Ok so imma go on a little tangent here because I noticed something.

Each of the four lords basically embodies a genre of horror in a sense.

First: Lady Dimitrescu

She lives in grandeur, a big castle, servants, dresses and acts aristocratic. She represents the classic gothic horror. Inspiration can be seen all across the castle, the letters from the servants, her daughters and their weapons, etc.

Second: Donna Benevento

She represents mainly paranormal horror, but with a touch of psychological mixed in. Creepy dolls that talk and float, the baby creature and the ethereal feel of the graveyard before the house are good points for this. The biggest one in my mind in the radio messages we get from Mia. They gave me an edge of The Omen mixed with The Boy. Something seems paranormal, but it could just be in your head.

Third: Salvatore Moreau

He represents to grotesque side of horror. Body horror, most likely. Body horror relies on the fear of not being able to trust one's physical sense of self, and the fact its clearly stated Moreau has no control over his mutations is evident of this. He gives me a vibe of Gyo by Junji Ito to be completely honest.

Forth: Karl Heisenberg

I believe he is considered the youngest because his genre is a bit newer compared to the others. Yes, he is inspired by Frankenstein, but look at his machines.

They give off more of a Saw vibe, don't you think?

He represents the horrors of man playing God, twisting the human body and/or human morals to get the results he wants. The rugged, powerful look of his factory, how bleak it looks and intimidating it seems, it relates a lot to more to man made terror.

But these are just my thoughts. Please feel free to add onto this, as I know that there's more to be explored here. <3

Honestly this hurts to see a follow artist been flamed for shipping what they enjoy. Not being toxic to any other ships. But just minding there own business. Producing their own content for our little community to enjoy. For those people that purposely go around ruining artist work. Be mindful there is a lot of heart that goes into these pieces. You may not enjoy it. That's fine just move on and do your thing. Because we out here and we still gonna enjoy it regardless lol. Because in the end, you look like a idiot, untalented kid that's probably never been breastfeed. Hence why you don't have a ounce of manner in you. So think before editing in that thing you call paint, that's probs from windows 98 lol. I love you're work curl 🥺💖

idk i just fell in love with this prompt im gonna make a whole ass story about them now lol

To be honest before I came across this quote about trust and love, they said “”I trust you” is better than “I love you” because you don’t always trust the person you love but you will always love the person you trust.” I never understood it until later on and it now applies to rivamika.

This is why I will pick rivamika over and over again.

And I disregarded that as a cringy quote but now I have my eyes fully open to it thanks to Levi and mikasa’s relationship. Mikasa loves eren and no body is denying that but she lost her trust in him several times and now. In the end she couldn’t choose him over everyone else because what she and armin had trusted him to be he had betrayed and acted on his own. Not only that if you think hard enough you will know that from the very beginning mikasa didn’t trust eren to be by himself. She had always been afraid of eren running off on his own.

Levi and mikasa’s relationship is so special because it’s built up on trust and purely trust alone. From erens safety both of them trusted one another over it. To staying alive, no body but them two can rely on each other to do that much. Mikasa has always trusted Levi to take her side or at least do what’s right. Hence why she often looked shocked when Levi said anything about sacrificing eren however in the last few chapters mikasa didn’t seem surprised because she knew Levi was right and there was no other choice. Which is also why as anon @gilly-bj ‘s ask mentioned, mikasa did not seem shocked when yelena announced Levi’s defeat. Again, they trusted each other to stay alive.

In the end my point is that anyone who does not see their unbreakable trust in each other will deny their connection and their possibility of loving each other. Because mikasa’s feelings for eren did not have a solid base, but with Levi they already have so much trust and care for each other, there’s a foundation, there’s development and growth but most importantly there’s potentiality for a future of love. Something her relationship with eren CLEARLY lacks.

Therefore I have reasons to believe rivamika is a stronger ship than the others and not only because they are the last two alive.
