if there is one thing abt me is that im very good at taking silly scenes seriously or scenes that may have a fumbled execution sdjfdsj

and i have read like some (well intentioned) criticisms of bfb 30 and why it doesnt work for some which i get as well, i wanted to read them and try to understand why it worked for me

i guess there are some things i interpreted differently as well, like why four softens after theyre brought back to life by the objects....

i see a lot of post split hate sometimes and though i dont really want to like try to change peoples minds i do like to think about why i enjoy it so much, personally

but i also dont really see post split as separate from pre-split, like..they go together to me. idk. its the entire package, it's four's show, really

actually kinda wanted to pin down why I enjoy the post split (although I also watched all of bfb in one sitting which might effect this) but basically four is kind of on a character trajectory from even before the split, where he softens the way he treats the contestants (ever so slightly), and after he's brought Back also recovers whenever asked (which he was stubborn about before)

The change is sorta brought out because he acknowledges that the contestants brought him back themselves, it means they were Thinking of him enough to want him back; even if it was because they ultimately needed him back for recovering

And as the show progresses there are all of these little hints showing Four's gradual attachment to everyone.

And this continues post-split. And it's shown that he sees X being apart of bfb, the 'spirit of it' meaning they probably always intended to have X around as a co-host, but when he pushes them away in a heat of the moment, realizes just how important X is to the entire show.

So actually I think a lot of what I like about it is that every episode contains a little bit of fleshing out/characterization/character relationship building for four. like even if it's just a CRUMB, I enjoy it. so like an example would be Lollipop throwing the halloween party for four and doing the Scribble girl costume and like, later four scribbles on his face and tries to match with her, lmao

it's really funny sbfjf but it shows that four has grown little fond of them, and I think the fact that they stayed after the split also contributed to that growing attachment.

SO. It's very fun to watch for me, especially how four interacts with everyone and X.
