In partnership with Jubilee Christian Church - Eastlands and The Good Shepherd Evangelistic Campaign, we contributed *87 Bibles* for their monthly crusade in Kenya which reaches over 1000 people every month who have never heard the gospel or had an encounter with Jesus. 87 Bibles = at a minimum 87 souls that will experience transformation! Membley Baptist Church, Hope Global, and the No Regrets Conference Presents.... THE “INSPIRE” YOUNG PROFESSIONALS CONFERENCE • It was amazing! About 40 young professionals gathered in one room for 3 hours. We had REAL CONVERSATION about REAL ISSUES and we tried to provide REAL SOLUTIONS. • This is our second year doing this. It was intimate and impactful. There was one guy who was trying to invite his friend on the other side of the city of Nairobi by sharing our flyer with her and she told him that Issac had just left their church preaching. This is @danny_cosby. My man 100 grand. I love this dude. Truly. We’ve been doing ministry together for over five years now (including his beautiful bride Johanna). It’s becoming even more crystal clear how much our assignments are connected to one another. In this image, we are unwinding from our worship service at the prison. It was amazing. Over 330 inmates in attendance. Here is the crazy thing. Danny can preach the gospel all by himself. He can stand flat footed and preach. Instead, he often asks me to preach - while he brings the worship. That’s humility. That’s strength. That’s character. That’s rare. I will never have a problem submitting to this guy or his vision. He has proven time and time again to be one of the most trustworthy people I have ever met. A godsend. I’m better because of his presence in my life. Today marks a very important anniversary that is worth celebrating. 20 years ago, I began preaching the gospel. I’ve learned so much about myself in 20 years. I’ve learned so much about the love of God and His matchless grace. I’m still trying to wrap my hands and mind around it. I’ve struggled. I’ve missed the mark. I’ve made mistakes. I’ve fallen into dysfunctional patterns. I’ve learned how to embrace my limitations. I’ve learned and am currently learning how to yearn for more of God and less of everything else that is not God. I’ve grown up. I’ve learned the beauty and power of being vulnerable and transparent before God’s people because that’s what they desire most - authenticity and the word of God preached entirely. I’ve entered into and am currently entering into a new dimension of ministry in the Spirit. I’ve learned that I hunger and thirst for transformational ministry. If it doesn’t transform lives and bear fruit of transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit, it won’t sustain my attention or loyalty. God is pruning me. Making me better. Because there are more disciples to be made. There are more people to be evangelized and exposed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. There are more leaders to be developed. Yes, I lead, I teach, I shepherd, I counsel, I write, and coach. But most importantly I preach. And every single time I stand to preach, it is my goal to preach as if I will never have another opportunity to proclaim the name of Jesus again. Although the spiritual warfare in my life is currently on level 10, I pray and humbly trust God for 20 more years of healthy, transformational, Christ-centric, healing ministry. If you do nothing else, pray the above prayer with me. “If I proclaim the gospel, this gives me no ground for boasting, for an obligation is laid on me, and woe to me if I do not proclaim the gospel!
