Nope, not me being emotional all over again over this from an early Excalibur issue as Kitty mourns her deceased friends the X-Men (Who weren't actually dead) and Doug "Cypher" Ramsey (Who was).

Courtesy of BOOM!, AIPT can announce the classic three issue 1983 comic book adaptation of Jim Henson’s The Dark Crystal from writer David Anthony Kraft (The Savage She-Hulk) and artists Bret Blevins & Vince Colletta is getting a restored version and returning to print as part of the BOOM! Studios Archive Edition line. Available in comic shops on July 3, 2024. The restored version will also feature a variant cover by Frany. (Right)

A Victorian Robin piece from British artist David Hitchcock. I liked the idea of the Batman of "Gotham by Gaslight" getting a Robin, so imagined that in that timeline, Dick Grayson might have been a chimney sweep rescued from the business by Bruce, and given a new life where he could make use of his size and rooftop running skills to much greater effect

(A notoriously cruel occupation, children were literally sent up chimnies to clean them from the inside, because they were small enough to fit. They were dramped, choking on soot and dust and generally treated like dirt, with the additional stress of it being very bad for their health.)

As a cover, a small child in a chimey brush would go pretty much anywhere unnoticed, because no one would pay attention to them. And, of course, carrying a brush is a perfect way to hide a bo staff when you have some payback to deliver.
