Tony fucks up and now not only is Peter hurt, but he’s also terrified… of Tony. The man can tell by his shaking body and how Peter now walks on eggshells around him.

It’s heartbreaking.

But he’s going to try his best to earn Peter’s trust and forgiveness. Even if he knows he doesn’t deserve it.

Imagine if Tony had to find out about the building incident through a fever induced nightmare.

Maybe Tony stayed up to take care of Peter, and as he’s placing a cool compress on his forehead hears the boy mumble, “Please, I’m down here, I can’t breath, please.”

Peter reads the official rules of being employed at Stark Industries. The amount and strictness makes Peter anxious. However, if he wants to be an intern, he needs to adhere to the guidelines!

A small mistake (forgetting his badge, not adhering to a strict dress code, etc) causes Peter to break down. Meanwhile, Tony is unsure why the kid is panicking over something so small.
