get past the fact, that I'm still burnt out)
Chiro, genuinely struggling for a long time to get his powers under proper control. Like, this kid runs on literal electricity and life energy. The heart has it's own electrical signal, it's literally coursing through him. I wonder if it makes him more attune to heartrates in others, or if there is sometimes a worry he'll over do it one day. At the same time, the rhythm in his chest, is the answer to a lot... Listening to his heart, his instincts, helps him in so many ways.
I've floated the idea before, that he should be encouraged by the team, to just play with his powers, let him have a moment like this:
But with his powers. He's a kid, kids are going to wanna play with their powers, if they're lucky enough to have them. He wanted to be a superhero his whole life and named one of his attacks AFTER HIS OWN NAME. There was absolutely a period of time, where he was just being a goofy kid, playing and just showing the team waht he could do beyond just what they expected.
But also, the downside... what are the draw backs? We're never really shown what happens when someone has basically a constant shock to their system. Is he more sensitive to electrical fields?
Also, why I wish Sparx and Chiro just genuinely had more scenes. For as much as we see the training room used, I wish Sparx had been given a chance to teach and have it be taken as seriously as Antauri's lessons. Feels like we only really see Chiro being taught stuff actively a few times through the series, the rest is learning on the job which isn't bad, but I would've wanted to see these scenes too. Sparx's powers mirror Chiro's to a T, specifically, it would've been nice seeing Chiro learn how to really manage his own powers, because Sparx was used to his weapons being very similar.
Showing him how to control it and honestly, something I'll probably edit into my own works as well as time away has made me think about stuff all over again, but we're not talking project stuff rn lol
I think a lot about how Chiro's powers could also be a reflection of his mood, how he had to learn to really focus. Like, what made him focus specifically on his communicator pin and the more I thought about it... His hand always goes to his heart, not the pin. For the longest time I thought the pin was like Sailor Moon's compact.
Instead, no it's a tool like everything else. It's Chiro's powers doing that, but it's focusing on that part of him.
I think, he's also an empath to some level, people are drawn to him and vice versa... His ability to sense things, will likely exceed even Antauri's one day.
But anyways, sorry I went on so long.
Just some thoughts.

Things I wish we could've seen
Chiro playing with his powers.
not, being irresponsible, but just using that power and really tapping into it. Let him feel that strength, show how he can manipulate and control that wild, electric energy coursing through him like no big deal.
We were robbed of more Sparx and Chiro training scenes, because frankly, THIS KIDS POWER SET MATCHES A LITTLE TOO WELL to not have that.
Moments where the team, realize he's got too much energy and it's not necessarily a bad thing, but overkill is a thing and maybe unleashing wave after wave of electricity to make a horde of Formless explode, isn't exactly good for him.
Let that boy learn how to float. We see it exactly once.
Let him float
Let him have FUN with his abilities without it being seen as being irresponsible, let him see he can be playful and still effective on the battlefield. Let him be a kid!

Photo
(full view of the image for much better quality)
The show never really reveals the space of the Torso Tank Driver 1 since it’s indicated by an orange backdrop with white shapes to define wires and buttons. It also doesn’t indicate how Chiro gets in so it makes entry open to the audience. I don’t think he drops into it like the rest of the team. Rather, he drops into another part and has to walk to it.
My idea is that it was old and re-adjusted for Chiro using things like workstation parts and gaming chairs. It also has plenty of monitors, a cup holder, and is highly organized. Some parts were modified to hold computer cables like office shelves and gas chromatographs. The front was rebuilt from an old arcade machine. Basically, everything was modified to fit his body.
I kinda imagine him being more of a Windows person than Mac fan even though those wouldn’t exist for the world of the show(eyy future)
Though I definitely need to improve on the vehicle drawing, I’m so happy with the result, but really glad that I was able to finish one.
