New year, new round of tarot card of the day! We're starting this week off interesting - The Art is said to be a completion of an earlier card, The Lovers. Will this be the year things come together? To fulfill, or at least make a great step towards, fulfilling your goals?

Today's #tarot card of the day is XXI The World, represented by Mt. Ebott.

I did say this deck had spoilers!

A great accomplishment has come about to the Monsters of the Underground, and now they can escape from their underworld prison and explore and integrate with the human world above.

They've seen part of the world around them - much like we've only seen part of this week! There's still so much more to do and see.

Don't lock yourself in with barriers - let your mind and soul wander. You never know what you will find!

Card of the Day: Napstablook, The Moon

Today's tarot card of the day is Napstablook, who takes place of The Moon .

This little fellow likes to lay down on his own and listen to music, which leads him into a trippy inner world.

How often do you lay with yourself, and your thoughts? This can be incredibly difficult to do - a lot of thoughts and feelings get pushed into the subconscious and backs of our mind throughout the days.

Card of the Day: 6 of Wands, Magma Hotsguy

Today's card of the day is 6 of Wands, Magma Hotsguy.

How did you achieve victory today? Or, at the very least, advance closer to it?

Never doubt your own abilities. It gets hard - it's far easier to listen to the negative voices telling you that you'll fail. But sometimes you win in a way that shuts them up real good.

Draw on those victories. Be honest, and use them as evidence that it is possible.

You may even surprise yourself!

Card of the Evening: Asriel, The Magician

Trying something different with this week's "Card of the Day" batch.

Instead of mornings/afternoons, I'm gonna shoot for evenings. The idea is for you to reflect on this card after the day's done.

This week's deck is the Undertale deck. It does contain spoilers, but the game's been out for so long at this point.

Anyway, tonight we have Asriel, who takes the place of The Magician.

He serves as your final antagonist in the game, should you go down the pacifist route. This form is made up of The Underground's 6 human souls and all of the monsters' souls. What a power being! He can practically warp reality.

So think about this. How do you "control" your own reality? The Magician is said to be a master of manifestation. How did you try to bring to life your ambitions and goals today?

Always keep planning in pencil. Your first attempt might not be successful, but a real magician isn't one that's always successful. They're the ones that keep on trying until they manifest what they're after.

The Queen of Pentalces! What a card for Saturday. We are one day away from the end of the week.

Never forget those who love and support you. It could be family, friends, a mentor, spirit guides, someone. They can be an incredible source of love, compassion, and a good natured push.

Or, perhaps you're a Queen of Pentacles yourself? A noble role - just the sure that you can take care of yourself before caring for others. Be it emotionally or financially.

We're pulling a bit of double duty today, as I forgot to do the card of the day for yesterday - oops! So consider this a late card for Friday.

And what a fitting card for Friday! The completion of things brings to mind the completion of the workweek.

But is there something else that you've been seeking to complete? Or working towards?

You know what they say - having a goal is a great path towards self improvement. Once you have a goal, you can begin to plan, and from there, continue to grow.

And then, one day, maybe even next year, your own world can be yours.

The Devil can be a daunting card to see, but it's something a lot of us have had an encounter with.

As a follow-up to yesterday's card, The Sun, this is intriguing. But it makes sense - often our resurgence of hope and optimism gets checked and challenged by reality.

And for a number of people, that check is enough to put them down. They get trapped, or feel that life is completely out of their hands. They get imprisoned, like the person underneath the devil.

For others, it's over indulging in the material realm. Having a night out with friends is fine. We can all indulge in things every now and then, there's nothing wrong with that.

It's when you become a slave to it, that's when there's an issue. You can, in fact, become a prisoner of your desires. There is wisdom in not letting the proverbial desires of the flesh rule us. Be wary of golden handcuffs.

The dark shadow of the Devil falls on all of us. But each of us has the power to free ourselves from his cages and chains.

Card of the Day: XIX The Sun

What a card to draw for Wednesday! The Sun hits highest in the afternoon, sitting directly above us all.

If you're feeling drained this week, reach deep within yourself, and try to find the energy of the Sun. It's a powerful card that seldom means anything bad.

The Sun can give you life, energy, optimism and vitality. What is your "Sun" in your life? What gives you energy and resurgence in the darkest of times?

A Deal With God

I should probably start posting these!

I call this a Sigil Glyph. They're things I started creating after playing around with a sigil-making wheel.

They often use a "source phrase" of some kind and...well there's a few more steps to it, but they usually result in some interesting designs!

This one was inspired by Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill". We have two separate perspectives. But then divinity comes along, and forces them to intermingle. They change and transform.

You can see that represented in the colors. Hopefully!
