And also... does that mean they didn't plan at all to do bunny ears to each other? I mean, if they had planned it, Peter would have checked to see if he was doing them right.

So that means that originally the photo was going to be with Tony's arm around Peter's back, and Peter's arm around Tony's shoulders.

Hi! Previous anon again. Honestly this is the most disappointed I have been since NWH. They ruined the previous movies as well. From the screenshot you posted I am guessing that he got swapped when he was in the hospital after his fall. That means the heart to heart scene between him and Tony where Rhodey was trying the braces never happened because it was never Rhodey. Its just so sad. I feel so sad right now. Idk, I am just so disappointed. They ruined another one of my favorite characters.

I'm really curious what they will do with Rhodey in Armor wars. I swear to god if they underestimate his trauma after this... This man has missed literally almost 10 years. Civil war happened during 2016 and I think MCU is currently in 2025. How could he recover after this? A second before he was with Tony standing outside his hospital room and the second later his best friend died and he has been swapped with a skrull for 10 years and no one noticed.

Also, something just came up to me... Didn't they said that the invasion started during the blip? or am I imaging things? If I am right marvel cannot even remember what they did three episode earlier.

Hi! It's great to see you back, even it is for a moment!

I stopped watching Secret Invasion past episode 3 because I couldn't get interested. But when I found out that Rhodey is skrull my first guess was he was replaced right after Endgame. But when they said he has been a skrull for a long time then I guess right before IW. Now I am feeling both satisfaction for being right and annoyance because this is the most stupidest thing ever. It undermines every single meaningful scene he has ever had. I hate it so much.

You know what's worse? It's the fact that they never planned it.

I Could have liked it if they planned it from the begging. If you go now to rewatch infinity war or endgame and find clues about Rhodey not being our Rhodey, it would be a "great" plot twist. Hurtful? yeah, but I would have been satisfied at least. But no, Marvel literally has to ruin old characters and old movies and for what? For this?

Overall, the series is boring. I liked the first episodes because I thought it was interesting, but after the last episodes? It's a big no. The series is useless. They could have filmed it in one whole episode and it would have ended there. This series is about Fury, not secret invasion. And what about G'iah? she's literally the strongest character ever. She has everyone's power but I bet they won't use her at all. The villain is lame, he literally has super powers but of course during the fight with G'iah he uses only super strength while G'iah uses every possible power (honestly, why does her arm become ice at some point? since when in endgame there was a superhero with ice powers). The invasion literally ends in two minutes and Fury goes off the planet with his wife like the world isn't literally in danger now that everyone knows about skrulls.

I have never been someone who said that marvel ended at endgame. I'm not a critic and an expert of writing movies and series, but I feel like they are doing too many mistakes.

EDIT: I just noticed another plot hole. G'iah, when she arrived at new skrull, was caughing so hard to make Gravik believe that she was Fury and was infected by the radiation. So that means humans cannot possibly survive in there, right?

So why the hell when at the end she freed all the humans, everyone was walking there like they were on a mountain trip.

Sorry to bother you, but the photos I put on the post are literally screenshots of Tony when Peter is talking to him. You can literally see he's watching HIM and not Pepper. She arrived later and even then she was standing upon Peter; If Tony really looked at her, then he would have directed his gaze upwards.

So, no, sorry to break it to you but Tony did payed attention to Peter, even if he didn't talk to him directly.

And the "kid" thing? Sorry, but me and a lot of people hear that. Nothing is confirmed and you're allowed to think that way if you want, but thinking that in that moment Tony was only thinking about his wife when he literally risked everything for Peter... yeah no, sorry that doesn't suit Tony's character at all.

Here to remind you how Tony was unfocusing his gaze 'cause of the pain he felt while probably struggling to recognize what was happening around him and who was the person in front of him, but as soon as he heard "it's me, it's Peter" he immediately focused on him.

And while he couldn't find the force to speak, my theory is that he didn't do it also because he didn't know what to say to make the kid stop crying, to make the pain go away.

He knew what to do with Pepper and with Rhodey, their reactions were so part of their characters: Rhodey and Tony didn't need to share a word, they have been friends since ever and they understand each other without the need to talk; Pepper and Tony both smiled at each other, to reassure the other that everything and everyone will be fine.

With Peter? I think Tony not speaking was also in character. He didn't almost speak when Peter was dying, he didn't know what to do. He tried to comfort him when he said "you're alright", but as soon as things got worse he just stood there in shock, without never taking his eyes off him while Peter was crying and begging him to do something.

The same happens here:

In the photos you can't catch it very clearly, but if you watch the complete scene you can see how Tony is not taking his eyes off him and -even when Pepper is there and is trying to take him away- he's trying to calm him down with his eyes, because that's Peter, the kid he lost and that he found five years later just to lose him again. I don't know if I'm the only one, but I almost saw panic in his eyes, it's like he was scared about Peter not being okay and about him not saying a word again. That's why he whispered kid once he wasn't in his gaze anymore, he wanted to see him one last time, to make sure to reassure him like he did with Rhodey and, soon, with Pepper. To make Peter sure that he will be fine even without him.
