Once I'm through most of them it will be reopened but they're coming through faster than I can write and I don't want anyone to be waiting for like 3 months 🤣

~ dress code~
prompt: #39 “I’m not wearing a tie.”
summary: There’s a promotion party at the Munyong station and the boys of I.A have horrible dress sense
pairing: Ryu Su-Yeol x Reader
warnings: idk its pretty flirty - lmk if there’s anything
word count: 513
a/n: Requests are open! Prompt list is there if you guys want extra ideas
Master-List - Prompts
Sounds of arguing fluttered out into the hallway from the slightly open door leading to Anti-Corruption Agency. There was yet another promotion or party, they didn’t really know. It was mandatory and there was a strict dress code. Which led to the three remaining male members of the unit, Su-Yeol, Gyeong-Tae and Jae-Sun all stood at their respective desks fixing the last pieces of their suits when there was a slight knock at the door making them aware of Y/N’s presence.
“Why can I hear so much arguing while you’re supposed to be getting ready?” She popped her head around the door smiling at all of them, which was more threatening than kind.
“The dress code said black suit and tie and someone won’t put on a tie.” Jae-Sun says putting emphasis on the someone while motioning to Su-Yeol with his head. Both the other boys were wearing bowties but Su-Yeol was still stood there with a untied tie hanging loosely around his neck.
“I’m not wearing a tie.” Su-Yeol says shaking his head. He really could choose to die on the stupidest of hills.
“Su-Yeol…” Y/N spoke slowly as she walked into the room. All 3 pairs of eyes were trained on her as she walked straight to the front of Su-Yeol’s desk, “Either put the tie on. Or wear it to your funeral.”
Su-Yeol tried to hold the smirk back from the comment but the look in her eyes made it difficult. He tried to ignore the 2 men exchanging looks but they made it so obvious that even Y/N who wasn’t facing them spun around 180 to face them both.
“Strangling Su-Yeol, objections?” Jae-Sun just nodded in agreement, he’d worked with both of them long enough at this point but Gyeong-Tae was still new so he let out a bit more of a laugh at this.
“No, none at all go ahead.” Jae-Sun said as he turned around to walk out into the hallway, Gyeong-Tae took a quick glance at the clock on the wall and followed him out, considering they were already 10 minutes late that is probably a good thing.
“Are you really threatening to kill me in a police station?” Su-Yeol spoke as he leant forward across his desk coming closer to left side of Y/N.
“You think I couldn’t get away with it?” She said looking left towards his presence. As he was still staring straight forward so she could see his Adams apple as he gulped at the sudden closeness. She took this as a moment to move her face closer so her nose was near touching his cheek, just so she could whisper in his ear, “Put on the damn tie.”
She moved away from the desk in one moment and walked away without turning back to look at Su-Yeol. He adjusted his position from the desk and rolled his shoulders back adjusting his posture. He took one look down at the loose tie around his neck and as he started to fix it up he spoke to the empty room around him.
“Yes Ma’am.”

Jin-Man was worried when he introduced Y/N to Ji-An because he didn’t want Ji-An to feel uncomfortable but frankly he wasn’t prepared for just how much Ji-An would like his partner. At first Ji-An would not talk to Jin-Man or even be near him but she would always exist next to Y/N if she was around. By the time Ji-An actually spoke to anyone you would always hear her little voice yapping away telling Y/N whatever story she could think of.
Jin-Man didn’t mind until Ji-An started to talk to Y/N in private more. He didn’t want to seem like a clingy partner but from the moment Ji-An was home from school she would have Y/N behind a closed door telling her all the secrets she’s heard that day. It was strictly something he was not allowed to join. What a time in his life that he is jealous of a literal child, his niece no less. He just laughs to himself at the thought as he walks up the hallway towards his bedroom door.
He opened the door to find Ji-An and Y/N sat crossed legged on the bed with some quiet music in the background. Y/N was facing the door as she normally does whatever room she’s in, so the minute the door opened her face broke out into a smile. Little Ji-An moved her whole body so she could see and faced her uncle with a stern face and crossed arms.
“This is girl talk, so leave.” Ji-An huffed out with far too much authority for such a little girl. Jin-Man and Y/N both let out a small laugh at her reaction. Jin-Man just walked further into the room.
“You know Y/N is my girlfriend right? You can’t have her 24/7.” He said getting down to Ji-An’s eyeline. All she did in retaliation was stick her tongue out in the direction of her uncle. Y/N just let out another laugh and couldn’t believe that they were having a little battle over her.
“You have her while I’m in school.” Ji-An huffs again making sure to cross her arms again this time with more force to let her uncle know she was really serious. At this point Jin-Man took his index finger and placed it against Ji-An’s forehead and pushed her small frame back lightly having her fall backwards into the bed. At this point Y/N stood up to walk towards the door.
“Okay you two no more fighting I’m not going anywhere,” Y/N put her arm over Jin-Man’s shoulders and he stood up at the feel of her touch letting her lean into him slightly. She placed her arm on his lower back and started moving back towards the bedroom door leading Jin-Man out of the room. They finally made it out into the hallway and Y/N closed the door behind her masking their conversation, “She goes to bed in 2 hours, surely you won’t die waiting?”
“Y’know what this time I might.” Jin-Man decided to be as serious as he could be but the smile on her face nearly broke the whole joke facade.
“Well that’s unfortunate if you die, I’m all alone at night…” She let her sentence trail off as she let her hand fall down from his shoulders to his hands slowly, leaving him covered in goosebumps as the door in front of him closed once again leaving the girls alone. 2 hours couldnt be so hard, could it?

It had been nearly 3 days of Y/N curled up in a chair at Ji-An’s bedside. They didn’t really know what was going on with Ji-An but the constant fever and puking just led to Y/N taking up temporary residence on the shitty chair at Ji-An’s bedside. Jin-Man did what he could, bringing coffee to Y/N every couple of hours and delivering the 3 meals they needed to eat but other than that he kept his distance.
Jin-Man didn’t realise how lonely the house would feel with the 2 of them cooped up in that room and maybe it was also the fact that because Ji-An has not been at school that he hasn’t spent anytime with Y/N. Even if they didn’t speak it was the way they existed around each other that he missed. Handing each other coffee’s without spoken words just because you know the other one.
It was almost as if she could hear him thinking about her because she was walking out of Ji-An’s bedroom holding a small damp towel. She walked in silence not wanting to wake Ji-An up but the minute she caught eye contact with Jin-Man she shot him a smile and proceeded straight to the kitchen. He decided to move from his position on the couch and towards the sink.
“Y/N L/N. Are you going to be a nurse for every generation of my family?” Jin-Man joked quietly as Y/N was rinsing the small towel with cold water, a trick to try and keep Ji-An’s temperature down. Y/N had been Jin-Man’s right hand in Babylon and she was the one that patched him up the most, from there it was so natural for her to care for Ji-An in the same way.
“At least Ji-An is a good patient. That stings… that’s too tight… can you rewrap it.” Y/N deepens her voice to mock a moaning and in pain Jin-Man earning a quick hmm from the man himself. Y/N laughed after finishing the voice and turned the tap off beginning to ring out the towel so it was damp not dripping.
“I am brilliant while in pain, I am however bored out my mind in this house alone. How fast can you cure whatever this is.” Jin-Man had opened up and started speaking more casually with Y/N the more she was around and now they’d lived together for 5 years it was like he couldn’t exist alone. Y/N tried to hide the smile on her face when he so casually says that he misses her, even if that’s not exactly what he said. Y/N couldn’t believe that Ji-An was sick and he was here being clingy and jealous, she had to try her hardest to supress a laugh.
“Is there a way to cure you of your need to bother me?” Honestly if it was any other scenario then Jin-Man would’ve known that Y/N was just joking with him but maybe genuinely missing her made him take that a little too to heart. When he didn’t say anything Y/N looked up to see genuine hurt across his face and the shock of his reaction genuinely surprised her.
“It was a joke baby, I swear.” Y/N laughed finally turning her body away from the sink and finally facing towards Jin-Man. Then it was like a second wave of shock hit him.
“Baby..?” Jin-Man repeated it because he thought he didn’t hear her correctly. Then it was time for Y/N to realise what she said, maybe sleeping in the chair was starting to make her loose it. She stood there frozen with the towel in her hands trying to look anywhere in the kitchen that wasn’t the man stood in front of her. Then she finally darted her eyes to look at him and he was there looking at her with a look she’d not seen before. There was a softness behind his eyes that was new, of course he cared for and trusted her but this was different.
It was very easy for both of them to blur the lines the longer they lived together. When you’re on missions it’s different, it’s life and death. Here in the house, taking care of Ji-An and raising her together it was domestically normal. (If you ignore the black market website they run together) Almost as if it was like fate had decided to save this conversation for another day there were small footsteps from the hallway and a very sick and nauseous Ji-An rounded the corner.
“I’ll take care of her you look like you need to sleep in a real bed.” Jin-Man whispered towards Y/N as he gently took the small towel out of her hand placing it on the kitchen side. He moved the hair out of her face and gave her a small kiss on the forehead before picking up the towel again and walking back to the bedroom with Ji-An. Y/N just stood there in the kitchen for an extra second waiting for them to retreat to the bedroom but she heard one last thing from the hallway from a very sleepy and sick 14 year old that she probably wasn’t supposed to.
“Have you finally told her you like her?”

Hi it’s me again. I don’t whether or not you take peoples own requests because I have two of my own requests but if you only take some from your prompt list then I won’t ask. Love ur writing btw do u have any tips for first time writers 🩷🩷
Hi! I do 100% take peoples own requests! Anything you can think of if I can do it justice I will try my best.
Honestly if you're just starting out I genuinely suggest find one piece of media you really love and watch it a lot to the point you know it so well and start by making stories about that.
I started with Criminal Minds by just adding a character I created into the already canon storylines. It gives you great practice at world/character building and also how to write convincing interactions between characters.
Also just keep practicing, you'll naturally learn your writing style over time <3 (if you post literally anything you can tag me)

Even though Lee Yeon had been waiting for centuries to find her again, the moment he did he almost thought she was a mirage. He had been coming to this ice cream shop for years and not once had he seen her before. So when the bell on the door rang catching his attention it was almost like time stood still, or flashed back even.
Somehow she had the same face? It felt like it was too good to be true. So much so that Lee Yeon had to convince himself that she wasn’t real, that it was just a coincidence. It was just his luck that you managed to be the new start at that exact ice cream shop. It felt like a cruel trick from the world, toying with his heart.
He just couldn’t help himself. After a while, Y/N began to notice lights, like fireflies always around her. She always smiled when she saw them like the stars were keeping her safe. Although it wasn’t the stars. Shin-Joo kept trying to warn him not to get too involved, it might not even be her, but of course, he didn’t listen.
Lee Yeon knew that the minute he took another human's life to save hers he’d have a heavy punishment but he knew he’d endure any pain in the world to keep her safe. The whole situation felt like a dream to Y/N. She led such an ordinary life, but if she knew the world that surrounded her she’d have a very different idea.
She never expected her life to completely transform in what felt like the blink of an eye. Normally she was so safe walking home, she had taken this route countless times before. Maybe that was her problem. The minute she felt a pull on her arm she let out a scream. The force of something hitting her in the abdomen was enough to knock her to the ground. As she began to cough the figure stood up straight in front of her. With only light streetlights behind them all Y/N could see was a silhouette. That’s when she sees them, the fireflies.
From the darkness came a blinding light, like something on fire. It illuminated the silhouette red and she thought she imagined it at first, but she could swear she could see glowing eyes in the distance. She watched the figure spin on the spot towards the light, but just as quick as he spun he dropped to his knees. Lee Yeon knew he wasn’t supposed to interfere, that he wasn’t supposed to take a human life, but he broke the rules for her once before and he’d do it a million times over.
Y/N hadn’t noticed that the blunt force she felt was actually a knife so she had no time to react before passing out in the alleyway. Luckily Lee Yeon rushed past to pick her up he dashed to his car trying his hardest to get her to Shin-Joo. Lee Yeon was too focused on driving to even notice that Y/N was dipping in and out of consciousness. Although for some reason, regardless of what just happened to her, she felt safe. She could see the fireflies.
When Y/N finally woke up she was in a stranger's bed, she didn’t enjoy the sudden empty feeling in her stomach. She was fully dressed, still wearing the clothes she had that night except now there was a bandage wrapped around her abdomen. As she made her way around the strange apartment she noticed a smell from the kitchen. She made her way there slowly trying to make as little sound as possible.
Shin-Joo was doing his best to prepare breakfast for the guest as quietly as he could. So much so that when Y/N made a sound entering the room he jumped in surprise letting out a little squeal. Y/N immediately flung her hands up in surprise not really knowing how to react.
“Erm, where am I?” On the list of questions she could ask it felt like the most obvious one. She clearly wasn’t chained up but that didn’t mean something sinister wasn’t happening. Shin-Joo put down the veg he was cleaning and wiped his hands on his apron.
“I’m Shin-Joo, you got attacked yesterday. Do you remember?” He said while motioning towards the chairs at the kitchen island, it was probably best she sat down after a situation like that. As her body sunk into the chair she then felt the pang of pain from her side and suddenly the pieces fell into place.
“The alley… the fire… they were there again.” Shin-Joo nodded as she spoke until the last part, he cocked his head to the side in confusion waiting for her to elaborate but she never did. It was like she was stuck in the memory again.
“What was there again?” Shin-Joo pressed on for information. He couldn’t deny he was interested in figuring out who she was and how she had the same face.
“The fireflies,” She smiled as she spoke as if these tiny creatures were her sworn protector, “Where’s the man gone?” Her sudden mention of Lee Yeon made Shin-Joo jump. Lee Yeon said she was unconscious when he brought her to the vet. She began to look around but she wasn’t going to find him, he’d already gone to accept his punishment.
“He had to take care of some business, you probably won’t see him” Shin-Joo did his best to skate around the truth. Even though she seen the fox right in front of her she would probably never believe in his existence. She immediately started slowly shaking her head from side to side.
“No, you know him so you also know where he is, you have to take me to him” She protested. At first, she didn’t know why she was reacting this way, there was some fire inside of her and she knew that she had to find him again. Shin-Joo was interested in this reaction, he could almost feel her determination. Like something reaching out from the past that was so close, within an arms reach.
He tried to protest but if he had thought Lee Yeon was stubborn he had met a new champion. Y/N would not budge for any excuse or reason in the book and Shin-Joo was almost too excited at the situation to fight back properly. Eventually, he caved and drove her there, it wasn’t like she was going to be able to get in let alone speak to him so if it would satisfy her need then he was willing to entertain her plea to see Lee Yeon.
What Shin-Joo wasn’t expecting was the Y/N just opened the door and walked straight in. She shouldn’t be able to do that. She really shouldn’t be able to do that. With more determination than she’d ever felt Y/N walked through the massive building, almost overwhelmed by emotion or maybe it was just fear. She rounded the corner and came face to face with an old woman who spoke calmly but sternly.
“You should not be here, leave.” There was no emotion on her face. Y/N got the chills just looking at her in the eyes, there were too many stories behind those eyes.
“Please I’m here to see someone, I was told he’d be here.” Y/N didn’t know what to do at this point. She had no idea what she’d walked into and she was completely out of her depth. Despite everything against her she held strong and endured the piercing gaze. The old lady cocked her eyebrow as if she had an idea, let's see how far she would go for a man she’d never met.
“Fine…follow me.” The old woman turned on her heel towards the back of the main room. She snaped her fingers and a part of the wall flung open like doors revealing a grey hellish landscape. She motioned for Y/N to go in. Y/N at this point just assumed she was still asleep. This was an elaborate dream she was having while unconscious. At this thought she let out a laugh, what’s the point of being so serious if it’s just a dream?
“This is a dream right, ahh that’s a re-” Before Y/N could finish her sentence the old lady hit her across the arm with a nearby ruler stinging Y/N instantly. She recoiled in pain and shock. Okay, not a dream then. Everything suddenly got very real, “Okay, not a dream. Got it.”
Y/N had no idea what she was doing and frankly, she was too far to turn back now. She walked through the door and was suddenly in a completely new environment. She was on a dusty and grey cliffside. As if all the color had been drained from the world, it felt like hell. All she could see was the doorframe behind her leading to her normal world and on the other side a long rope bridge. She couldn’t see past more than 10 steps of the bridge it was shrouded in a thick fog. Who knows how long it is? Suddenly she was joined by the old lady who spoke calmly again, like she’d done this a thousand times.
“You have entered into a world you know very little about. He broke an oath when he took a human life to save you and he is now paying that debt on the other side of the bridge. He will remain here until the end of his punishment,” She paused and walked closer to the bridge the wind picking up and making it sway side by side, “However if you are willing to cross this bridge to the other side I will let him go.”
It seemed too easy, Y/N knew that. She walked closer to the bridge trying to guess what the trick was however the closer she got the further she wanted to run away. What was she really doing here, for a man she hadn’t spoken to? Yet he saved her life knowing he would be punished. Maybe she owed it to him. Maybe all of this was still a dream, that was the one she was holding onto.
“It’s too simple.” Was all she could muster. The old lady nodded slowly agreeing with her, she still held the same blank expression and the lack of emotion was really starting to freak her out.
“It is the bridge to Knife Mountain,” The old woman paused almost as if she were waiting to be questioned. However, Y/N loved mythology growing up so she followed along, “You may cross it and free him, but be warned once you start you cannot turn back. This could very well kill you. Is it worth it?”
Y/N took a long time looking in between the door and the bridge, she was talking towards certain death there was no way of beating around the bush about that. Crossing a bridge she can’t see the end of knowing knives are going to be flying towards her. She could feel something in her heart like her soul was glowing like this moment right here is where her entire life changed. So she turned her back to the world she knew and took her first step across the bridge.
Y/N was not going to waste time to find out just how bad this was going to be. Holding both sides of the bridge and trying to keep her head as low as she could she started to walk plank to plank across the rickety bridge. She really hoped this was just a test of bravery and there weren’t any actual knives, she prayed the legends were wrong. It didn’t take long for the first knife to whip past her arm making a slit in her arm, recoiling from the pain she then got hit by a knife flying to her right. Luckily she stood her ground quickly and tried to focus on her steps more than the pain. Luckily they had only grazed past her, almost like the bridge was toying with her.
The next one went a good few layers deep in her thigh and suddenly it was all starting to pick up. Y/N could feel the wind rushing past her and in retaliation, she tried to pick up the pace. Maybe if she could get through it fast enough she could make it out alive. The wind got heavier and suddenly she felt more objects fly past her body. Then she felt it, cut by cut as they just caught minor parts of her skin. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was 1 or 2 but the more she ran the higher the number got. She could feel her skin starting to swell and bleed and suddenly each step felt heavier and heavier. She was losing too much blood to keep running.
Then that fire returned the same fire that made her take the first step. The feeling like her soul was glowing, only it was. She looked down to see what looked like a light coming from inside of her. It roared orange like it was coming alive and suddenly she couldn’t feel the pain anymore. Her body did not feel light but it was almost like it was trying to keep her alive. Then she caught a glimpse of it, a mountainside far off in the distance. That was all she needed a sign she was almost there. As the fire inside her grew the light got brighter. All she could feel was her feet taking her away as if something else was in control of her body.
Lee Yeon who had been shrouded in mist and fog didn’t really know how to react when he saw a flicker of light in the distance. At first, he thought he was imagining it but the larger and closer it got the harder it was to ignore. His eyes couldn't make anything out as the light hadn’t pierced through the fog yet and even as it began to it was too bright to find its source. The chains made it hard for him to look up barely being able to strain his neck but he also couldn’t manage to pull his eyes off the light.
As his vision started to focus and the light started to concentrate he saw Y/N bathed in bright red fire, he could see the flames forming 9 tails behind her with one prominent light emanating from her chest. She had it, the fox orb. The closer she got to Lee Yeon the more she felt like it was dragging her more than leading her, dragging her towards him. With the powers of the fox orb, it didn’t take long for Y/N to end up in front of Lee Yeon.
It was almost like the orb knew she was safe because suddenly the fire faded and she dropped to her knees in front of him. As she strained her neck to look up Lee Yeon could already see the different cuts along her face and neck. Suddenly they were face to face and Lee Yeon watched her eyes fade from the fox glow back to her natural colour.
“I think this means the old lady is gonna let us go now.” She laughed out, although it was strained and breathy due to the pain coursing through her body. Just as she spoke, with almost magic timing, the chains holding Lee Yeon in place disappeared and his arms dropped to his sides, the blood from his body finally flowing again. He heard the door behind him fling open and he could feel the old woman's presence behind him but he really didn’t care. The first thing he did when he was free and could feel again was hold her face.
He looked at her so intently and she didn’t even flinch. She matched his stare and his expression softened instantly and without knowing tears began to well in his eyes. It was real, he had waited all this time after everything he sacrificed. There was so much he had to say, had to do but all that could wait. He just smiled and ran a thumb along her cheek.
“I finally found you.”

It didn’t take long before Y/N caught word of what Bale had done. I mean she worked pretty much side by side with Honda so when she arrived back from holiday to find the shop burnt down she immediately went into panic mode. After searching in every safe house or apartment they had in the general area she finally decided to take a more direct approach.
Standing in the middle of Babylon was a questionable decision but frankly she was going to get answers. Luckily she was seen out of kindness but Yong-Han was not one to mince words. He thought he owed her the courtesy because of her blood that he kept her alive in the attack against Jeong Jin-Man. It took longer than it should’ve for her to pull herself together in front of him but luckily he did not question her. He simply let her leave with her life, a mistake he’d regret in the future.
Now she stands shrouded in darkness watching the movement inside the Jeong house. She could see at least 2 shadows move about the house; an adult and a toddler. As the toddler's shadow disappeared into a room with no windows, Y/N assumed that Ji-an was asleep now. Y/N already knew about Ji-an from Yong-Han so she had to go about this a different way. If it was going to be difficult to approach Jin-Man before it will be even harder now. But she has to and so she moves against the darkness but it wouldn’t have made a difference as Jin-Man already knew she was there.
She clocked the unlocked door, there was no way he was that stupid. However, she was stupid enough to go in despite what was probably waiting for her on the other side. As she pushed the door open slowly she put both hands up and walked in hands first to show she was unarmed, a smart choice really since as she fully entered the house she was met with a silenced pistol between the eyes. The cool barrel really took a moment to adjust too but it definitely got her on high alert.
“I’m here alone.” Was the first thing she could think to stutter out. Jin-Man scoffed behind the gun at the comment, of course she did he would’ve known otherwise. At least she was telling him the truth though.
“I didn’t know…I was away…Honda never told me…” It was almost like Y/N couldn’t fully decide on what point she was supposed to lead with. How was she supposed to convince a man not to kill her just like Bale killed his brother?
“I just… I just want to help. Whether it’s revenge or what, I want to help you.” As she spoke the barrel was still against her head but there was space between the door and her so she took the opportunity to take a step back to finally look at him instead of the gun. Jin-Man just continued to stare through her, it was a lifeless stare in his eyes, he’d never looked at her like that before.
“Are you going to talk to me?” She pleads. He keeps the gun level but takes a step back himself creating a bit more space between them. She couldn’t help but notice how tired he looked, he was thinner as well like he hadn’t eaten properly. The grief was killing him literally.
“You expect me,” The sound of his voice shocked her, he spoke with so much anger and venom, “to believe YOU want to help me?” The emphasis on you stung and he noticed. However, the sting quickly turned sour when faced with reality. Y/N finally stopped looking at Jin-Man with nothing, almost like the soul in the body had gone.
“Do you really think?” As Y/N spoke she took off the jacket covering her body, as she did all of the worry that was once written over Y/N’s face was now written over Jin-Man’s. It took him a few moments to fully register what she was telling him, “That all of this hasn’t been going on his entire life?”
It was hard for Y/N to fully hold eye contact with Jin-Man, She watched as his gaze towards her softened but they still stood there mere steps across the room from each other as Jin-Man still hadn’t dropped the gun. It was like everything was moving too slowly that by the time Jin-Man had finally dropped the gun Y/N’s skin was covered in goosebumps from the breeze. He dropped it in one quick movement that cut them out of the moment they were in and Y/N swiftly picked up her jacket and put it back on, she got her point across.
“Did you mean it?” Jin-Man thought maybe he was stupid for trusting her. How much can blood really be different? Something about her though, he didn’t pity her he was intrigued by the look in her eyes.
“Mean what?” She was trying to hide the surprise in her voice that she had gotten his far without being shot. She was willing to go along with whatever she asked at this point, there was something about the look in his eyes.
“About revenge?”
