I know it's just because AFO probably heard the whispers about what Overhaul had been doing and that's the reason why he gave information to Tomura, because he is a growing threat to him. But with the new information we've had confirmed and how I always felt strange with how Tomura said AFO gave him information about Overhaul before they met makes me think there is something more to it.

AFO kept tabs on Overhaul, whether it's because Kai was a backup vessel or knew about his goals and how it was progressing, and there's so much more that isn't being said about Kai. So much information not answered.

Did AFO copy his quirk and work with Ujiko to split it for Tenko to get? Did AFO combine two quirks to form Overhaul after handing off "decay" to Tenko? How long was Kai in Ujiko's orphanage/medical facility? What caused him to leave so the Boss could find him?

can you imagine how weird it must have been for the rest of the hassaikai when the oyaji took chisaki home for the first time. "is that a child?" "sure is" "where did he come from?" "i found him on the street :)" and you can't question him cuz he's The Boss. meanwhile this highly traumatized autistic child is staring at you like a feral cat and barely responds when you try to talk to him
