Thatâs what I forgot to addâ
Why would you marry or get into a serious relationship with another vampire, knowing that their mate could be out there and that they will most likely cross paths? All you are doing is setting yourself up for heartbreak and also the mate for making the male not wanna leave you for her. Even though destiny has already decided they belong together.

Something was definitely going on now, if it wasnât already.
They sat at their table in the cafeteria, together but not interacting. Alice was looking anywhere but at Jasper, and Jasper seemed starved for her attention. He glanced at you, darting his eyes away when you noticed, almost as if he was ashamed. Aliceâs gaze locked with your own mere seconds after, her gorgeous golden eyes pierced with pain. Even after spilling their secrets to you last night, they were still keeping something for themselves. You reflected on what Jasper told you before he left last night.
Itâs important that you seek her when youâre ready to listen⊠Youâll like what she saw for you.
Jasperâs words, the distance between them both⊠Could it have something to do with that vision? Frowning at Alice, who was still staring back at you, you stood up and walked out of the cafeteria; knowing that she would follow behind you.
Minutes later, Alice met you by the drinking fountains outside a block of classrooms. Her hair, always styled to perfection, was slightly messy; but that in itself was enough to tell you that whatever had been going on last night had gotten worse. As she walked towards you, it was like she suffered more with every step.
âIâm sorry for freaking out last night, I-â
âDonât apologise for that. Itâs a lot to take in at once for anybody.â She forced a smile. You didnât trust her.
âWell, Iâm sorry. Iâve upset you and Jasper with my actions.â You paused. Was now the right time to ask for the rest of her vision? You took the plunge, anyway. âI hope itâs not an inconsiderate time to ask, but Jasper told me I needed to find out more of what you had to say? I shouldnât have stormed off like that, and he made it sound like I missed something important back there.â
â(Y/N), only if youâre ready to listen, can we get away from here and go someplace a little more private?â For the first time, you noticed, Alice Cullen seemed human. No longer the paradigm of devastating perfection, Aliceâs straight brows furrowed, and she toyed with her fingers. Giving her a nod in response, Alice led you away from the school and into the forest you had refused to follow Jasper into only yesterday. But this time, it was different. You knew the Cullens would not kill you, as much as they may want to. Something about Edward struck him as the hypocritical type who would campaign for your death to protect their secret, yet protect Bella at all costs in the same breath.
âHe said Iâd like what you saw for me. What does that mean?â

Can I ask for an Emmett drabble? You both like each other and he sees you in a bikini for the first time? Maybe a party or you're shopping or something. Thanks
Emmett x Reader
A/N: Not sure if this is too long to be considered a drabble, but here you go!
It was late in the morning and you stood in a changing room overflowing with different sets of swimwear. Youâd developed since last summer and your only choice was to buy new bathers or risk popping out. Enlisting Alice to help you find something seemed like a great idea at first; but now there were hangers upon hangers of clothes to try on and you were certain youâd gone over the change room limit.
âAlice,â you said through the red curtain, âwe just came for a new bikini. I donât need new dresses and tops.â
âDonât be silly, (Y/N),â you heard her mutter from the other side, âyouâll look perfect in all of it! You need an upgrade for your summer wardrobe, anyway.â
She wasnât wrong. You had liked the way you looked in the few dresses Alice had wrangled you into. They were bright and patterned, perfect for summer. But that wasnât what you came for.

I loved your Jasper fic about having a baby! It had me in tears! Could you write a one shot that is a prequel to that in which Jasper realizes that the reader has fallen in love with him too because he could feel their emotions despite the reader trying really hard to hide it from him? Thank you!!!
Jasper x Reader
A/N: Iâm so happy you enjoyed that fanfic and I absolutely loved this request! Iâm sorry this isnât exactly what you asked for. Itâs more on the verge of a drabble, and it isnât a direct prequel to The Fight. I tried it as a one-shot at first but it felt forced trying to squeeze it out, so I kept it as a drabble because it came out more organically. Iâd rather give you a natural drabble than an awkward one-shot. I hope this was worth the wait!
It wasnât easy hiding your emotions from somebody who specialised in reading them. It was even harder when their ability to do so verged more upon the lines of a superpower. Yet, somehow youâd made it this far.
You were one of two non-supernatural beings who knew the secret the Cullens kept from the rest of the town. From the rest of the world. It was something youâd figured out almost entirely on your own. You had known they werenât human - but vampire wasnât your first guess either. It was Alice who confirmed it for you.
Still, sometimes you wondered how the Cullens would react, one in particular, to your secret. You were falling in love with Jasper.
Edward knew all about it, but Bella promised you sheâd keep his mouth shut. You werenât ready. What if he didnât feel the same way? What if he felt your emotions and distanced himself out of discomfort? To avoid this, it was you who did the distancing.
Back when it was just a meagre crush it wasnât so bad. Edward confirmed that Jasper was only picking up feelings of happiness and mirth, thus was the reason he gravitated around you. But as that crush morphed into something more real and long-term, you were terrified that Jasper would realise it before you were ready.
âItâs not love, (Y/N),â said Edward as you stood in the school parking lot. âHe senses panic whenever youâre around him now.â
âThen Iâm succeeding.â You replied. Both of you were leaning against Bellaâs old truck. He was waiting for her and you seized the opportunity to squeeze out more information.
âBut donât you want to start a relationship with him? I donât understand why youâre hiding from him.â He looked up at the dark grey clouds forming overhead. âI know youâre afraid of being thrown into a situation you arenât ready for. Why donât you try to spend time with Jasper? So what if he realises how you feel about him?â
Edward wasnât wrong. It felt like you were waiting to cross a busy highway and once you made it to the other side, youâd never be able to go back. Youâd be stuck. Regardless of if you liked it on that side.
It was a complicated way to be.
âThen what do you suggest?â
âI suggest you spend time with him. He thinks youâre afraid of him, you know. I wonât betray his privacy. Though I can say heâs thinking you donât like him at all.â
Your stomach sunk. You could at least try.
He was standing over by Emmettâs jeep, also waiting. It couldnât hurt to say hello. Edward gave you a look before you nodded and walked towards Jasper. He smiled when he saw you.
â(Y/N),â he started, âit has been a while.â
âYeahâŠâ You trailed off; you were a mixture of awkwardness and anxiety. âHow have you been?â
If Jasper was picking up on the discomfort he didnât show it. You were grateful. But was it worth him thinking you didnât like him at all?
âIâve had better days.â He replied curtly though not unkindly. Before you could ask him what was wrong, Emmett and Rosalie appeared. Emmett rustled your hair.
âNeed a lift, (Y/N)?â His deep voice cut through the tension.
You spared a glance at Edward, who gave you an intense knowing look. âSure.â
You slid into the back seat and buckled your seatbelt; feeling too awkward to just stand there while the three of them spoke. You couldnât hear much with the doors closed, not that you wanted to eavesdrop. Jasper walked away. Rosalie slid in the front passenger seat.
âHe has to go to the office. Weâre sitting here until he gets back.â Her lips were tight. She didnât look impressed.
âOh, okay.â You didnât know what else to say to her. The two you sat in silence until Emmett jumped into the driverâs seat, turned on the battery, and pumped music through his speakers.
The car shook with each thump of the bass. Your teeth were vibrating. He turned his head to you and grinned. âNew sound system.â
âI regret installing it,â Rosalie added. âHe never turns it off. Sometimes he sits there in the garage blasting songs at full volume.â
âWhat Rose means to say is that sheâs grateful for the never-ending entertainment and joy I bring her.â
Rosalie rolled her eyes. âWhatâs taking him so long?â
âHe needs to sort his electives.â
âThe office is right around that corner.â
âThe office ladies are slow.â
It was interesting to observe the banter between Rosalie and Emmett. It was a mixture of lighthearted jokes at the expense of others and old-couple bickering.
â(Y/N),â Rosalie called on you, âbring him back within seven minutes or weâre leaving.â
You slid out of the black Jeep and walked over the wet asphalt towards the front office. You could see Jasper through the glass doors talking to a middle-aged woman with dyed red hair and plenty of greys. Emmett was right. The lady moved slower than you thought was possible. You were about to walk in to let him know you had to leave soon but stopped in your tracks when you saw a girl approaching him.
The older woman had stopped talking to Jasper to use the photocopier in the back corner behind the service desk; and in those short moments a girl in his year level had taken no hesitation in rushing to his side. Her hair was ebony black and thick, and she wore a tight top with a short skirt. Very inappropriate for such a rainy day. You could feel yourself getting jealous. The girl was toying with the hem of her skirt, exposing her upper thighs. Jasper smiled politely. His honey-filled eyes seemed to gleam. They exchanged a few sentences; each movement of their lips making you see green.
You didnât hate the girl. You didnât even know the girl. The only reason you thought poorly of her was because she was talking to your crush so effortlessly. She could remain calm and composed when you couldnât. She flipped her hair and laughed at all the right moments. You didnât want to look. It was difficult to watch yet another girl flirt with the person you were falling in love with. Jasper snapped his eyes towards yours in a flash of surprise. You stared back like a deer in headlights. He knew. The love and jealousy had seeped out of you above all else. He knew you liked him.
You turned away to flee. As fast as you could, you walked towards the corner, only to be yanked back by a powerful force by the elbow. You spun around. Jasperâs face was only inches from your own. His eyes were darker; more intense. It was as if your heart stopped beating.
âHow did you hide this from me?â He asked. You said nothing. Your voice was held hostage by the panic that rushed through your veins. âWhy didnât you tell me?â
Jasper was holding you by the shoulders. You looked up at him, wide-eyed, and stammered out, âI thought you wouldnât like me.â
âI thought you couldnât stand me.â His voice broke.
âI know.â
He pulled you into a strong hug. The two of you held each other in silence. Tears were pricking your eyeballs. Then, he said it. âI feel the same way about you.â You almost collapsed. âIâve been falling in love with you more every day, (Y/N). It was so hard. You always projected fear and discomfort. I thought you hated having me around.â His eyes brimmed with a mix of relief and melancholy.
âIâm sorry, Jasper.â
He placed his forefinger beneath your chin and brought your mouth closer to his. âMay I kiss you, ma'am?â He set his Southern drawl free - the one he usually kept hidden under a false accent. You melted.
âOf course.â
Against yours his lips were like magic. They were cold at first, but absorbed your warmth the longer you kissed each other. He traced your jawline with the utmost care and gently tangled his fingers in your hair.
Suddenly, your phones buzzed. You pulled them out and saw you had both received the same blunt text from Rosalie.
Good luck walking home before it rains again.
A charming smirk pulled at Jasperâs lips. âI take it she enlisted you to bring me back on time.â
âI didnât do very well.â
âNo matter.â He rested his forehead against yours. âIt gives us plenty of time to do this.â
He brought his lips back to yours and kissed you again as if nobody was watching.

The Fight
Jasper x Reader
Request: would it be ok to request a one shot w heavy angst??? tbh I donât mind what kind of angst but maybe with Jasper??? âŠ. human reader, maybe upset because reader wants a kid even after what happened to Bella?
Word Count: 2355
A/N: Sorry this came out later than I promised - there were so many issues with tumblr. No matter how hard I tried, I just couldnât fix those problems. So, Iâm sorry about the absence of a âread moreâ cut on this fic - I know how annoying it is when a long fic clutters up your dash but thereâs really nothing else I could do. Every time I inserted a cut, the text went spastic and this is the only solution I could come to.Â
Thunder cracked as the rain slashed against the windows with a vengeance. It had been stormy all day, and it didnât seem like it would ease up soon.
You sat alone in the room you shared with Jasper. Heâd gone out hunting with the rest of the Cullens, leaving you unattended with your thoughts. The only other person at home was Renesmee; sleeping in her parentâs cottage off the main grounds. How on Earth were you going to tell him that every time you looked at Edward and Bellaâs daughter, you craved to have your own?
Those desires had all but overrun your mind. Whenever you watched Edward give Renesmee a piano lesson, or when Bella put her to sleep with a bedtime story, you wanted it; and it hurt to know it would never happen for you and Jasper unless you said something.
But with this, your courage was fickle. It came and went with each beat of a butterflyâs wing. You had rehearsed it in your head so many times. Yet, despite it Edward and Alice, who youâd sworn to secrecy, could offer no comfort. There were no visions. Jasper had never thought about it.
You had not imagined how much you could want something; what the limitations were. You longed for a child with Jasper more than anything and you werenât getting changed into a vampire until after at least asking. And when Jasper asked you how you felt about being changed, you realised you were running out of time.
Even when you looked at Rosalie, so entranced by Renesmee, and at Esme, who also looked at the girl with a glint in her eye⊠You feared youâd regret being childless; and until it happened to Bella and Edward you didnât know it was even a possibility.
So despite the raging storm outside, you sat in your bedroom with a hot drink and gazed at the steam twirling away from the mug in your hands. You didnât bother rehearsing it; you wanted Jasper to see how genuine you were. So, you took a sip from your drink and waited.
*
Jasperâs icy lips smashed against yours as you lay next to him on the bed, water droplets from his hair dripping onto your face. He was back early. He rushed his hunt because he didnât like being apart from you. You wondered if heâd grow more attached if you were pregnant. Jasper stiffened, his muscles tensed but his fingers remained light and gentle against your skin.
âWhatâs wrong, (Y/N)?â He asked you, his topaz eyes hardened. You took a shaky breath. âI can sense youâre nervous and afraid. Am I doing something wrong?â
âNo, no,â You were quick to reassure him. âIâŠâ
Your tongue betrayed you. It felt like it refused to move when you tried to tell him the truth out loud. He looked at you expectantly.
You tried again, âI want to⊠talk about something.â Jasper didnât speak, and only nodded his head. You took another unsteady breath.
âIâm getting worried, (Y/N).â
âItâs nothing bad,â Your throat tightened, âI want to run an idea by you.â
âIâm listening.â
âAll right⊠so,â You were fidgeting with the hem of your shirt, âI⊠thereâs this thing, something I think we could both love.â His face was unreadable. Jasper offered no clues as to what he thought you were talking about. You cleared your throat. Your palms were sweating. âA baby.â
He didnât say a word, only held your gaze - as if he was searching for something. But the expression on his face when he found what he was looking for set you back. It was one of betrayal, almost. âYou donât mean adoption, do you (Y/N)?â His voice, normally smooth and gentle, now held the sharpness of a knife. Hard. Harsh.
âNo.â He moved away from you in an instant, his cool skin abandoning yours as he jumped to the other side of the room. His scarred hands gripped at the windowpane, splintering the freshly painted wood with a deafening crack. You flinched, unable to help it.
You could hear your own heart beating and blood was roaring in your ears, frozen in place as you watched Jasperâs internal fight to remain composed.
He remained facing away from you, staring out the window. He kept clenching and releasing his jaw, and said through gritted teeth, âHow can you even suggest it?â
You wanted to cry. âI wanted to ask you, Iâm not forcing you into any solid-â
He was suddenly towering over you. âI will not watch you live in torture for months only to die a painful death and leave me with something I didnât ask for!â
âThatâs why Iâm talking to you about it! Iâm not making you commit to anything, itâs just an idea!â
âWell itâs time to get that stupid idea out of your head because I will not do it.â
Youâd never seen Jasper so livid before. He was seething. His eyes were electric - matching the unforgiving lightning in the clouds. His fists clenched so tightly his marble skin might have cracked.
âI was right,â you snapped, âI knew I shouldnât have mentioned it.â
âYou really shouldnât have.â
âYou know what? Sometimes I feel like this is a one-way street. Like my options are so limited. Vampirism or death. Thatâs it. Thatâs all youâre able to offer me, isnât it? Why canât I offer one choice to the table for once? Something different, something good-â
âNo good will come of this, (Y/N)!â
âOh, why bother talking to you anymore! You wonât even let me speak!â
âYouâre speaking nonsense, thatâs why!â
âWow, great to know you think my thoughts and desires are so stupid. Get out, Jasper. I want to go to sleep.â
You glared at each other, the electricity was off the charts. Finally, he gave in and left the room without so much as a goodbye. You curled up your knees to your chest and held them, trying to breathe through the tears that now dominated your body with each violent shake.
*
Staring into space, you sat in the Cullenâs lounge room on the couch. You had been perched there for hours, since you woke up, waiting for Jasper to get back. You had so much trouble sleeping the night before. Your bed was too soft, too warm without him beside you.
It was three in the afternoon and there was still no sign of Jasper. Edward had told everyone what had happened on your behalf. Your stomach curled even thinking about it. Did Jasper really think you were stupid?
None of the Cullens had approached you about the fight - giving you the space you needed but werenât sure you wanted. Rosalie and Esme floated around here and there to be present but they didnât make you talk about it.
âWhat do you think?â You asked them as they hovered in the doorway from the kitchen. They exchanged a look, but said nothing. You prompted them again. âAm I stupid for asking him?â
Esme frowned. âYou arenât stupid, (Y/N), please never say that.â
âWe understand the want for a child better than anyone. If I had the chance to be human for a few months so that Emmett and I could have a baby together, I would take it.â Rosalie sat on your left side while Esme occupied the right.
âItâs a difficult situation to be in.â Esme added.
âBut, even though I would want to take that opportunity, (Y/N), it would destroy Emmett.â Rosalie held your gaze in her own. âYou would remember how terrible Edward looked and felt when Bella had to go through it. He thought she would die. He believed he was murdering her. The one person he wanted to protect was treading the line because of him. Jasper could feel all of Edwardâs emotions, (Y/N), he knows what it felt like. He knows what Bella felt like.â
Esme cupped your hands in hers. âJasper is a lot more sensitive than he looks. You know that. During his time in our family he has never acted out like that. Heâs afraid.â
Your heart sunk. They werenât wrong. You needed to talk about this together again, this time in a calmer setting. There was a lot to work through.
*
The golden morning rays of sun slanted through the blinds and into your eyes. It was blinding. You yawned, provided yourself with the comforting tingle of a morning stretch. Tossing the lonely blankets to the side, you made your way to the window. Jasper still hadnât shown his face around the house and it was getting beyond a joke. You wondered if he was even coming back for you at all.
Twirling the pull-string with your fingers you stared out at the surrounding forest as you closed the blinds - only to slow to a halt at the sight of familiar strawberry blonde hair.
You felt a kick of adrenaline, you werenât sleepy anymore. You were relieved. Jasper was okay, you would be okay. You threw on a dressing gown and hurried downstairs to greet him in the yard. His granite body collided with yours as you threw yourself into his arms, holding him close. His arms awkwardly held your sides and pushed you off of him.
Frowning, you looked up to him for an explanation, but Jasper avoided eye contact and walked right past you, just as tense as he was the night you two had fought. Your heart didnât sink. It burned.
You thought heâd just need time to come around. That maybe Jasper was feeling awkward because of the fight and he needed to relax. But he was bantering with Emmett and smiling with Esme. He was interacting with everybody else like nothing had happened - like he hadnât even disappeared.
You spent the rest of the day and most of the next feeling completely alone. You didnât even bother coming down from your room. Jasper didnât care anymore. Your desire to start a family with him seemed to be the straw that broke the camelâs back - the very back you werenât even aware was at risk of breaking. You thought the two of you had been fine. Apparently you were wrong.
So, on the third day of his return you cornered him in the hall and asked the question that had been eating away at your mind since he pushed you away. âAre you going to break up with me?â Jasperâs face was unreadable, even to you. He parted his lips as if to speak, but was silent. âThatâs all I needed to know.â
You turned away from him and ran back upstairs to his room, the one that was no longer yours to share. All but blinded by the hot tears in your eyes your fumbled around with your belongings as you stuffed what you could into a carry bag. You supposed youâd move back into your family home if they hadnât changed your old bedroom - or even stay in a motel if they had. Anywhere but here.
Sobs racked through your body, causing you to double over in agony. He didnât want you anymore. You were officially broken up. It was all over. It was like a dream turned into a nightmare.
You could hear Jasper arguing with somebody downstairs, but you didnât care enough to listen in. What was the point? Heâd decided. You slung the carry bag over your shoulder and tried to dry your now soaking face. It felt like you were drowning.
It was impossible to compose yourself by this point. No matter how hard you tried, you were just a wreck. How could you let him impact your life so greatly? How could anyone love this much?
â(Y/N).â His voice sounded worn. You didnât turn to look at him as he stood in the doorway, hovering like he was ready to bolt at any moment. He was quiet for a few moments as if he was waiting for you to say something, but you didnât want to speak. Your voice would be weak. Jasper shifted, you could hear the rustle of his clothes. â(Y/N) I donât want to break up.â
Now it was your turn to be livid. You spun around and stalked right up to him, your eyes felt like they would bulge out of their sockets. âThen what do you want? What?! You completely ignore me for three days and then tell me you donât want to break up?â
âI could never-â
âWell you did.â You seethed. âI finally had the courage to confide in you and you lashed out at me, abandoned me, and then treated me like I didnât exist!â
âI love you more than anything, (Y/N). Please, understand how much I donât want to lose you. I donât want to see you die, I donât want to watch you suffer because of something I did to you. I was wrong to act this way, I was doing the very thing I was afraid of doing. I love you. Please, please donât go.â His voice was breaking. âI was surprised that night. Itâs no excuse for how I behaved, but I want to talk about it with you now. Iâm ready, if you still want to talk at all.â
You still felt broken. But that was good because it meant he wasnât using his gift to mend anything unnaturally. Jasper took a hesitant step towards you, one hand outstretched for yours to hold. âPlease. I canât promise Iâll give you what you want, I still donât want to risk your life by conceiving. But Iâm willing to discuss it with you and thatâs a start.â
Sniffing with your runny nose, you closed the gap between you and leapt into his embrace - one so tight you normally would have complained. All you wanted was to feel him against you again. To feel his skin on your skin, to feel his lips on your lips. He wiped your tears from your face, placing gentle kisses against your temple.
âWe will be okay, (Y/N).â

What Would Never Be (Part 2)
Here is Part 1
Jasper x Reader
Request 1:Â Can you do a pt 2 to What Would Never Be where the Jasper & Alice break up after Jasper finds out Alice kept her vision the reader being his true mate from him? - anon
Request 2: Iâm not sure how old the post âWhat would never beâ is but I wondered/was curious if you were still thinking of writing a second part? Jasper has found out the reader is his true mate, could you also include how the  Cullens would react to the news & maybe meeting her for the first time? Thank you X (cont..) Could you maybe include readers reaction to finding out Jasper is a vampire? X - @raindancer2004
Word Count: 1942
A/N:Â I got two requests for part 2 so Iâve combined them. Iâm sorry I didnât include every tidbit of what you asked for in detail - a few fleeting sentences here and there were the best I could do. This took five completely different drafts and the first four were choppy. Iâve finally written a version Iâm happy with and this one flows a thousand times better than the previous ones. I hope everyone can enjoy this!
They were surrounding you as you stood in the main lounge of their home. The expressions on each of their faces were difficult to read; ranging from what you considered uncomfortable to outright confused. It was hard to not take any of it personally. The situation had made waves in their household.
Jasper gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. You still processed it all. Sure, the Cullens had stood out around town; but vampires? Suddenly aware of your own heart beating, you tightened your grip on Jasperâs hand and recounted the events that landed you in this situation.
*
It was a sunny day in Forks, a rarity. The weather was warm, but not hot â and yet you could feel sweat forming on your forehead. The true pitfall of living in a cold, rainy town was the lack of summer clothing you owned. Your wardrobe â and everybody elseâs â consisted largely of thick woollens and denims. Still, your jeans and shirt would get you through the day.
The excitement had the cafeteria buzzing. Beach dates and pier-diving sessions were being planned. Everyone welcomed the warmer weather; yet despite all the optimism surrounding you, you still noticed a negative. Jasper wasnât at school. Neither were the rest of his family â most likely on another family camping trip away in the wilderness. You took a large bite of your lunch and tried to shake away the image of Jasper sharing a tent with his girlfriend. Getting intimate.
You had no reason to dislike Alice. She was never rude to anybody, and she always projected an aura of positivity; but the green-eyed monster within you was rearing its ugly head. It was difficult to bury once it emerged.

What Would Never Be
Jasper x Reader
Request: Can I please request a one-shot where youâre a normal student at Forks High and you have a crush on Jasper? You donât know heâs a vampire or anything and youâre studying or something together but then Alice comes over and it hurts to see them together?
Word Count: 1343Â
A/N: Thanks for sending me my very first request! It was actually so easy to write, and I hope you liked what I came up with. Iâm quite nervous posting this, so I hope itâs alright!
It was another gloomy day at Forks High School. Puddle water soaked through your shoes and into your socks, and the air held a thick scent of mud and rain. Beside you, your best friend was wringing out her wet hair. You supposed you should do the same, but found yourself unmoving as the water dripped from your hair onto your raincoat.

Jasper x Reader
This is Part 4 of the Jasper miniseries. Here is Part 1.
Summary: Jasper approaches you one evening and tries to make things right - but between your fear and your lust, you find time to question the motives of him and the rest of his family.Â
Word Count: 5,057

â(Y/N), please come with me.â Jasperâs voice pulled you out of your shock. You never thought youâd ever see Jasper Hale standing in your bedroom. Sure, youâd thought about it almost every night, but you never thought heâd be standing there under these conditions.
âNo.â Your voice sounded firm. You kept your breath steady, refusing to succumb to the hysterics that had preyed on you earlier that day. His molten gold eyes softened. He took a cautious step towards you, but stopped as you met him with a glare.
âYou figured it out all on your own,â he spoke his words slowly, as if he was afraid of scaring you away again. âI know you have a lot of questions, and I will answer them for you. But before I do, I need to be sure weâre talking about the same thing. I need you to say the word out loud.â
âYou say it.â
He exhaled sharply, âI canât. I canât say anything until I know youâve put it together entirely on your own.â
It was there, lingering in your mouth, impatient to be spoken but afraid to drip from your tongue. âVa-â It wouldnât come out. Just say it. Vampire. You were in love with a vampire.
âPlease, (Y/N).â Was he serious about telling you the truth, or was this all a ploy to see if they could trust you? Did they send him here to kill you? All of this had started from your silly crush on him. Was it his job to dispose of you?
You swallowed hard, and then the word fell out. âVampire.â
The word hung in the atmosphere, turning the frigid air so brittle it could snap. He glued his eyes to you, but you could only look at the ground as your cheeks burned. How silly it sounded out loud. You may as well have called him a fairy. Your teeth nipped at your bottom lip as your last shred of confidence diminished, stranding you with dread and anticipation for the mocking laughter that never came.Â
Jasper denied nothing.
âI tried to give you answers at school today, but you wouldnât follow me.â He took another step towards you; careful and steady, leaving a muddy footprint in his wake.
âAre you going to kill me because I found out?â You looked at him then. He seemed so out of place, surrounded by your mess; and thoughts of dreams youâd had of him coming to your room like this contrasted with the cold reality that threatened to devour you.

See, Edward. You have this habit of letting humans find out your secret because you canât keep your mouth shutđ
Also, it was smart of her not to follow him like Bella wouldđ

Jasper x Reader
This is Part 3 of the Jasper miniseries. Here is Part 1.
Summary: Your secret investigation picks up speed and you finally talk to Jasper. As the evidence piles up, you wonder if youâve made a grave mistake. A surge of courage paves a new course for your future.
Word Count: 2,814
A/N: !!!!!!!!

Your finger hovered over the call button as you stared at Jasperâs name with intent. Your hairs stood on end as the chilly night air forced you deeper into the thick blankets enveloping you. The bitter cold clouded your windows as midnight approached, and the soft pitter-patter of rain splashing on the roof served as a comforting lullaby. Heavy eyelids threatened to fall as Jasperâs name blurred. You tapped the screen.
âHey,â
The word sat in the text box and waited for you to press send. It was the third time you had tried to contact him that night. First craving to hear his voice, knowing that his words and his time in that moment would be only for you; and then settling for a message you would never send. What if, after he felt heâd resolved everything, that would be it? No more talking? Those ideas were enough to make you shut the screen off and leave the phone on charge.
You wanted this to be a chance for a beginning, not an ending. It was his choice to not want to be with you, but that didnât mean he shouldnât be near you. As painful as his sheer loyalty and devotion to Alice was, it only caused you to like him more. Long forgiven were his shameless brags about his girlfriend; they made you blush when you imagined him talking about you.
As your head sank into your pillow, thoughts of affection lulled you to sleep; and dreams of soft lips and firm hands carried you through the lonely, frigid night.
*
At school, life went on. Jason proceeded to pine after Eric Yorkie, just as you pined after Jasper. Alice continued to greet you whenever she saw you, but the other Cullens had faded into the background. As you walked into your English class expecting to see your neighbouring seat empty again, somebody was already sitting there, nibbling on a pencil.
Bella Swan wore her hair in a low, messy ponytail. She tugged at the sleeves of her flannel. âH-Hey,â she said as you approached. âYouâre (Y/N), right?â Your heart fluttered; not because she knew your name, but because she likely heard it from a Cullen - and you hoped it was Jasper who had mentioned you. You slid into your seat beside her, tripping over her old orange backpack on the way. She dragged her bag out of the walkway and stammered a quick, âsorry.â
âYouâre Bella Swan?â You feigned ignorance. Bella nodded. âYouâre dating Edward, right?â
Her shoulders seemed tense. âY-Yeah, for a while.â
âSo how come you switched classes?â Did Jasper make her so he could get away from you?

I only thought of this now and I already reblogged the first partâ but on the first part, why the hell is Edward so interested in our thoughts if we meant nothing? Like, he canât say this is the first time heâs heard that. He wouldâve heard everything from everyone who wants them. So why us? It makes it the most suspicious.
Iâm loving this seriesđ

Jasper x Reader
This is Part 2 of the Jasper miniseries. Here is Part 1.
Summary: After the negative events of the last few weeks, Alice offers an explanation that just doesnât seem to add up. You believe there is more to the mysterious family that meets the eye.
Word Count: 2,540
Tags: @awesome-badass-cafeteria-sauce @eggmettcullen @scuzmunkie @xcharlottemikaelsonx @oi-itsemily @cacti-succulents-andlesbians @aw0kenangel
A/N: Thereâs less Jasper in this chapter because a few things needed to happen in this part to keep the ball rolling. As the series progresses, the prerogatives of the Cullens will make more sense.

The buzzing chatter surrounding you broke the silence as you sat alone in a local cafĂ©. It had been raining all day, and the people of Forks sought the solace of a sweet hot chocolate. You shifted in discomfort. Your socks were moist with dirty water youâd collected from splashing through a large puddle on your way in; and the pouring rain made your sleeves cling to your arms. You sat shivering at a corner table, goose bumps scattered across your exposed skin. The welcoming scent of coffee beans comforted you as you waited for your own hot drink to arrive.
A glare from a boy studying on the table beside you caused you to stop fidgeting with the sugar stick between your fingers. âCan you stop tapping?â he asked.
âSorry,â you mumbled. You put the stick of sugar back in its place and took a deep, steady breath. You rarely met strangers, but lately youâve been in a weird head space. An anonymous note in your locker had brought you here, requesting a meeting.
âHere you go,â the waitress said as she placed your scalding drink in front of you, the steam swirling from its surface. âAnd sorry for the wait. Itâs always crazy here on these stormy days.â
âThank you.â You werenât in the mood for small talk right now. On top of this mystery meeting, you had gotten nowhere with the Cullen stuff. Everything had gone back to normal at school. No glares. No staring. No interacting of any kind. So, when Alice Cullen herself strutted through the door and straight towards you, the shock nearly knocked you over.
Her heeled boots clicked on the wooden floor. Stylishly dressed in an all-black ensemble with a trendy overcoat and a navy-blue scarf; her designer bag hung lavishly from the back of her chair as she slid into her place across from you. She smiled. âThank you for coming, (Y/N).â

Unrequited
Jasper x Reader
Summary: You had been happy to quietly like Jasper from a distance. But when he and the Cullens start acting stranger than usual, you begin wondering if thereâs more to it.
Word Count: 2,372

A/N: Felt cheeky and wrote something after a year and a half of hiatus that nobody asked for. Sorry not sorry. Might do a part 2?

It had crept up on you. It wasnât something you wanted.
âIâll go fir-â you started, as your right hand brushed against your English partnerâs. The pen between you rolled off the top of the desk as you jolted from his icy touch. Jasper Haleâs cautious eyes met yours. You suddenly grew conscious of every part of your body and how it might appear to him. Your mouth dried up.
From that touch, those feelings manifested in your fingers; a lingering chill that had lasted for hours. From then, your throat tightened whenever you spoke to him. You stuttered between words, and the mere thought of meeting his honeycomb gaze made you feel sick. Reminiscing that first graze of physical contact and back to your first meeting with him, you accepted that those feelings had always lived within you; dormant and waiting. When hadnât you liked Jasper?
What drew you to him wasnât something you could pinpoint, at least nothing that wasnât shallow. You hardly knew him and you only spoke to each other in English class when you had to. Even then, it was a routine âhey, how are you todayâ and little more unless you were paired together for a learning task.
â⊠the dance.â That was all your friends had been talking about and it was still months away.
âIâm asking him to the dance,â Jason was hyping himself up, âIâm just going to do it.â
You had every intention of giving him a slap on the back before he went to lay his heart on the line. But all it took was the sight of Jasper crossing the asphalt with some papers in his hand to make you cease and admire him instead. Sometimes you just wanted to march over to him and confess your feelings.
âOh shit, thatâs not good.â
You snapped out of your loverâs trance and looked at Ericâs face flushed with uncertainty as Jason dropped his head. Rejection. He was biting his lip on his way back to your group. Every time you thought you could be gather courage and tell Jasper how you felt, you saw somebody else receive decline from their own attempt. The world around you gave constant reminders to stay in line. This is what will happen to you if you try to break them up.
âHe wants to go with Angela.â
Jasonâs obstacle was a cute girl with glasses, and yours was Alice Cullen. Dressed immaculately in designer clothing, Jasperâs girlfriend was not somebody you wanted to rival for his affection. Everything about her was perfect and polished and a clear winner against the likes of anyone who stood beside her. How could he ever look at you, let alone accept you?
However, there didnât seem to be any sign of Alice today. Or Emmett. Edward and Rosalie were standing by the bottom of the stairs leading up to the school. Jasper descended them, his hands now empty and stuffed in his pockets. Â As your group comforted Jason, you felt a burning stare on your back; and when you turned around, you met the perturbed frown of Edward Cullen.

One thing you have always promised yourself was that you would never stay in an abusive relationship that includes, cheating, mental abuse or manipulative behavior but for some reason you broke that promise to yourself.
Dating Paul, must have been the worst decision that you have made in your life, Â it started off with a meaningless hook up, that then turned into a few more until he continued showing up at your house, trying to woo you but you werenât interested in him in that way, you had eyes for someone else, someone you couldnât have, or at least that you thought you couldnât have back then.
