so i’m annoyed that we don’t know shit about bby corey and about his chimera side, because we never ended up finding out the creatures he is, but excited to create my own headcanons on it, because like yes, i need to just know myself haha.

❖ ⦙ undyingchimera:

Theo wasn’t entirely certain he should be thanked for any of this. For better or worse, he also had an active role in the part of the story where Corey died. Bringing him back to life sounded heroic and all, but everyone knew Theo didn’t do it out of the goodness of his heart.

He was thankful, however, for Corey’s last comment since it gave him a way out of an awkward conversation he definitely didn’t want to have. In these cases, it was best to leave the past behind.

“Well, I’m sure you understand it’s hard to graduate when you spend a year trapped in hell,” he mused, confident as always. “Besides, school is particularly easy when half the town is not trying to kill you.”

     corey  looked  up  at  theo  and  nodded.   after  the  events  that  happened  this  year,  he  felt  like  the  two  of  them  have  changed  from  it.    he  remembered  the  day  at  the  hospital,  when  theo  had  taken  gabe’s  pain  when  he  was  shot.   there  was  a  different  side  to  theo.  at  least  corey  saw  it  and  thought  so.   

“   yea,  well,  mrs.  martin  probably  wanted  you  out  of  the  school,  ”   he  responded.   “  but  you  also  did  the  work,  so  that  says  something,  ”   he  said.   “  at  least  you  have  your  future  to  look  forward  too.  what  will  you  be  doing,  now  that  we’re  done  here ??  ”

     corey  was  certain  that  tonight  would  not  end  well.    either  they  would  make  it  out  alive  or  they  would  meet  their  end.   but  he  saw  the  FEAR  in  nolan.   perhaps  he  was  telling  the  truth.    ❝   well,   we  can’t  stay  here  either,  ❞   he  said  as  he  looked  at  his  hand,  the  one  that  the  other  stabbed  weeks  ago.   he  extended  his  hand.   ❝   give  me  your  hand.   ❞

    corey  chuckled.   he  was  glad  that  noel  was  at  least  making  him   SMILE.   after  all  this  commotion  happening,  he  needed  a  good  laugh.   and  the  fact  that  he  felt  more  alone  now  than  before,  having  the  male’s  presences  was  actually  nice  for  a  change.    ‶   well,   i’m  GLAD  that  i  have  a  troubled  guy  like  you  that  can  make  me  feel  better  about  things.   ″    a  soft  smile  appeared  on  his  face  once  more.    ‶  thank  you,  noel.   but  don’t  you  have  midterms  to  worry  about ??    ″
